Resident Evil Requiem Arrives Day-On On Switch 2 And Looks Great

by admin September 13, 2025

The rumors were true. Capcom’s blockbuster horror series is finding a new home on Switch 2. Not only will Resident Evil Requiem be a day-one release on Nintendo’s portable console in February 2026, but Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village will be joining it as a collection on the same day.

The Switch 2 trailer opened with FBI agent Grace Ashcroft investigating a series of murders in a spooky hotel amid one jumpscare after another. The footage appeared to be taken from a Switch 2 though the trailer didn’t immediately confirm that. If that’s the case, the ninth mainline Resident Evil isn’t looking too shabby on the weaker hardware.

Requiem is out February 27, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC as well. That’s also the day that some older Resident Evil games will finally make their way to Nintendo’s platform. Gold editions of Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village will both arrive then as well.

These unexpected Resident Evil ports were rumored prior to today’s Nintendo Direct, with leakers suggesting the rest of the modern Resident Evil series, including remakes of 3 and 4 as well as Resident Evil Village, will arrive on Switch 2 eventually as well.

While not confirmed, that fact that Capcom seems to be having so much success getting RE Engine games running on the new console is a good sign that we could see some of Capcom’s other blockbusters arrive on it, including maybe Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds. The latter is still in rough shape even on PC, though, so we’ll have to wait and see.

by admin September 7, 2025

  • First spot SOL ETF with staking kicks off in Kazakhstan

SOL Strategies, a publicly-traded Canadian company unlocking opportunities for getting the exposure to the Solana (SOL) ecosystem without holding or staking SOL, shared details of its upcoming launch on NASDAQ.

SOL Strategies officially goes public in U.S., STKE trading commences Sept. 9

According to an official statement by its team, SOL Strategies, a publicly-traded company focused on introducing the Solana (SOL) ecosystem to TradFi, will come to NASDAQ. The company’s shares will be listed under the STKE ticker.

1/ 🚨Major Milestone Alert!

SOL Strategies approved for @NasdaqExchange Global Select Market listing under the ticker “STKE” and trading will commence on Tuesday, September 9, 2025!

— SOL Strategies (@solstrategies_) September 5, 2025

SOL Strategies’ STKE shares will be available on NASDAQ from the trading session opening Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025.

The company’s shares will still be available on Canadian Securities Exchange (“CSE”) under the symbol “HODL.” At the same time, the company will sunset trading of its CYFRF shares on the over-the-counter market OTCQB. All such shares will be automatically converted to NASDAQ’s ones.

Introducing the new listing to investors and the community, SOL Strategies CEO Leah Wald expands on why this listing is important to the entire Solana (SOL) scene:

This Nasdaq listing represents more than just an achievement for SOL Strategies, it’s validation for the entire Solana ecosystem. As a leading Solana-focused company to reach this milestone, we’re proud to demonstrate the institutional quality and growth potential that exists within this high-performance blockchain ecosystem. Our listing opens new pathways for institutional capital to access Solana infrastructure through regulated and transparent markets

The company expects the NASDAQ listing to accelerate validator growth through institutional partnerships and cement SOL Strategies’ position as a gateway to Solana’s segment for TradFi liquidity.

First spot SOL ETF with staking kicks off in Kazakhstan

Formerly known as Cypherpunk Holdings, SOL Strategies has been active in the crypto treasuries segment since 2019. The company went all in on Solana in 2024 after a profound rebranding, but still holds 23 BTC on its balance as per Bitcoin Treasuries.

The interest in SOL-based institutional solutions is accelerating across the globe. Yesterday, Sept. 5, 2025, the first-ever Solana ETF with staking went live in crypto-friendly Kazakhstan.

The first spot SOL ETF with staking in Central Asia is now live in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🔔

First Light Arrives March 2026 With $300 Golden Gun Edition

by admin September 4, 2025

007: First Light, the next game from the development studio behind Hitman, is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC in March 2026, as revealed during Sony’s latest State of Play.

On September 3, as previously announced, Sony and IO Interactive showed off over 30 minutes of 007: First Light, giving us our first real look at gameplay following some teasers and trailers. And at the end of the showcase—which featured Bond sneaking around, killing people, driving various vehicles, and causing mayhem—IOI revealed that First Light is launching on March 27, 2026 on all platforms.

Here’s a new gameplay trailer of Bond in action:

Of course, because in the year 2025, all games must have expensive pre-order versions and early access bonuses, if you pre-order any version of the game digitally, you get to play 24 hours “early.” What is more shocking is the $300 special collector’s edition of 007: First Light. This pricey package includes a physical copy of the game, some digital goodies, and a replica Golden Gun, as well as gold bullets and a stand to display them with. Seems a bit odd to include such a classic Bond prop in a game that, seemingly, has nothing to do with that era of the franchise, but hey, what do I know?

First announced back in 2020, 007: First Light is the long-awaited next game from IO Interactive, and it tells the tale of a younger James Bond as he completes some of his first missions. It’s been a long five-year wait for fans of Hitman who are hoping that First Light will play a lot like Agent 47’s franchise. In today’s State of Play reveal, it did indeed seem like this is very much a Hitman-style game, with multiple options for infiltrating areas and a big focus on stealth and problem-solving. However, the gameplay in the presentation also had moments that were marred by some nasty performance dips and a lot of motion blur. Hopefully, 007: First Light looks better and runs well when it arrives on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 27, 2026.

The first premium handheld from Ayaneo’s budget brand arrives in September

by admin August 24, 2025

Known for its premium handhelds that often go for more than $1,000, Ayaneo announced a higher-end version of the first handheld to release under its more affordable sub-brand called KONKR. Ayaneo revealed the new Android gaming handheld, called the Pocket Fit Elite, in a YouTube video that detailed most of its specs.

The Pocket Fit Elite will be built with a six-inch 1080p display that has a 144Hz refresh rate, an 8,000 mAh battery, and Hall effect joysticks and triggers. However, Ayaneo didn’t confirm what processor it will use for the Pocket Fit Elite, whose name could be a nod towards the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. We’re expecting a more powerful chip than the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3, which Ayaneo said will be used for the Pocket Fit base model that was announced in July. Looking at the two models, the unrevealed processor for the Pocket Fit Elite will be the main difference.

Unlike the Ayaneo 3 and its $1,399 starting price, the Pocket Fit Elite will start at less than $399, while the Pocket Fit will be even cheaper with a sub-$329 starting price. Ayaneo said in its latest YouTube video that it’s in the final preparation stage for the Pocket Fit launch, which will be sometime in September.
