Silksong newcomers, I can’t stress to you enough that you should buy all of Shakra’s map items ASAP

by admin September 5, 2025

For the brave among us who are diving into Silksong without having played Hollow Knight, some of the game’s quirks will seem a bit opaque. One of these quirks is the map system, or rather, the seeming lack of it. It’s definitely not uncommon for exploration-focused platformers to have obscure or downright useless maps, but for a while Silksong seems like it might not even have one at all.

Don’t worry though: not only does Silksong have a map, but it can be very useful so long as you cough up some rosaries ASAP. After about an hour in Silksong you’ll encounter the NPC Shakra in The Marrow—listen out for the lovely yodelling. After some dialogue they’ll offer to sell you a bunch of map-centric stuff, and your first instinct might be to ignore it. Of course this metroidvania will just plot out my map as I explore it, right? Nope: not only do you have to buy maps, but you have to buy map markers and other useful icons, such as those demarking resting places.

Oh, and you also have to buy the ability to see yourself on the map.

Related articles

Even though Shakra’s gear might seem expensive in total, you should 100% buy it all up as soon as you meet them. It’s going to make early exploration a lot more relaxed and rewarding, and if you don’t do it straight away, you’ll probably eventually realise that you should have.

Shakra has two maps: one of The Marrow (where Shakra is) and one of Mosslands (from where you’ve come). Buy them both so you know where you’ve been and where you should explore next.

Then buy the Quill, which will help you distinguish explored from unexplored areas on the maps you’ve bought. Perhaps most importantly, buy the Compass: this will let you see where Hornet is on the map. If you don’t have the Compass, you have to figure out where you are based on the shape of rooms and that’s… imprecise. For the Compass to work you have to equip it in the menu, at a resting place.

You should prioritise according to this list, in my opinion:

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

  • Map of The Marrow (50 rosaries)
  • Map of Mosslands (50 rosaries)
  • Compass (70 rosaries)
  • Quill (50 rosaries)
  • Bench pins (60 rosaries)
  • Shell marker (40 rosaries)

By the end your map should look like this. See how useful it is? It shows you where save points are, and the faint lines to the right are areas I’ve yet to explore, but for which I own a map. Hornet’s head marks where I’m standing right now.

That’s 320 rosaries in total, which will feel like a lot this early in the game. Honestly, you can skip the shell markers if you want—you won’t really need those for a while—and if Shakra disappears from The Marrow you’ll find them later on. But if you’re feeling short of rosaries, go left and up into a new screen. Follow left up here, and you’ll find a wealth of enemies who grant a lot of rosaries, and even a rosary bead. It’ll take about five minutes of grinding to get enough to buy out Shakra, assuming you came in with a bit as well. If they fail to respawn when you exit and re-enter the room, there’s a resting spot to unlock easy access to nearby: resting respawns them more reliably. For more info on getting rosaries, this how to get Silksong rosaries guide is all about it.

Anyone who played Hollow Knight will know that buying map items as early as possible comes highly recommended, and it’s nice to see that Silksong grants access to some crucial QoL items—like the Quill and Compass—earlier than its predecessor. As much as I love getting lost, I also like to have the tools to get un-lost. You’re definitely going to need them going forward.

Silksong is so popular, even people in the Piracy subreddit are encouraging others to just buy it: ‘If we can afford to support them, we should’

by admin September 4, 2025

Hollow Knight: Silksong finally went live today—you may have heard something about that—and its arrival absolutely demolished Steam, which simply could not hold up under the crushing demand of Skongmania. As Steam crumbled like a train bridge made of soggy noodles, GOG did what it does best: Took a shot from the shadows.

“It appears that Silkzillion gamers worldwide are trying to get their hands on Hollow Knight: Silksong, and digital storefronts are struggling to handle the traffic,” GOG posted on X. “But the DRM-free Bastion stands strong.” Naturally, there was a link to Silksong on GOG.

It appears that Silkzillion gamers worldwide are trying to get their hands on Hollow Knight: Silksong, and digital storefronts are struggling to handle the traffic. But the DRM-free Bastion stands strong 😎👇 https://t.co/XVbkDmXLceSeptember 4, 2025

I can’t say I’d really thought about it before seeing that post, but it caught me a little by surprise because it felt, well, incongruous. The value of DRM is debatable but generally speaking it does at least help cut down on day-one piracy; releasing one of the most eagerly anticipated games to come along in years on a platform whose number-one promo point is “No DRM” was surely a high-risk move.

Except, maybe not. Sure enough, Silksong was available through less-than-legal channels almost immediately after launch, but as noticed by GamesRadar, the 2.4 million strong Piracy subreddit seemed torn on the topic: Unexpectedly, quite a few of its members have been urging people not to pirate Silksong.

“I was planning on doing it, since every recent game costs around $80 and that’s a lot of money for a game,” one redditor wrote in a pre-release thread asking how potential pirates planned to proceed. “But after the price was revealed, $20, I thought, damn that’s good, and I’m not pirating it.”

Others felt the same way, “I think I’m just gonna buy this one. It’s only $20 and I really enjoyed Hollow Knight so, I’m sure I won’t be mad about spending the money on this one,” one respondent wrote.

“Apparently it’ll only be like 20 bucks with a three person team. I can and will definitely buy it after it’s been out a week or two,” another added.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Similar responses can be seen in a bigger thread announcing that Silksong was uploaded to pirate sites 15 minutes after it launched.

“It’s a 3-4 person team that has done right by their fans at every turn,” No-Shape6053 wrote. “Making sure the PC release is DRM free. Making sure all original backers of Hollow Knight get Silksong free on their choice of platform. This is a time where if we can afford to support them, we should.”

Redditor Efrayl added: “I’m buying this game on GOG straight away, even though I will probably play it later (after a few updates and when it will be on discount).”

RandoT said he’s never purchased a full-priced game on launch day in the 10+ years he’s had his Steam account, but he’s doing it for Silksong: “It was Team Cherry that made me break my ‘vow’ to always buy on discount.”

Silksong’s release is the first time I’ve seen comments on the Piracy subreddit push for people to buy it instead.

— @airbagged.bsky.social (@airbagged.bsky.social.bsky.social) 2025-09-04T21:13:04.693Z

#Silksong has appeared on piracy websites for PC and r/Piracy is having arguments over pirating it, lmao

— @born2beslicker.bsky.social (@born2beslicker.bsky.social.bsky.social) 2025-09-04T21:13:04.668Z

To be clear, this is not a wholesale changing-of-ways. Plenty of people in the subreddit say they’re going to pirate Silksong regardless, some with the claimed intent of buying it later when their finances allow and others simply as a matter of because I can principle.

But the extent of the push to just buy the damned thing seems genuinely unusual. Much of that arises from the fact that Silksong itself is very unusual: A monster-hit (and, going by the current Steam rating, very good—we’re still working on our review but will have it up soon) game priced at $20, developed by tiny team that doesn’t seem too arsed about the accepted conventions of making and releasing videogames.

It’s not the sort of scenario that could be duplicated by Electronic Arts or Ubisoft, in other words, and I wouldn’t expect executives at any major or mid-sized publisher to look at this and think that maybe ditching Denuvo really is the way to go. Still, it does really drive home the notion that while you’re never going to stop piracy, you can sometimes turn some people around on it by asking a fair price, making a good game, and being genuine throughout. I think that’s kind of nice.

The Asus Prime RTX 5070 12GB is the absolute cheapest RTX 5070 available to buy, now only $523

by admin September 3, 2025

Although still on the “far too expensive” side for me, it’s great to see the continuation of the 50-series GPU discounts from retailers. One of the reasons for the dip in prices may be to clear out inventory before the release of the rumoured 50-series Super variants when they release, or perhaps interest has waned on overly expensive graphics cards; we can’t be certain, but I welcome any and all price reductions.

Hitting an all-time low price on B&H Photo, Asus’s GeForce RTX 5070 Prime GPU is now only $523.79, a new all-time low price and, more importantly, dipping well under the paper-MSRP launch prices. As of the writing of this article, it is the cheapest RTX 5070 12GB available to buy. It’s also worth noting that the same card can be purchased from Amazon for the identical deal price, but there is a caveat: you must be an Amazon Prime member to purchase this GPU.

If you want to pack the latest generation of graphics card in your system, today’s deal could be the perfect opportunity to pick one up. The Asus Prime RTX 5070 utilizes the Blackwell architecture and provides access to the latest Nvidia software features, including DLSS 4, Reflex 2, Nvidia Broadcast, and more.

The Asus Prime RTX 5070 12GB features 6144 CUDA cores for graphics processing, and a boost clock of 2542MHz. The super-fast GDDR7 VRAM features memory speeds of 28 Gbps on a 192-bit memory bus, and with 12GB available, there is ample memory for compiling shaders and textures to achieve optimal game performance.

We’ve been testing the latest 50-series cards extensively and benchmarking them against some of the most popular game titles out there. You can see how the RTX 5070 12GB ranks in our review, where we put the Nvidia GPU through its paces. In the chart below, you can see where the RTX 5070 ranks in regard to the geomean averages for rasterization in our suite of games. Placing above the previous generation’s RTX 4070, it has slight generational performance gains in pure rasterization.

8 Crazy Things You Can Buy With Crypto in 2025

by admin September 2, 2025

Key takeaways

  • Crypto can be spent on virtually everything in 2025, including high-value and unconventional items.

  • Cryonic preservation, DNA storage and advanced biohacking treatments are now available through cryptocurrency payments worldwide.

  • From property deals to tuition bills, more institutions are opening up to cryptocurrency payments.

  • Autonomous AI agents can make crypto payments, while tokenized racehorses and NFT-linked animals combine digital and physical ownership.

We are past the time when cryptocurrencies were just for trading and investing. You can now use it to buy virtually anything, including luxury and unconventional items, such as private islands, racehorses, luxury bunkers and even biohacking implants. In fact, as adoption spreads, buyers are increasingly turning their digital assets into rare and high-value possessions. This guide highlights some of the most unexpected and remarkable things you can buy with crypto in 2025.

1. DNA-based time capsules

You could preserve your DNA or digital legacy for future generations using crypto. There are services that allow you to pay with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) or other cryptocurrencies to store your genome or personal memories securely in biobanks or decentralized digital vaults.

Many of these platforms use blockchain technology to ensure tamper-proof ownership records and provide timed-release mechanisms. This ensures that your data is accessible only when intended, whether decades or centuries later.

Some of these services even combine blockchain security with crypto payments. These crypto-funded time capsules give you a way to connect with future generations using your digital assets.

2. Autonomous AI agents

Autonomous AI agents are becoming increasingly more capable as we step into the second half of 2025. These agents can now handle crypto payments on their own without requiring any human intervention — a concept now known as agentic payments.

Aeon’s AI Payment system is one such example where agents can learn user behavior, compare prices, make purchases and complete crypto transactions across websites, QR codes and even NFC-enabled retail setups.

These systems often work across blockchains like BNB Chain and Solana, among others. Meanwhile, infrastructure players such as Mastercard are building secure tokenization layers so AI agents can operate under strict user-defined permissions, maintain transparency and stay within oversight frameworks.

All these developments collectively signal toward an increasingly apparent shift — one in which AI, blockchain and smart contracts start to work in sync to power faster, automated and trust-minimized digital commerce.

Did you know? Pizza chains in the US and Europe accept crypto via platforms such as BitPay. You can use BTC, ETH or stablecoins for dinner.

3. Cryonic preservation

Cryonic preservation is the practice of storing the human body (or just the brain) at extremely low temperatures after legal death. The goal is to revive them in the future, once science catches up and finds a way to treat what we call fatal today, whether that’s disease, injury, or age-related decline

Companies like Alcor Life Extension Foundation are already offering these services, and they accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment methods.

The idea of paying with crypto makes sense for something as radical as cryonics. Both appeal to people who trust tech more than incumbent systems. In any case, if you are planning to come back from the dead, odds are high you are probably not the type who writes checks. Paying with crypto just fits.

4. Luxury cars

Purchasing luxury cars with cryptocurrency is now a reality. Ferrari accepts crypto payments for its luxury cars in the US and the EU. Select dealers of Lamborghini accept digital currencies for vehicle purchases, too.

Post Oak Motor Cars in Houston accepts crypto for luxury vehicles, such as Bentley and Bugatti, using BitPay. Ferris Cars in South Africa accepts payments in cryptocurrencies for vehicles.

Other dealers where you can pay in cryptocurrencies include Exclusive Automotive Group, an authorized dealer for Aston Martin and Bentley in Washington, D.C.; Infiniti of San Jose, California; and Puente Hills Mitsubishi in City of Industry, California.

Most dealers partner with services like BitPay or CoinPayments to convert crypto to fiat instantly without risking delays and volatility. However, some dealerships may allow direct wallet-to-wallet payments.

Did you know? Bentley University (Massachusetts, US) now accepts Bitcoin, Ether and USDC (USDC) for tuition fees through a Coinbase partnership.

5. Tokenized racehorses and NFTs of real animals

Cryptocurrencies are creeping into stables and sanctuaries, too. Platforms like Hoofborn now let you buy fractional ownership of actual racehorses using blockchain technology. So, instead of betting on a horse, you could own a piece of one.

There’s also a growing trend of tying real animals to non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Cryptozoology is an emerging trend where real-world animals, such as exotic pets, endangered species or livestock, are linked to NFTs.

These tokens can fund conservation efforts, raise awareness or represent caretaking rights. For example, NFT holders may support wildlife sanctuaries or get access to behind-the-scenes animal interactions.

6. Cosmetic surgery and biohacking implants

Some cosmetic clinics are already accepting crypto for procedures such as liposuction, botox and even hair transplants. A Beverly Hills practice, a Miami surgeon and a clinic in Atlanta all joined the crypto club recently.

Beyond that, biohacking is going mainstream. Think peptide therapy, NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) infusions, exosome and stem cell treatments. Clinics in Dubai and elsewhere are leading the charge, and given how crypto-friendly Dubai is, crypto payments might not be far off there either.

Globally, biohacking clinics are gaining popularity. In Dubai and other parts of the world, centers for advanced, non-invasive treatments such as NAD+ infusions, peptide therapy, stem cell treatments and exosome therapy are becoming more widely available.

With the crypto-supportive regulatory regime in Dubai, it won’t be surprising if some of these begin accepting crypto payments.

7. Real estate

Purchasing real estate with cryptocurrency has become increasingly common in 2025. In Los Angeles, Christie’s International Real Estate has established a dedicated cryptocurrency division to handle property purchases using digital assets such as BTC and ETH.

Christie’s has finalized multiple luxury home sales in Southern California. Real estate platforms such as Crypto Real Estate and RealOpen allow users to browse properties, including private islands, and purchase them directly using cryptocurrencies. These platforms list thousands of crypto-friendly properties worldwide.

If local jurisdictions prohibit direct crypto transfer for buying property, platforms may integrate with concierge services that discreetly convert cryptocurrency to traditional currency.

Meanwhile, platforms like Propy use blockchain and artificial intelligence to manage escrow and property titles onchain. The vision behind a move like that is to simplify the closing process for crypto-based real estate transactions.

Companies like Ledn and Salt Lending offer crypto-collateralized mortgages to buyers who use BTC as collateral.

Did you know? The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund’s (UNICEF) CryptoFund accepts donations in Bitcoin and Ether, using them to fund global initiatives transparently.

8. Luxury accessories

Online retailers like CW Sellors in the UK accept various cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH and USDC, for luxury watches and jewelry.

Similarly, Ace Jewelers allows unlimited cryptocurrency payments for high-end watches and accessories at its European stores. Another notable example would be Crypto Emporium, which offers global collectors a massive collection of prestigious brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. You can purchase all of it with Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Even mainstream payment processors like BitPay also enable cryptocurrency purchases at numerous jewelers and watch dealers worldwide.

What is next

The use cases we have covered above are just the proverbial tip of the iceberg. For instance, countries like El Salvador and some US states like Utah already accept Bitcoin for taxes. Similarly, a few universities in Switzerland and the US are currently testing crypto tuition payments.

All things considered, crypto may never replace money outright, but it’s clearly becoming part of how people spend, invest and interact with services worldwide.

This article does not contain investment advice or recommendations. Every investment and trading move involves risk, and readers should conduct their own research when making a decision.

Saylor’s Strategy Increases Dividend Rate After Massive BTC Buy

Saylor’s Strategy Increases Dividend Rate After Massive BTC Buy

by admin September 2, 2025

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), a leading business intelligence firm, has made a juicy raise on its dividend rate as it continues to expand its Bitcoin treasury strategy. The move, disclosed by the firm’s chairman, Michael Saylor, in a recent X post, has stirred reactions from the crypto community.

According to the post, Saylor announced that Strategy has increased its annual dividend rate from 9.0% to 10.0% on September 2nd. This signals impressive growth in the company’s operational and financial performance, fueling strong investor confidence.

Strategy buys another 4048 BTC

With further data provided by the source showing that STRC has seen its price surge to $97.75, the firm has increased its annual dividend to 10% ahead of its next payout date scheduled for September 30, 2025.

Moreover, the stock has seen its market capitalization hit a massive $2.74 billion as the firm remains committed to expanding its financial operations while boosting the value of STRC via its crypto engagements.

While the reason behind the increase in the STRC dividend rate was not clearly stated by the company, commentators have attributed the development to Strategy’s massive BTC winnings.

Just a few hours earlier, Saylor had taken to X to confirm another major BTC purchase by Strategy. The firm had acquired a massive 4,048 BTC worth about $449.3 million. While the massive BTC buy was made at an average price of $110,981 per BTC, the firm has seen its year-to-date BTC yield surge to 25.7%.

You Might Also Like

Following the latest BTC buy from Strategy, its Bitcoin holdings have now reached a massive 636,505 BTC, acquired at an average purchase price of $73,765 per BTC.

With Bitcoin being the major powerhouse for Strategy’s financial dealings, its recent decision to offer shareholders juicy rates on its annual returns suggests that the increase in its BTC portfolio has fueled notable growth for STRC. As such, Strategy is able to pay out more dividends to investors, all thanks to its mega Bitcoin treasury.

Nonetheless, the move suggests that Strategy’s massive Bitcoin winnings have not only paid off in its market worth but have also boosted its shareholder value, posing STRC for further price surge amid growing demand for Strategy’s investment products.

The best cheap Android phones to buy in 2025

by admin September 2, 2025

You don’t need to spend a fortune to get a new phone that handles your daily tasks with ease. The best cheap Android phones pack impressive features into affordable price tags, making them great options for anyone who wants solid performance without stretching their wallet. Whether you’re scrolling social media, streaming videos or snapping photos, there are plenty of budget-friendly Android devices that can keep up with everything you do.

While you might not get all the bells and whistles of flagship models, many of today’s affordable phones still offer surprisingly good build quality, smooth displays and capable camera systems. Some even boast impressive camera quality that can go toe-to-toe with far more expensive options — perfect for casual photographers or anyone who just wants to capture great moments on the go.

Table of contents

Best budget Android phones for 2025

SAMSUNG

Screen size: 6.7 inches | Storage capacity: 256GB + microSD | SIM card type: Nano-SIM | Front camera resolution: 13MP | Rear camera resolution: 50MP main, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro | Weight: 7.05 oz

For $200, the Galaxy A16 5G offers tremendous value. I haven’t had a chance to test it, but feel confident recommending it since Samsung took an already great phone in the A15 5G and made it even better. Compared to its predecessor, the A16 features a thinner design, slimmer bezels and an even larger 6.7-inch screen. It also includes a new, faster and more efficient Exynos 1330, alongside an incredible six years of promised software support.

The only disappointing thing about the A16 is that Samsung didn’t update the phone’s camera package, but considering how much phone you’re getting for $200, it’s hard to fault the company. Oh, and the A16 doesn’t come with a headphone jack, so budget for wireless earbuds. — Igor Bonifacic, Senior Reporter

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Upgraded processor
  • Nice 6.7-inch screen
  • Thinner design

Cons

  • Camera array is a bit stale
  • No headphone jack

$200 at Amazon

OnePlus

Screen size: 6.72 inches | Storage capacity: 128GB + microSD | SIM card type: Nano-SIM | Front camera resolution: 16MP | Rear camera resolution: 108MP main, 2MP macro | Weight: 6.8 oz

When it first came out, the Nord N30 had basically everything you could want in a phone that cost $300. Its Snapdragon 695 5G chipset delivers strong performance along with speedy wireless connectivity that’s compatible with all the big US carriers, not to mention good specs including 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, making it a worthy upgrade. It also has a big 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is rare on a budget phone as most rivals feature slower 60Hz or 90Hz panels. And thanks to its 50-watt wired fast charging, you can top it up quickly, too. It also offers software updates for a decent period, ensuring its longevity. But most importantly, the Nord 30 recently got a price drop from $300 to $250, making it an unquestionably good deal and our top pick in this space.

Pros

  • Good performance for the price
  • 120Hz display
  • 50W wired charging

$300 at Amazon

Motorola

Screen size: 6.5 inches | Storage capacity: 64GB + microSD | SIM card type: Nano-SIM | Front camera resolution: 8MP | Rear camera resolution: 50MP | Weight: 6.53 oz

For those on a really tight budget, the 2024 Moto G Play covers all the bases well. It has a speedy Snapdragon 680 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. And while that last number might seem small, the phone has a microSD card slot so you can add more space if and when you need it. Its 6.5-inch LCD screen is also surprisingly sharp with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Moto G Play even has an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. That isn’t much, but it’s good enough to protect against an errant splash or two. Sure, the G Play is basic, but it’s basic in a good way, especially if you’re not too fussed about running multiple apps and just want a handset to perform everyday tasks.

Pros

  • 90Hz display
  • IP52 rating
  • Expandable storage via a microSD card slot

Cons

  • Only 64GB of onboard storage

$110 at Amazon

Igor Bonifacic for Engadget

Screen size: 6.77 inches | Storage capacity: 256GB | SIM type: Nano-SIM + eSIM | Front camera resolution: 50MP | Rear camera resolution: 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 50MP periscope telephoto | Weight: 7.44 ounces

Read our Nothing Phone 3a Pro review

If you want something different from your next phone, there are few if any devices out there like the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. It has a translucent glass back that evokes the design of old Game Boys, allowing you to see some of its internal components, including the NFC antennas. At $459, it’s also one of the best deals in the industry, thanks to a compelling mix of features. The Phone 3a sports a bright 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery, a decently speedy Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. That last feature is something that’s difficult to find in the 3a Pro’s price range, especially in North America. — Igor Bonifacic, Senior Reporter

Pros

  • Fun design
  • Large 120Hz AMOLED screen
  • Clean but customizable Android skin

Cons

  • Limited US warranty
  • No wireless charging
  • Tinny speakers

$459 at Amazon

How cheap should you go for an Android phone?

We tend to define a budget smartphone as costing between $150 and $350. Any lower and the device runs the risk of suffering from too many compromises in function, and above that, you cross over to pricier midrange handsets (if you’re open to spending more, we shouted out a couple of our favorite flagship phones at the very end of this guide).

But for those with a little wiggle room, there are some things to consider. For example, a child may be better off with a cheaper device, especially if it’s intended mainly for emergencies, WiFi browsing or texting parents (and not social media). On the higher end of this price spectrum, sub-$350 Samsung phones and other Android devices have come a long way thanks to improved performance, better phone cameras with low-light capabilities, fast charging, and nicer displays like AMOLED panels. This makes them a viable alternative to, say, a flagship handset with a premium design, even if you have the flexibility to spend more.

What to look for in a cheap Android phone

When it comes to cheap phones, you get what you pay for. Most smartphones in this price range are made out of plastic, though the fit and finish of a specific model can vary a lot based on price. A bright screen is also important. Typically you’ll get LCD panels with a 60Hz or 90Hz refresh rate, but some phones may have OLED or AMOLED screens with increased color saturation. Long battery life is critical as well, so we tend to favor devices with larger power cells of around 5,000 mAh. In this price range, performance can vary a lot, so look for devices with at least 8GB of RAM and processors that can deliver stutter-free visuals. It’s also important to consider support length: as periodic security updates and lengthy software support can extend the longevity of your device, which will save you money in the long run.

Android phone FAQs

What’s the price difference for a cheap Android vs a cheap iPhone?

iPhones tend to be more expensive compared to Android phones — even the cheapest iPhone, the iPhone SE, which starts from $429, is a harder pill to swallow compared to a cheap Android phone. In contrast, you can get your hands on a cheap Android device for as low as $100.

Best Altcoins to Buy After Sudden Whale Shift from Bitcoin to Ethereum

by admin September 1, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Bitcoin has long been the darling of big-money crypto investors. But it looks like the winds are now shifting in favor of Ethereum.

For instance, a $BTC whale ‘Bitcoin OG’ has been rotating funds from Bitcoin into Ethereum over the past month.

Similarly, on August 21, another whale sold 670 $BTC from a massive seven-year-old stash of 14,837 $BTC (worth $1.6B) to build long $ETH positions, buying 68,130 tokens.

This kind of large-scale institutional rotation underscores the growing confidence in Ethereum – the backbone of DeFi and Web3 – and highlights investors’ eagerness to diversify.

Even better? Traditionally, a rise in $ETH allocations is followed by increased investment in altcoins, which is why many experts believe a new altcoin season could be just around the corner.

Read on as we explore Ethereum’s path ahead and highlight the best altcoins to buy to make the most of this opportunity.

Drying ETH Reserves and the WLFI Listing Effect

Ethereum exchange reserves are dwindling rapidly. Data from CryptoQuant shows that $ETH available on exchanges is now at an all-time low, suggesting aggressive accumulation on all fronts.

Another macro factor driving $ETH is the latest $WLFI (World Liberty Financial) token listing.

WLFI is a Trump-backed crypto investment firm, and a massive 66% ($328.20M) of its total holdings are in Ethereum. So, a strong listing for WLFI could trigger further bullish momentum in $ETH.

And things are looking pretty good on the technical side, too.

$ETH is currently trading around $4,300 and is just one big fat green candle away from breaking out of a long-drawn consolidation zone, as highlighted by the descending triangle pattern in the image below.

With all the stars aligning perfectly for Ethereum, the broader altcoin market stands to benefit the most.

Since $ETH is the base layer for a majority of altcoins, stabilization at higher levels could lead to institutional liquidity rotating into smaller tokens as investors adopt a more risk-on approach and chase high-growth opportunities.

Looking for the best cryptos to invest in right now? Here are three awesome suggestions.

1. Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) – Supercharging the Bitcoin Ecosystem with Solana-Like Performance

Despite some big-money players preferring Ethereum over Bitcoin, there’s no shortage of bullish sentiment for the ‘digital gold.’

Just a couple of days ago, a new Bitcoin whale was born after a hefty 1,506 $BTC deposit worth $163.5M.

That’s why Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) stands out as one of the best cryptos to buy now.

It’s building the first-ever Layer 2 solution that’s aimed at bringing Solana-like performance to the otherwise slow and aging Bitcoin blockchain.

By integrating the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), $HYPER will unlock full compatibility with smart contracts and dApps directly on Bitcoin.

And thanks to a fast, decentralized, non-custodial canonical bridge, you’ll be able to seamlessly convert your Layer 1 $BTC into ‘wrapped’ $BTC tokens, fully compatible with Hyper’s Layer 2.

Why is this conversion important? Because it allows you to use native $BTC tokens across high-speed DeFi trading apps, NFT marketplaces, lending and staking protocols, DAOs, and gaming dApps.

Currently in presale, Bitcoin Hyper has already raised over $13.2M from early investors. Here’s how to buy $HYPER.

Each token is priced at just $0.012835, with our $HYPER price prediction suggesting the token could climb 2,400% by year-end – potentially hitting $0.32.

Visit Bitcoin Hyper’s official website for more information.

2. Best Wallet Token ($BEST) – New Non-Custodial Crypto Wallet Enabling Direct Presale Purchase

With trading volumes at record highs, the need for a reliable and easy-to-use crypto wallet has never been greater. Enter Best Wallet Token ($BEST).

This new crypto powers Best Wallet, a free crypto wallet that delivers a never-before-seen blend of usability and rock-solid security.

  • It’s fully non-custodial, giving you exclusive control over your private keys.
  • It offers advanced two-factor authentication options, including biometric login.
  • It’s also packed with safeguards against hacks, scams, and phishing websites.

Impressive, right? But the real kicker is its Presale Aggregator, which is a feature you won’t find in any other wallet.

Simply put, it lets you buy the best crypto presales directly within the app. No need to jump across external websites, as everything happens securely inside Best Wallet.

And buying $BEST doesn’t just give you front-row seats to the wallet’s growth, but it also unlocks a bunch of exclusive perks.

These include reduced trading fees, voting rights, staking rewards (currently 87%), and early-bird access to new meme coins in presale.

1 $BEST is currently available at just $0.025575, with the project having already gathered over $15.3M.

Check out $BEST’s official website for more information.

3. Unstable Coin ($USDUC) – Viral Meme Coin Pumping Harder than Ever

The best thing about meme coins? They’re probably some of the most self-aware projects you’ll ever see – across industries, countries, and even planets.

Unstable Coin ($USDUC) is a picture-perfect example. The token knows it’s a pure meme coin, and it doesn’t try to be anything else. In fact, it prides itself on having no intrinsic value, utility, or roadmap.

On paper, it’s a satirical take on the USDC stablecoin and the entire ethos of stablecoins: bringing stability to the crypto market.

But according to the developers of Unstable Coin, crypto is inherently volatile, and that shouldn’t change. The result? $USDUC, a meme coin that exists to revolt against stablecoins.

And as we’ve come to expect from meme coin degens, the more absurd a coin’s premise, the more ridiculous its gains.

Available on both Solana and Ethereum, $USDUC has already surged more than 518% since launching in June this year.

It’s currently trading at record highs of $0.06947, and with momentum on its side, there may be no stopping it from rocketing further into uncharted territory.

Bottom Line

With institutional players snagging up Ethereum at an unprecedented pace, the stage is set for a full-blown altcoin season.

However, kindly keep in mind that none of the above is financial advice. Crypto investments are highly risky, and you must only invest after doing your own research.

Crypto ‘Buy The Dip’ Calls Spiking May Be A Warning Sign

by admin August 31, 2025

The rising number of “buy the dip” calls on social media following Bitcoin’s 5% decline over the past week could signal more downside ahead for the crypto market, sentiment platform Santiment says.

“Clearly, overall, in the markets, people are getting antsy and trying to find some entry spots now that prices have cooled down a bit,” Santiment analyst Brian Quinlivan said in a video published on YouTube on Saturday.

Santiment said in a separate report published on the same day that social media mentions of “buy the dip” have increased significantly amid the crypto market downturn, which may be a warning sign for the market.

“Don’t interpret ‘buy the dip’ chatter as a definitive bottom signal. A true market floor often coincides with widespread fear and a lack of interest in buying,” Santiment said.

“A real bottom often forms when the crowd loses hope and becomes afraid to buy,” Santiment added.

Sentiment is recovering as traders anticipate altcoin season

The total crypto market capitalization is $3.79 trillion at the time of publication, down approximately 6.18% over the past seven days, according to CoinMarketCap.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $108,748 at the time of publication, down approximately 5% over the same period. On Aug. 14, Bitcoin reached new a new high of $124,128.

It’s often echoed among crypto analysts that prices move opposite to what retail traders expect, and history suggests that when more people think the market has reached a bottom, it can actually signal further downside.

Market sentiment is slowly recovering, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index climbing back to a “Neutral” score of 48 out of 100 on Sunday, after dipping into “Fear” at 39 out of 100 the previous day.

Some traders are speculating that the crypto market’s pullback from Bitcoin’s recent highs could be a sign that the long-awaited altcoin season is approaching.

“Mega altseason” may be approaching, says trader

Crypto trader Ash Crypto pointed out in an X post on the same day that “Altcoins are now the most oversold ever.”

“Even during the Covid crash, FTX collapse or tariff wars, they weren’t this oversold,” the trader said, suggesting it could be a sign of a “mega altseason” similar to the big rallies of 2017 and 2021.

On Thursday, CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index shifted from “Bitcoin Season” to “Altcoin Season,” reaching a score of 60 out of 100 at the time of publication.

Meanwhile, crypto trader Ak47 said, with a “possible Fed rate cut and altcoin ETF approval this fall, the next rally could be huge.”

CME’s FedWatch Tool shows market participants see an 86.4% chance of the US Federal Reserve cutting interest rates for the first time this year in September, which is typically seen as a bullish signal for crypto as investors look for higher returns in riskier assets.

Japanese Gaming Giant Plans $17 Million XRP Buy, Here’s Why

by admin August 30, 2025

Gumi Inc., a prominent Japanese mobile game developer, has caught the attention of the broader crypto industry after revealing plans to buy $17 million worth of XRP. This move signals the gaming giant’s deeper commitment to blockchain technology, as it looks to tap into new revenue streams and strengthen its position through XRP in the growing digital economy.

Gumi Taps XRP To Expand Blockchain Business

On Friday, August 29, Gumi sparked fresh interest and excitement in the crypto community after announcing its intention to purchase 2.5 billion yen (around $17 million) worth of XRP. The move, revealed on X social media, is part of the Japanese gaming company’s broader strategy to accelerate the growth of its blockchain business.

According to Gumi, the acquisition is not simply an investment but a calculated step to integrate into the XRP ecosystem, which has been gaining momentum as a cornerstone in cross-border payments and liquidity solutions. The decision also aligns closely with the recent efforts of SBI Holdings, a financial services company in Japan and a prolonged supporter of Ripple and XRP.

SBI Holdings has long championed XRP as an essential component of international remittance networks, and Gumi’s entry adds further credibility to the digital asset’s role in the Japanese fintech landscape. By allocating significant capital into XRP, Gumi aims to position itself at the intersection of gaming, blockchain technology, and digital finance—ultimately tapping into an evolving global marketplace where cryptocurrencies are increasingly becoming interlinked with entertainment and financial services.

The broader crypto community has responded enthusiastically to Gumi’s upcoming XRP investment. Industry watchers see this as more than a simple token purchase, but a sign of Japan’s gaming sector’s embrace of blockchain-powered assets.

Enthusiasts like the ‘BankXRP’ on X anticipate that Gumi’s cryptocurrency integration could open the door for in-game transactions using fast and low-cost XRP transfers, creating a more seamless and innovative gaming experience. If implemented, this could establish the Japanese company as a pioneer in merging blockchain gaming mechanics with one of the most recognized digital assets in the space.

VivoPower To Offer New XRP Incentives

Further expanding on XRP’s adoption across various companies, another report on X shows that international battery and electric vehicle services provider VivoPower has rolled out an initiative to leverage the token to engage retail audiences. VivoPower announced on X on Thursday, August 28, that it will be offering XRP incentives to its shareholders through a partnership with crypto exchange Crypto.com.

The program allows VivoPower shareholders who register with the exchange to receive $100 worth of XRP as a bonus, adding a direct crypto-linked reward to their equity ownership. This collaboration signals a growing trend where non-crypto companies find ways to integrate digital assets into their corporate strategies.

For Crypto.com, the initiative represents a strategic opportunity to attract new users. At the same time, the XRP bonuses provide VivoPower with both an engagement tool and a way to strengthen its partnership with the exchange. Overall, this latest move underscores XRP’s expansion outside its traditional remittance use case.

Best Altcoins to Buy Now as Ripple CEO Predicts $25T Crypto Market by 2030

by admin August 30, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The total crypto market cap has grown by nearly 400% in the last three years, from $727B in October 2022 to a staggering $3.72T at the time of writing.

That kind of growth is unheard of in traditional stock market indices. But wait until you hear what Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse thinks is next for crypto.

Garlinghouse believes the crypto market could expand by another ~600% over the next five years, potentially reaching a $25T market cap by 2030.

Keep reading to discover why Ripple’s boss predicts such explosive growth for crypto, his insights on Ripple’s own token, $XRP, and how you can position yourself for this potentially outrageous rally by loading up on the best altcoins to buy now.

Why Fiat Instability Fuels the Case for Crypto

Garlinghouse cited the vulnerability of traditional fiat currencies as the biggest reason behind his extremely bullish crypto outlook.

He explained that macroeconomic pressures on fiat are all but certain to intensify in the coming years, which could push traditional currencies toward devaluation and long-term instability.

Amid such uncertainty, digital assets provide more than just hope; they’re built specifically to plug the holes in the global financial system, offering transparency, efficiency, and inflation-resistant store of value that fiat currencies simply can’t match.

XRP’s Role in Crypto’s Growth

As one of the biggest cryptocurrencies targeting the cross-border payments market, many believe $XRP could become one of the biggest success stories in the next few years.

Lord XRP, a crypto enthusiast with 77K+ X followers, explained that since XRP was designed to handle banking transactions (even in the range of 4-5 figures), Ripple is well on its way to becoming a ‘world bank.’

All in all, with prominent industry voices bullish on crypto’s long-term growth, everyday investors will fare extremely well if they simply exercise patience during slightly deeper consolidations like the one we’re seeing now.

In fact, now’s the perfect time to beef up your crypto portfolio with low-cap, high-upside tokens that are well-positioned to ride the upcoming boom.

1. Snorter Token ($SNORT) – Powering a Telegram Trading Bot for Meme Coin Sniping

Snorter Token ($SNORT) is one of the best cryptos to buy now for those looking to ride the explosive growth of the meme coin market.

While altcoins continue to dominate crypto discussions, the meme coin segment alone has grown by more than 70% in the past year, proving there’s so much more juice in it than many realize.

$SNORT powers the Snorter Bot, a new Telegram-native trading bot designed to level the playing field between institutional players and everyday meme coin traders.

How? By allowing retail investors to set buy/sell orders in advance, and then automatically executing them the moment liquidity kicks in.

As a result, you’ll finally get the chance to participate in those early meme coin pumps, where life-changing gains are usually made.

Security is another standout. Snorter offers protection against a wide range of on-chain threats, including front-running, rug pulls, honeypots, and even advanced sandwich attacks.

By buying $SNORT, you’re positioning yourself to ride the adoption of Snorter Bot while unlocking a slew of exclusive benefits along the way:

  • A potential 800% ROI by year-end, according to our $SNORT price prediction
  • Reduced trading fees: just 0.85% compared to 1.50% charged to non-holders
  • No daily sniping limits
  • Advanced analytics
  • Staking rewards, currently yielding 128%

Currently in presale, $SNORT has already pulled in over $3.55M from early investors, with each token available at just $0.1027.

Visit Snorter Token’s official website for more information.

2. Maxi Doge ($MAXI) – Community-Backed Meme Coin Aiming to Overtake Dogecoin

Maxi Doge ($MAXI) might not have a shiny whitepaper or game-changing technology, but its absurd mission to overthrow Dogecoin as the best meme coin on the planet has already gathered plenty of hype and community support.

The project has raised over $1.66M in early investor funding, proving that degen investors are hungry for a wild, rage-fueled meme coin.

What’s Maxi Doge, really? Believe it or not, Maxi is Dogecoin’s distant cousin. But the two are anything but close.

Dogecoin’s popularity left Maxi in the shadows growing up, as the elder, more ‘wholesome’ Shiba Inu hogged all the limelight at family gatherings.

That’s when Maxi found solace in the gym and in front of the charts, where he built big muscles and chased even bigger gains.

Now, backed by a fierce community of $MAXI holders who all subscribe to his mantra of ‘never skip leg day, never skip a pump’, the dawg is ready to take the market by storm.

In addition to allocating a chunky 40% of its total token supply to marketing, $MAXI will also host regular holder-only events, including weekly trading competitions and leaderboard prizes, all aimed at amplifying the noise around it.

Interested? Join the tribe by buying $MAXI at just $0.0002545 apiece. Hurry up, though, because the price will increase in just a few hours.

Check out Maxi Doge’s official website for more information.

3. Ethereum ($ETH) – Digital Silver Prepping for a Fresh Breakout

Ethereum ($ETH) has undoubtedly been the talk of the crypto town over the past two weeks, with whales pouring big money into the ‘digital silver.’

For instance, BlackRock recently snapped up more than $314M worth of Ethereum, while Goldman Sachs and Jane Street grabbed a combined 192.5K $ETH.

More notably, Thomas Lee, a significant voice in the crypto space, explained that while Wall Street once dismissed Ethereum for being slower than Solana or Sui, institutions are now betting big on it because of its ability to deliver 100% uptime – something non-negotiable for big-money players.

‘If ETH stays above $4,800, we could see a really big cycle,’ Lee added.

That prediction looks even stronger when you consider that a massive $4.65B worth of shorts would be liquidated if Ethereum retests its all-time high.

Although $ETH has been red all week, the drop isn’t as bad as it looks – because its weekly candle remains within last week’s range.

According to the technical playbook, this forms a classic ‘inside candle’ pattern, and a breakout here could trigger an explosive rally.

Wrapping Up

With Ripple’s CEO projecting a nearly tenfold increase in crypto’s valuation by 2030, the stage is set for promising altcoins like $SNORT, $MAXI, and $ETH to shine in the upcoming bull run.

That said, kindly bear in mind that crypto investments are highly risky. Also, none of the above is financial advice, and you must always do your own research before investing.
