by admin September 26, 2025

It’s been a long wait, but Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 finally launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 21. Those eager to preorder the long-awaited follow-up to the immersive RPG from 2004 can grab one of the multiple physical and digital editions available now–including a $60 physical edition on PS5 and Xbox. The game is available at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. Preordering the game even unlocks a fun bit of bonus content that fans of the original Bloodlines will enjoy.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Preorder Bonuses

Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox

Preorder any version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 to unlock the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox. This in-game item unlocks original music from the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines soundtrack composed Rik Schaffer. It’s not much, but it’s a fun extra for long-time fans of the series.

$60 | Releases October 21

The Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 standard edition is the only physical edition of the game available. It includes the base game, plus the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox if you preorder before October 21. You can preorder physical PS5 and Xbox Series X copies for $60 at Walmart and Best Buy. Digital preorders are also available on consoles and PC.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Deluxe Edition

$70 | Releases October 21

While the standard edition is the only physical version of the game, there are also multiple digital editions available that add additional in-game content. The first is the $70 Deluxe Edition, which has the base game and the Santa Monica Memoris DLC pack. The pack contains extra decoration items you can add to your in-game home, including:

  • Ankaran Sarcophagus
  • Neon Clan sign
  • Stop Sign
  • Voerman Sister Portrait

You can preorder the Deluxe Edition at the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam. For those who purchased the standard edition, you can also purchase the Santa Monica Memories pack separately for $12.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Premium Edition

$90 | Releases October 21

There’s also a $90 Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Premium Edition available digitally on all platforms. This version of the game includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus an Expansion Pass that will grant players access to the upcoming Loose Canon and The Flower & The Flame story DLC packs launching in 2026.

Preorders are available at the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam. The Expansion DLC will also be available as a separate purchase for those who pick up one of the other versions.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 takes place in Seattle, with you stepping into the shoes of an elder vampire. You’ll get to join one of several clans in the region, before diving into a sprawling open world that gives you countless ways to forge your own story. Combat relies on both physical prowess and deadly vampiric powers–though finesse and talking your way through encounters is also a possibility in some scenarios.

If you’re itching to dive back into the Vampire: The Masquerade universe, you have plenty of time to play through the most recent release in the series, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. The narrative RPG is quite different from the upcoming Bloodlines 2, but it offers a unique storyline in the gothic horror world, and is available for cheap on most platforms.

$55 | Releases December 2

Though it won’t arrive until December, this hardcover book looks like it’ll be an excellent companion to the long-awaited video game. At over 200 pages, it provides a look at the game’s development, artwork, and overarching vision for its sprawling narrative. It’s a massive book (literally), and with dimensions of 12 inches by 9 inches, it could make a cool centerpiece for your game room or bookcase.

Published by Dark Horse Books, The Art of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is all but guaranteed to be high quality. So beyond developer commentary, concept art, and all sorts of Bloodlines 2 goodies, you’re getting a premium book that should be every bit as luxurious as its $55 suggests. Preordering at Amazon means you won’t be charged until the item ships, and you’ll be eligible for any discounts that may occur ahead of its release.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is official, and it’s out next year with a bonus new spinoff game

by admin September 24, 2025

Following Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios accidentally leaking the game’s existence last week, Yakuza Kiwami 3 has been officially announced by the developer during its RGG Summit presentation. Like Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 before it, Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a full remake of an early entry in the long-running series, in this case 2009’s Yakuza 3, which originally launched on the PlayStation 3.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is another ground-up remake from RGG, featuring modern graphics, enhanced gameplay and new cutscenes. The game continues the adventures of the (at this point in the story) middle-aged Kazuma Kiryu, who temporarily puts his criminal career on hold to help run an orphanage that will become very important in later entries in the series. Yakuza Kiwami 3 is also bundled with a free spinoff game called Dark Ties, which focuses on Kiryu’s adversary, Yoshitaka Mine.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties will be released on February 12, 2026, for PS4 and PS5, Xbox and PC (Steam), as well as the Switch 2. Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are both coming to Switch 2 later this year, and RGG has also announced that Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is coming to PS5, Xbox and PC on December 8. The expanded version of what many consider to be the best Yakuza game of all time has been a Switch 2 exclusive until now.

This week’s RGG Summit also gave us a brief update on the studio’s next game, Stranger Than Heaven, which we still know very little about, other than that it’s separate from the Like a Dragon and Judgement series and is set during multiple time periods in the 20th century. The game is still several years away from release, but a new behind the scenes trailer shows off snippets of in-game footage and motion capture sessions with actors.

At the time of writing, we’re still waiting for an announcement of the next Like a Dragon game, with the most recent entry being this year’s wonderfully titled Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

by admin September 15, 2025

Activision recently announced that the T.E.D.D. operator in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Vault Edition bundle would receive a new makeover, and now the publisher has revealed two more operators in the pack have also received visual adjustments. Additionally, a bonus T.E.D.D. skin has been added to the Vault Edition.

Black Ops 7’s Vault Edition is $100, and it includes early access to the upcoming multiplayer beta, a four-pack of operators, as well as other cosmetic content. The four operators in the pack include T.E.D.D., Karma, Harper, and Reaper EWR-3.

Now Playing: Call of Duty Black Ops 7: First Impressions

The T.E.D.D. operator now looks less human and more like the robot originally featured in Black Ops 2’s Zombies mode. The flesh has melted off his face to show more of his robotic features. The bonus T.E.D.D. skin added to the Vault Edition bundle will look more like the original Black Ops 7 design that was announced, but Activision says it does have some minor changes.

Redesigned Vault operators

For Karma, her holographic plates and visor have been adjusted. This redesign shows more of her face than the original version. Harper’s operator skin also has slight adjustments with armor now recolored and looking more streamlined. The only operator who didn’t receive a change is Reaper EWR-3.

The operators’ new looks can be seen in the image above. A more detailed 360-degree-look at the skins can be seen in the videos shared on Call of Duty’s blog.

Activision says these changes were made as part of Call of Duty’s commitment to the “authentic look and feel of Black Ops 7,” and after receiving community feedback specifically related to the Black Ops 7 Vault Edition operators.

The publisher recently made changes to Call of Duty’s Carry Forward program, allowing only specific skins and items to transfer from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7. This will include some of the Zombies-themed skins players earned by completing the main story quests, but wacky skins like Ninja Turtles and Beavis and Butt-Head won’t carry over.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. More details and gameplay will be revealed during Activision’s Call of Duty: Next event on September 30. You can find highlights of all major Black Ops 7 announcements here, which includes details on the campaign, a massive round-based Zombies map, and a futuristic multiplayer.
