Elden Ring Nightreign players have created the ultimate cheat sheet for the weaknesses and resistances of every Nightlord

by admin June 12, 2025

Elden Ring Nightreign has been out for just under two weeks now. Usually, that’s enough time for some prevailing strategies – and clever discoveries – to emerge. Because of the way the game is structured, however, it’s not always easy to replicate your experience, which makes it a lot more difficult to pin down those things.

Case in point, the Nightlords – the game’s ultimate bosses, which the entire experience builds towards. Most players can’t fight them as often as they want to; it’s not like you can just re-enter the boss room after dying, so it’s taken everyone a while to learn a few basic things about them.

The FromSoftware community always delivers, though, and their latest accomplishment is one most players will benefit from. About a week after the game came out, one Japanese player posted a full chart of the weaknesses and resistances of each of Nightreign’s bosses.

The same chart was later translated to English by a different Reddit user, and it’s really something to behold. The chart lists all Nightlords, the type of physical damage each boss is weak against/resistant to (Standard, Slash, Strike, Pierce), as well as the same for elemental damage (Magic, Fire, Lightning, Holy, Poison, Rot, Bleed, Frostbite, Sleep, Madness).

It’s also colour-coded, which makes it much easier to see everything at a glance. Nightreign actually lists the weaknesses of each Nightlord in game, but it only shows one element they’re weak against, and is nowhere near as detailed as that chart.

No more guessing (or arguing). | Image credit: FromSoftware, Bandai Namco Entertainment, CestLaDonut.

Looking at the chart, you can see how Rot is effective against all Nightlords. The only other broadly effective element is Sleep, though not against Augur or Equilibrious Beast. You can also see that each boss has two to four weaknesses, except for Darkrift Knight Fulghor, who only has one.

On the subject of exposing data Nightreign just doesn’t show by default, a dataminer and modder recently dug deeper into the letter grades the game assigns attributes on each character’s stats page and found that they’re mostly misleading. In the background, character stats work pretty much the same way they do in Elden Ring proper.

If you’re looking for similarly useful advice to help you tackle every challenge in FromSoftware’s latest, our Elden Ring Nightreign guide is definitely one you should keep bookmarked. We continue to update it with new discoveries each week, so check back from time to time.

Epic Games continues war against Fortnite cheaters, files lawsuit against another cheat developer

by admin June 12, 2025

Epic Games has announced publicly it has filed a lawsuit against an individual it alleges has developed and sold cheats for Fortnite.

This latest venture in Epic Game’s ongoing war against those who create, sell, and use cheats was announced via the company’s own Twitter account. There, the company posted:

“We filed a new lawsuit against an individual who developed and sold cheating software that helped players see through walls and auto aim. We’re also going after people who helped sell this software. Creating and selling software to help others cheat is against the rules and we’ll keep fighting to keep it out of Fortnite.”

A new Fortnite season was revealed recently. Check it out!Watch on YouTube

According to Polygon, the lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the eastern district of North Carolina where the company is headquartered. It alleges Ediz Atas, also known as Sincey Cheats and Vanta Chearts, has been making and selling cheats since “at least January 2023”.

Epic alleges in the lawsuit that after DMCA takedowns were issued to YouTube videos featuring these cheats, “Sincey Cheats sent multiple emails to YouTube’s designated copyright agent impersonating an Epic employee and falsely claiming that Epic wanted to ‘formally reverse [its] claim of copyright infringement'” by using fake Epic Games email addresses.

Epic also claims its has issued tens of thousands of bans against Fortnite accounts that used cheats from Sincey Cheats since 2022, including over 15,000 bans on US-based Fortnite accounts.

The lawsuit is also asking for compensation for damages from five unnamed individuals who distributed these cheats over platforms like Discord and Telegram. The amount is unknown.

In case you didn’t know, Epic Games has proven especially litigious when it comes to Fortnite cheaters. In 2022 Epic forced a cheat creator to pay up in Australian court following a legal victory, donating the winnings to charity.

Epic also sued a player who used cheats during a massive multi-million dollar tournament to give back any prize money they won, and make a cathartic public apology to boot!

The company is not alone in its struggle against cheats. Activision has also been fighting against cheats, winning £11.3m in court against a Call of Duty cheat maker. Bungie has been in those trenches too, winning a $4.4m lawsuit against Destiny cheat seller Aimjunkies.

Epic sues creator and resellers of Fortnite cheat software

by admin June 11, 2025

Epic Games has filed a new lawsuit against Fortnite cheat software developer, Sincey Cheats and Vanta Cheats.

The legal case, as spotted by Polygon, is targeting both the creator of the aimbot software and a number of their resellers. The case has been filed in North Carolina, where Epic Games is headquartered, with Epic reporting it has taken action against “tens of thousands of Fortnite accounts” that have been caught using Sincey Cheats cheat software since February 2022. In the U.S. alone, Epic purports it has banned “over 15,000” accounts.

Epic Games alleges that Ediz Atas, aka Sincey Cheats and Vanta Cheats, has profited from developing and selling cheat software for its prized battle royale Fortnite “since at least January 2023.” The firm says the software gives players unfair advantages against players who don’t cheat, breaching its EULA and circumventing the developer’s anti-cheat software. It also alleges this hurts Epic’s bottom line, as widespread cheating could put legitimate players off, resulting in a loss of sales in season passes and cosmetics.

The company is also suing five unnamed defendants for reselling the software.

Though Epic did not indicate a dollar amount for compensation, Polygon said it’s suing for statutory and compensatory damages for lost profits, attorney’s fees, and other costs associated with the lawsuit.

The SAG-AFTRA union recently filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board against Epic Games for using AI to portray Darth Vader in Fortnite.

How To Use The Sims 4 Moveobjects Cheat

by admin May 25, 2025

There are two main types of Sims 4 players. There are the folks who are here for the simulation side of things, with all the fun drama that entails. And then there are those who are here to build dope houses. Regardless of which of those you are, there’s one cheat that is absolutely essential (though it’ll matter much more for the builders): bb.moveobjects.

This cheat is among the most-used Sims 4 cheats aside from the ones that give you money. Once you’ve used it, it’s not tough to understand why it’s so beloved–the moveobjects cheat makes building a realistic house much easier, and generally allows you to play a lot more items than there would normally be room for. It’s so fundamentally important that EA has actually incorporated certain aspects of the cheat into the base game. At this point, EA treats it more like a tool for advanced users than a real cheat.

How to turn on bb.moveobjects

To activate this cheat, press ctrl+shift+C on PC, or hold down all four shoulder buttons if you’re playing on a console, to bring up the command console at the top left of your screen, and then type “bb.moveobjects on”. There is no need to activate cheats generally with the separate “testingcheats true” command or to do anything else. Moveobjects works by itself.

What bb.moveobjects does

The main thing that the moveobjects cheat does is to allow you to place any item anywhere you want without limitation. The reason we need this is because The Sims 4 can get pretty finicky about placing items too close to each other when they don’t intrinsically go together (like a desk chair with a desk). So if you place a bed against a wall, for example, you cannot place a light fixture or painting or anything else on the wall above the bed.

Why you need bb.moveobjects

With the moveobjects cheat on, however, all those limitations go away, and you can place anything you want anywhere you want. This allows you to place far more things in your house than you normally could, and also to place them more realistically–you can make your sim’s house look like a real house.

To really amp up the cheat, use it in conjunction with The Sims 4’s free placement tool by holding down the Alt key while placing an item–this will disable the item from being snapped to the grid, allowing you to more granularly place it how you like. If you’ve ever looked at a house in the gallery that seemed particularly naturalistic in terms of how it was arranged, it’s almost always because it was built like this.

What not to do with bb.moveonbjects

Even though you can put any item wherever you want, that doesn’t mean you should. You’ll still need to be careful what you do with functional objects, ie stuff that your sims can use or otherwise interact with. If you stack too many things in a single grid square, your sim may not actually be able to get to any of the usable items. It’s not always easily predictable how multiple items in the same grid space will interfere with each other, so keep this in mind if your sim keeps giving you the footsteps thought cloud when you tell them to use the microwave in your overly cluttered kitchen.

Do you need to turn on bb.moveobjects before downloading a house from the gallery?

When you’re browsing user-created houses and rooms in the gallery, you’ll see that a ton of them include a note that you need to turn bb.moveobjects on before downloading and placing it–and if you see one that says “MOO” in the description, that means the same thing, because it’s short for “Move Objects On.”

But you don’t actually need to turn on the moveobjects cheat to download a house built with it anymore. These days, any room or lot created with moveobjects will download seamlessly without any need to intervene with console commands. EA apparently decided that the cheat’s use was so widespread that it should make this part of it intrinsic to the game’s function. Since you had to turn it on every single time you changed lots, this is a really helpful change.
