This Roborock Q7 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop Drops to Near-Free Price Thanks to Almost 50% Off on Amazon

by admin June 14, 2025

Tired of vacuuming your house? You and us both. It’s just not a fun task, no matter how you slice it. And it’s a thankless one. The end result is fine, sure, because you get floors that are clean. But who wants to keep taking time out of their day to clean? Couldn’t be us. If your floors are constantly covered in pet hair, crumbs, or tracked-in dirt, the idea of a robot vacuum doing the heavy lifting while you kick back (or, let’s be real, tackle a million other things) is pretty appealing. That goes double if you can get a vacuum hat can also mop, too. So if you’ve got it in your sights, why not try this one that’s on sale at Amazon?

See at Amazon

Check out Amazon to get the Roborock Q7 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop for just $160, down from its usual price of $300. That’s $140 off and a discount of 47%. And no telling how much it’ll help your peace of mind to stop having to do all these crazy cleanings when you can have a bot do it instead.

Scrub and mop your heart out with this robot vacuum

This vacuum boasts 4200Pa of suction power, which is enough to pick up everything from fine dust to stubborn debris embedded in carpets. It’s ideal for households with pets, kids, or just a lot of foot traffic. It can also find its way around your house with ease thanks to LiDAR mapping. It learns your home’s layout quickly and avoids obstacles without your input. You can customize cleaning schedules, create virtual boundaries, and even designate specific rooms for it to focus on, all from the app.

And it doesn’t stop at vacuuming. This vacuum combo also includes a built-in mop, which adds an extra layer of cleaning on hard floors. While it’s not going to replace your deepest scrubbing sessions, it’s perfect for light daily maintenance. It’s also good for wiping up small spills or keeping grime at bay in high-traffic areas.

One full charge gives it enough juice to clean most mid-sized homes in one go, and it automatically returns to its dock when the battery runs low. The Q7 Max doesn’t include a self-emptying dock, but at this price, the cleaning power and smart features more than make up for it.

Stop holding out for a robot vacuum and mop and go ahead and lock in. This one is just $160 (-47%), and you know you spent that much on your last Shein haul. But don’t wait, because it won’t stick around for long at this price.

24 Amazon Prime Perks You Might Not Be Using (2025)

by admin June 14, 2025

It’s common knowledge that a Prime membership gets you free two-day shipping. But there are Amazon Prime perks that make the service more worthwhile—and considering the cost of a yearly membership, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you aren’t taking advantage of all of them. Below, we’ve listed some of the perks you should be using as an Amazon Prime member. Arguably, these incentives alone aren’t worth the cost of a membership, but chances are at least one of them will come in handy.

Amazon has had more than its fair share of debacles over the years. Still, there are more than 200 million Prime members around the world, with over 180 million members in the United States. Some sources report as many as 220 million members globally. If you’re one of them, these perks are worth checking out—especially during the retailer’s member-exclusive Prime Day sales events, which usually fall during July and October.

Updated June 2025: We’ve ensured coverage is accurate, removing old benefits and adding new information on Alexa+ and fuel savings.

What’s Amazon Prime, and How Much Does It Cost?

Amazon Prime is a premium membership to Amazon.com. If you’re a brand-new member, you can try it free for 30 days. This trial automatically renews, so set a reminder on your phone to reassess and make sure you cancel, if that’s your plan.

Amazon Prime costs $139 per year. You can pay $15 per month instead, but that raises the cost of the membership to $180 per year. You’ll save more money by paying once. Eighteen- to 24-year-olds can get Prime for Young Adults (formerly Prime Student), which is $69 annually or $7 per month, and there’s a longer six-month free trial before you have to start paying.

Finally, some customers are eligible for Prime Access, a discounted Prime membership. If you verify that you receive qualifying SNAP benefits or other government assistance, you can get Amazon Prime for $7 per month.

Basic Amazon Prime Benefits

Prime members are eligible for free next-day shipping on millions of items and free two-day shipping on millions more. Depending on where you live, you may also be eligible for free same-day delivery or free Amazon Locker pickup. Other Amazon-owned stores also offer free shipping to Prime members, including ShopBop, Woot, and Zappos.

Prime members get free (and commercial-free) Prime Music streaming, which pulls playlists and podcasts from a selection of 100 million songs and serves them ad-free. Members are also eligible for discounted subscriptions to Amazon Music Unlimited, a separate pick-and-play service like Apple Music or Spotify that offers on-demand access to 70 million songs. Normally it costs $11 per month, but Prime members can get it for $10 monthly.

Prime Video is also included with your membership. There are some killer originals, like Fallout and The Boys in addition to other movies and shows. You can also stream sports on Prime Video, including NFL Thursday Night Football. Purchased separately, Prime Video costs $9 per month. Note that these plans are with commercials. If you’re a Prime member and you want to go ad-free, it’ll cost another $3 per month.

Prime Day

Finally, we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about Amazon’s members-only event, Prime Day. The annual “holiday” has outperformed both Black Friday and Cyber Monday in years past, but not every Prime Day deal is actually a bargain. The WIRED Gear team always covers the event to make good deals easier to find—our coverage is unique in that we only write about deals on products we have personally tested and can verify are great buys rather than flooding our roundups with questionable random brands. This year, we anticipate that (like years past) Prime Day will arrive in the middle of July, with a secondary sale arriving in October. Early Prime Day deals are usually available in the days leading up to the sale, and we’ll be covering the best of the best deals.

Exclusive Deals

Even outside of Prime Day, Amazon Prime members are eligible for special members-only discounts. That might mean a few bucks off your portable charger purchase, a 20 percent–off coupon to use on cleaning supplies, or better prices on new Amazon devices. Individual discounts vary, but we see these sorts of promotions pretty frequently—and, as with Prime Day, not all of them are good.

Early-Access Lightning Deals

Both during and outside of special events like Prime Day and Black Friday, Prime members get early access to select Lightning Deals. You will be able to shop 30 minutes before other customers. Whether Lightning Deals are worth your money is another discussion entirely, but it’s a perk worth checking out.

Amazon Day

Overwhelmed by the sheer number of boxes at your door? (Honestly, as a product reviewer, same.) Amazon Day lets you schedule all of your deliveries to arrive on a certain day of the week. Rather than dealing with a box or two at a time on multiple days, you can get one package with all of your orders on whichever day you prefer. If you use Amazon Day, you aren’t locked in. That means if you’re ordering something you need quickly, you can still opt for the fastest shipping method. Amazon Day is a good way to cut back on cardboard (and your carbon footprint).

No-Rush Rewards

If you don’t need your order to arrive right away, sometimes at checkout you’ll see the option for free No-Rush Shipping. Usually, choosing No-Rush Shipping gets you a free $1 digital credit to use on things like ebooks, digital games, movies, and the like. The rewards sometimes expire after a certain duration. I’ve used No-Rush credits to get as much as $10 off digital games on release day. Since video game discounts are rare, especially right after release, this can be lucrative if you time it correctly (and don’t mind waiting for your purchases to arrive).

Alexa+

Prime members will get free access to Alexa+. Alexa+ is the new version of Amazon’s voice assistant. It uses generative AI and will cost $20 per month to non-Prime members when it leaves Early Access. Amazon says you’ll be able to talk naturally, phrase requests how you like, receive tailored recommendations based on your preferences, create bedtime stories, and more.

Grubhub+

Amazon Prime members get free access to Grubhub+, which includes free delivery on orders over $12, plus an assortment of Prime-exclusive discounts at various restaurants throughout the year.

Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, and Amazon Grocery

Amazon Fresh lets you order groceries via Amazon and get them delivered to your door. It’s not available in all areas, but it is a different way to shop if you’re trying to avoid in-person trips. You also get a selection of products from Whole Foods available through Amazon Fresh. Somewhat confusingly, there are similarly named physical Amazon Fresh grocery stores in some cities. If you’re shopping at Whole Foods in person, you can scan the smartphone app to get an extra 10 percent off storewide sales, and there are other member-discounts available throughout the year.

There’s a separate Amazon Grocery subscription that costs $10 a month or $99 a year. If you have SNAP or EBT benefits, you can get 50 percent off. This subscription gets you unlimited free grocery delivery on orders over $35 or more from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and local retailers.

Amazon Family

For families, Amazon Family is a good way to share benefits between multiple people. You can share membership perks with two adults, four teens (ages 13-17), and four children. Parents can use Amazon Household to approve teens’ orders or set up parental controls on kids’ content.

Amazon First Reads

Each month, Prime members can benefit from Amazon First Reads. You’ll get at least one Kindle book from the selection for free. Nonmembers can get their two books for $2 apiece. As a reminder, you can read Kindle books even if you don’t have a Kindle device, thanks to the free app available for phones and computers. We also have a buying guide to help you pick the right Kindle.

Prime Reading

In addition to First Reads, Prime members get access to tons of Kindle books via Prime Reading. There are more than a thousand items to choose from. Aside from books, you can access audiobooks and magazines, plus comics via Comixology.

Prime Gaming

Every month, Prime members are eligible for various rewards via Prime Gaming (formerly known as Twitch Prime). This includes in-game loot in a variety of popular games, free game downloads, free downloadable content (DLC) and expansions, and more. You also get a free Twitch subscription—which sounds like you can watch Twitch for free, but “Twitch subs” are actually subscriptions to individual Twitch streamers, and they normally cost money. With the free subscription you get from Amazon Prime, you can support channels you enjoy—creators make some money off the subscription, but it won’t cost you anything extra.

$10 off Game Preorders

This discount used to be much better, but it’s still worth looking into if you are in the market for a new video game. Occasionally, Prime members can receive $10 off when they preorder a game. Eligible titles show up here when they’re available. Some video games also have free Release Date Delivery—just look for that shipping option when preordering a game.

Unlimited Online Photo Storage

Prime members get access to unlimited full-resolution photo storage, and 5 gigabytes of video storage as well. You can store, print, and share photos using the Amazon Photos app and back everything up to the cloud. (Printing is done through Shutterfly, where Prime members get a 45 percent discount.) If your account ever loses Prime status, you’ll need to pay at least $2 per month to keep storing your photos and videos, so this shouldn’t be your primary backup method. You might want to consider using one of these options as well.

Discounted Amazon Kids+

Amazon Kids+ (formerly FreeTime Unlimited) is Amazon’s content service for kids. The service is compatible with several iOS, Android, and Amazon devices, like Fire Tablets. It essentially provides a bevy of parental controls while giving kiddos access to age-appropriate shows, books, games, and the like. Kids+ costs $8 per month, but Prime members can snag the subscription for $6 per month (or $79 and $48 per year, respectively).

Fuel Savings

By linking your Amazon Prime account to Earnify, a loyalty app owned by BP and Amoco, you can save at least 10 cents per gallon on fuel at over 7,500 participating gas stations locations.

Additional Perks for Specific Customers

Expecting a new addition to your family? Select Prime members can claim a free Baby Registry Welcome Box by creating a registry that has at least 10 unique items and $10 worth of purchases (by themselves or others). Learn more here.

Prime RX offers select customers discounts on prescription medication. It’s a prescription savings card that can be used at pharmacies nationwide, including Amazon Pharmacy. These savings programs are nothing new—one similar program is GoodRx—and one may argue that giving Amazon information about your medications adds another layer to privacy concerns. However, the benefit is free if you do decide to use it, and it may be worth checking out if you pay a lot out-of-pocket for prescription medication.

Amazon Key offers select Prime members in-garage delivery. If you live in an eligible area, and you’re interested, you’ll need to purchase and install a smart garage kit. Amazon Key previously offered in-home delivery, but it’s currently on pause. (Of course, this also comes with a slew of privacy concerns.)

There are three different Amazon credit cards. These come in the form of rewards back for Prime members on select purchases or at select retailers. You don’t need to get an Amazon credit card; we encourage you to read through all of the available information and carefully consider it before deciding whether or not to get one.

Power up with unlimited access to WIRED. Get best-in-class reporting that’s too important to ignore for just $2.50 $1 per month for 1 year. Includes unlimited digital access and exclusive subscriber-only content. Subscribe Today.

Elizabeth Warren, Consumer Groups Slam Walmart and Amazon Stablecoin Plans

by admin June 13, 2025

In brief

  • Senator Elizabeth Warren and consumer advocacy groups denounced a report detailing plans by major retailers including Amazon and Walmart to potentially issue their own stablecoins.
  • The GENIUS Act, a stablecoin bill in the Senate, would as written allow major corporations to issue their own dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies.
  • Senate Democrats and select Republicans have warned this development could give major tech companies too much power.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and leading consumer advocacy groups denounced a report Friday that Amazon and Walmart are considering issuing their own stablecoins, framing such developments as an unacceptable outcome of pending stablecoin legislation in the Senate.

“Let’s not forget the GENIUS Act has a major loophole allowing Big Tech companies and major retailers to issue their own private currencies structured as stablecoins,” Warren said Friday in a statement shared with Decrypt. “If Congress doesn’t fix it, billionaires like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg could launch stablecoins that track your purchases, exploit your data, and squeeze out competitors.”

“Then they’ll come begging for a bailout when it inevitably blows up,” Warren continued. “The GENIUS Act shouldn’t pass without preventing these risks.”

Amazon and other major merchants including Walmart and Expedia are mulling issuing their own stablecoins should the GENIUS Act imminently pass, a Wall Street Journal report revealed Friday. A spokesperson for Warren told Decrypt the senator, who is the Ranking Member on the Senate Banking Committee, denounces such plans.

Amazon, Walmart, and Expedia did not immediately respond to Decrypt’s requests for comment on this story.

The GENIUS Act, which could pass a final vote in the Senate as soon as next week, would for the first time create a legal framework for issuing stablecoins in the United States.

Stablecoins are crypto tokens generally pegged to the U.S. dollar that allow holders to enter and exit crypto positions without accessing dollars directly. They are, for that reason, a key connector between crypto and traditional financial markets.

Should the bill become law, numerous sectors have expressed interest in adopting or issuing stablecoins, including Big Tech firms and merchants. The motivations for doing so are diverse: tech companies could use stablecoins to gather key financial data about their customers’ spending habits, and merchants could use them to dodge traditional payment processors that charge them billions of dollars in fees every year.

Further, any issuer of a stablecoin could earn passive yield on their customers’ deposits, creating an incentive for most traditional finance players to enter the sector. Wall Street financial market infrastructure giant DTCC, for example—which processes U.S. stock trades—is currently exploring “the potential of issuing a DTCC stablecoin” for use in financial transactions, a company representative confirmed to Decrypt. The company’s stablecoin plans were first reported by The Information.

Last month, the GENIUS Act’s odds of passage were nearly derailed by Democratic opposition, which focused, among other subjects, on the bill’s potential to allow America’s largest tech corporations to create their own private currencies. Democrats did succeed in adding new language to the bill on the subject, but the legislation would still allow giant tech companies to issue stablecoins—and collect customers’ financial data from them—under easily met conditions.

“Alllowing the tech industry to issue private money will amplify financial stability risks,” Corey Frayer, director of investor protection at the Consumer Federation of America, told Decrypt. “The danger of a small set of corporations having immense power over consumers and the broader economy is why we separated banking from commercial ventures in the first place.”

“How can any independent business compete when the big guys are running unregulated bank side-hustles?” Amanda Fischer, policy director at consumer advocacy nonprofit Better Markets, wrote Friday on X.

3. Amazon/Walmart have outsized influence on vendors. Imagine you’re an independent seller, & now your revenue MUST be accepted in Amazon dollars. Maybe you have to pay an exchange fee to convert to $ or maybe Amazon punishes you on search results if you don’t maintain a balance

— Amanda Fischer (@amandalfischer) June 13, 2025

The GENIUS Act is currently in its final stretch of procedural hurdles, and is widely expected to pass early next week, given key Democrats have come back aboard the legislation. It would then need to pass the House before heading to President Donald Trump’s desk for signature.

“The growing interest of major traditional companies in stablecoins signals that stablecoins—and blockchain-based financial infrastructure more broadly—are gaining serious traction beyond the crypto-native ecosystem,” Blockchain Association Policy and Legislative Analysis Manager Salah Ghazzal told Decrypt. “This marks a broader shift in how industries view the potential of digital assets, not just as speculative tools but as foundational infrastructure. Momentum like this adds urgency to getting stablecoin legislation passed.”

Though Republicans have eagerly pushed to get the bill passed, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) recently came out against it, in a rare intraparty rebuke of the high-priority legislation.

“It’s a huge giveaway to Big Tech,” Hawley told the New York Times last week. “It allows these tech companies to issue stablecoins without any kind of controls. I don’t see why we would do that.”

HP G5 11-in-1 Dock Just Hit Almost 55% Off, Listed as an Amazon Best Seller at Its Lowest Price Ever

by admin June 13, 2025

There are lots of things that we’d like to improve about our laptops and computers. Memory is a big one for a lot of us, and so is general performance. However, one that’s a little easier to overlook and forget about is the number of USB ports you’ve got. You don’t have to suffer through that though, you can just buy more if you know how.

See at Amazon

There are a few devices that’ll do that for you, but a really good one is this HP USB-C Dock, which can turn one USB-C port into 11 different ports, making it really easy to use more accessories. This means you can do more creative tasks, add more webcams, or just fill them with play-dough if you want to. Don’t do that though. Anyway, this awesome device is currently 54% off, which means it’s down to just $105 at the moment.

More USB Slots With Ease

This device is incredibly easy to use, and it’s highly compatible. In essence, as long as you’ve got a Thunderbolt-enabled device, you can plug it into a USB port and you’ll immediately add a huge number of extra slots to whatever you’re using it with. You get not only extra USB ports, but also two DisplayPorts, one HDMI port, and one gigabit Ethernet port as well. You get all of that from a device that’s just 5 inches by 5 inches too, which means it’ll work whether you’ve got limited desk space, or you’re using it on the go while you commute.

This is pretty much the perfect device for anyone who commutes but needs more ports, or those who want more things attached to their PC but can’t afford a proper upgrade for whatever reason. It’s just really convenient, and it also makes these ports a lot easier to get to than they are normally. After all, we’ve all suffered at the hands of the USB ports on the back of our PC at some point, right? Well, with this thing plugged in, you don’t have to deal with that, you can access a bunch of essential ports on your desk without having to get a load of dust and all the random things your cats drag around on you.

We’d recommend acting quickly if you’re hoping to get your hands on this though, as we’re not expecting the 54% discount to last very long. That means the price will go up from the $105 sale price back to the normal $230 price if you wait too long.

Amazon and Walmart Exploring Issuing Cryptocurrencies

by admin June 13, 2025

According to a Friday report by the Wall Street Journal, Amazon and Walmart are considering issuing their own dollar-backed cryptocurrencies.

This would allow the American merchant powerhouses to potentially save billions in fees and speed up settlements by bypassing traditional payment systems.

For now, such plans are only in exploratory stages, but they show that crypto finally has a mainstream use case.

As reported by U.Today, Apple, Airbnb, and several other tech giants are also exploring corporate stablecoins.

Traditional financial institutions such as Bank of America and Fidelity are also preparing to join the trend.

These moves come amid the impressive growth of the stablecoin sector and a rapidly improving regulatory environment.

As reported by U.Today, the GENIUS Act, which is meant to regulate the stablecoin sector, advanced in the US Senate earlier this week. The final vote has been scheduled for June 17.

Standard Chartered recently estimated that the stablecoin market could swell to a whopping $2 trillion in just three years.

How to Avoid Scams and Shoddy Wares on Amazon (2025)

How to Avoid Scams and Shoddy Wares on Amazon (2025)

by admin June 12, 2025

Step 2: Amazon’s search should choose the right Department automatically, but if needed, you can navigate to the top of the left rail and click on a Department that fits.

Step 3: Once the page refreshes, scroll to the bottom of the left rail and choose “Amazon.com” as your Seller.

Step 4: Now you will only see “Pixel 8A” products sold directly by Amazon.com.

If you still don’t see “Amazon.com” as a seller, try hitting the “See More” button. It will bring up a dense but readable alphabetical page of sellers. If Amazon is one of those sellers, it will show up in the list. You can use CTRL+F (Command+F on Mac) to search for the word “Amazon.com.” Sometimes you’ll see “Amazon Warehouse,” but that only sells used and refurbished items.

Avoid Fake Discounts

When people see that a product they like is on sale, a little wave of excitement washes over them. Instead of thinking about how much we’re spending, we start to think about how much we’re saving. Coupons and discounts exist because they create a sense of urgency that causes many people to buy things they normally wouldn’t. Some sellers abuse that pricing power. There are a lot of products on Amazon that are endlessly on “sale” and that makes it hard to know if you’re getting an actual bargain.

Luckily, there’s an easy way to check. Just copy the URL and paste it into CamelCamelCamel. You’ll get a page with a graph on it showing every price fluctuation in the past year. A lot of products have deceptive sale prices like this, to varying degrees. Knowing what the actual going rate is for a product puts you in charge.

Alternatively, the Keepa extension for Chrome will add a similar box right into Amazon.com pages for you, though it does try and get you to register for free, and it might slow your browsing down.

Photograph: Louryn Strampe

Tools like Keepa and CamelCamelCamel may also help you determine the best time to buy an item. Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max, for instance, consistently fluctuates between its normal $60 price down to $40, like it is now. And that all-time-low includes special sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, meaning you (probably) don’t need to wait to score a good deal. The tools can help you spot similar trends in other products, like televisions, which tend to get a lot cheaper when Christmas draws near.

Don’t Trust Every Review

Amazon’s 5-star review system is supposed to make choosing products simpler, but it’s easily gamed. If you’re looking at an expensive product from a company you’ve never heard of, or if there are hundreds or thousands of very positive reviews, do a little sleuthing. Many sellers try to manipulate reviews to get their products listed more prominently on Amazon.

Fakespot is an excellent tool to help you spot deceptive reviews. Just plug in an Amazon URL and it’ll give you a report. It isn’t a flawless tool, but it will give you a hint at whether a lot of reviews are fake or suspicious, and it spits out an AI-generated summary to try and help you parse the information further. We’ve got more advice on detecting fake Amazon reviews here.

Amazon Is Selling Off This 56,800mAh Power Bank Stock, Now 85% Off the Original Price

by admin June 12, 2025

Power banks have become essential companions for anyone who needs to keep their devices charged on the go. Whether you’re working remotely, traveling or simply out for the day, running out of battery on your smartphone, AirPods, or laptop can be a real hassle. While there are countless power banks available, many fall short in two critical areas: battery capacity and charging speed.

That is why having a model that can do everything is a game-changer and right now, this Moihosso 56800mAh 22.5W power bank is not only one of the best models out there but it’s also eligible for an unheard-of sale on Amazon: At a massive 85% discount, this power bank is available for just $34 down from its usual $239. For this price, Amazon must be barely breaking even which makes this a deal that’s impossible to resist.

See at Amazon

Massive Fast-Charging Capability

With its massive 56,800mAh capacity, it will power your devices for days: Whether you’re on a long trip, camping in the great outdoors, or otherwise trapped in back-to-back meetings, this power bank ensures that you never have to endure the misery of low battery stress. It charges a range of devices from the latest iPhones to Galaxy and Pixel phones to iPads, and beyond. In practical terms, this means that you can fully charge your smartphone up to 11 times or your tablet multiple times before the power bank runs out of charge.

You will also love its fantastic 22.5W fast charging capability: Unlike most default charging models which are meant to gradually, consistently charge the supported devices, this unit gives fast stable output to the supported devices so that you can achieve 100% in much less time.

Another big advantage is that it can charge three devices simultaneously: With two USB-A output and a single multi-functional Type-C port that can accept and deliver power, you can keep your smartphone, wireless earbuds and tablet charged at the same time. Smart current division ensures that each device receives the best charging rate without sacrificing performance.

Ease of use and security are supplemented by an intelligent LED display showing the actual remaining battery percentage. Guesswork is eliminated and you can coordinate your charging schedule confidently. You Protection built in defends against overcharging, overheating and overcurrent for safe and stable power delivery whenever you make use of it.

At $34, it’s a deal that’s almost impossible to beat.

Amazon Restocks The New Legend Of Zelda Collector’s Edition Chess Set

by admin June 12, 2025

After selling out within hours earlier this month, Amazon has restocked the new Legend of Zelda Collector’s Chess Set. Priced at $45 and officially licensed by Nintendo, this new edition features gold and black figurines based on Hyrule’s biggest heroes and villains. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this sell out fast again.

$45

The Legend of Zelda-themed chess pits Link, Zelda, and their allies against Ganondorf and various evildoers who threaten the kingdom the Hyrule. Fittingly, Link and Ganondorf serve as the king pieces, while Zelda and Twinrova are the queens.

The main heroes of Hyrule are accompanied by four supporting characters who have appeared in numerous games, including Ocarina of Time: Navi, Impa, Darunia, and Link’s trusty steed Epona.

On the villainous side, Ganondorf is joined by the twin Gerudo witches known as Twinrova, Iron Knuckles from Zelda II, Phantoms from Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass, and series regulars Armos and Deku Scrubs.

The heroes are presented as miniature gold figurines, while the villains are the black pieces. All of the pieces have a weathered, rusty finish that looks great.

Here’s the full list of what’s included in the new Legend of Zelda Chess Set.

The Legend of Zelda Chess Set

  • Legend of Zelda Chess Board
  • 16 Hero Gold Chess Pieces
    • Link (King)
    • Zelda (Queen)
    • 2x Impa (Bishops)
    • 2x Epona (Knights)
    • 2x Darunia (Rooks)
    • 8x Navi (Pawns)
  • 16 Villain Black Chess Pieces
    • Ganondorf (King)
    • Twinrova (Queen)
    • 2x Iron Knuckles (Bishops)
    • 2x Phantoms (Knights)
    • 2x Armos (Rooks)
    • 8x Deku Scrubs (Pawns)

This isn’t the first time The Legend of Zelda has received a chess set. GameStop had an exclusive The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition Chess Set that routinely sells for high prices on reseller markets these days.

$35 (was $40)

Though it’s not a brand-new release, it’s worth shouting out the awesome Super Mario Chess Set. This one comes with 32 custom-sculpted and hand-painted figures depicting modern character models of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., and more. Plus, it’s available for only $35 at Amazon and Target.

On the frontlines, the pawns are presented as gold coins for the Mushroom Kingdom side, while Bowser’s disposable units are Koopa Shells.

Here’s the full breakdown of the characters and pieces in Super Mario Chess:

Super Mario Chess Set:

  • Super Mario Chess Board
  • 16 Hero Figurines
    • Mario (King)
    • Luigi (Queen)
    • Peach (Bishop)
    • Daisy (Bishop)

The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition Chess Set

The Op Games has also made various editions of The Legend of Zelda Monopoly over the years. Unfortunately, much like the original Zelda chess set, The Legend of Zelda Monopoly is out of print and tends to sell for high prices. At the moment, Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition is listed for $110 at Amazon via Toynk Toys (fulfilled by Amazon). The game pieces in this version are all based on iconic weapons and symbols, like Link’s shield, the Ocarina of Time, and the Triforce.

For more themed chess sets based on popular gaming and entertainment franchises, The Noble Collection has a variety of impressive options, including The Lord of the Rings Chess Set for $45. You can choose to command the armies of good with pieces led by Galadriel, Aragorn, Frodo, and Gandalf the Grey, or if you’re feeling evil, you can unleash the forces of Sauron, who is allied with Gollum, the Nazgul, and Saruman on the chessboard. In addition to the sculpted pieces, this set also comes with two branded storage bags to keep everything in.

Here’s a list of a handful of standout chess sets in The Noble Collection:

Meta Clears Out Stock of Ray-Ban Smart Glasses, Amazon Drops Them to an All-Time New Low

by admin June 11, 2025

For the very first time since the day they were launched, the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses are at an all-time low discount on Amazon, which makes it the ideal moment to acquire one of the most revolutionary wearable technologies available.

The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Skyler and Wayfarer models are now on sale at record-low prices: the Skyler model is available for $303, down from its initial $379, and the Wayfarer model has been discounted to $239, down from $299.

Why Are They Unique?

What makes the Meta Ray-Ban glasses truly unique is how they effortlessly combine advanced technology with traditional eyewear design: They are already considered the top smart glasses on the market today, owing to their blend of style, comfort, and innovative features that make them a hit with a wide range of users. These glasses are meant to slip easily into your life.

At the core of the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses lies the ability to shoot life from your perspective: The newly designed ultra-wide 12 MP camera enables you to shoot high-quality photos and videos with the voice command or the discreet button tap. The five-mic array delivers clear audio whether recording a video, taking a hands-free call, or communicating with Meta AI. You can even livestream directly to Facebook and Instagram, and take your friends and followers along in the moment.

Most impressive is the addition of Meta AI which makes these spectacles a wearable personal assistant: Activated, Meta AI can scan your surroundings and make contextually appropriate suggestions to help you stay on top of things and in the loop during the day. Of special mention is the live translation feature supporting real-time translations between French, Italian, Spanish, and English without relying on Wi-Fi.

Style and comfort are not overlooked: Both the Skyler and Wayfarer models bear the traditional Ray-Ban style so you’ll be looking good when you wear them. The frames are light for wearing all day, and the lenses are available in a variety of options to correct your eyesight. The spectacles are also built to be durable so you can wear them wherever you go.

Their current all-time low prices on Amazon make this the perfect time to upgrade your eyewear. Keep in mind that they’re actually for everybody with features that will enhance both productivity and pleasure in everyday life.

If You Own a PS5, the PlayStation DualSense Controller Costs Peanuts on Amazon

by admin June 11, 2025

If you own a PS5, having multiple controllers is almost a necessity as there’s nothing better than sharing your favorite PlayStation games with friends or family in the same room. While it’s always wise to have a spare controller ready for multiplayer sessions or simply as a backup for you, genuine discounts on the PlayStation DualSense wireless controller are rare.

Even during Black Friday, major promotions were hard to find which makes this moment the perfect opportunity to add another controller to your setup. Right now, the PlayStation DualSense controller is available on Amazon for just $54 which is a substantial 27% off its usual $74 price. This limited-time deal marks an all-time low, so it’s an ideal time to buy, especially if you missed out on previous sales.

Why We Love It

The biggest feature of the DualSense controler is haptic feedback which puts the feel of in-game action and environments right in your hands. Whether you’re racing down rough roads, wielding guns or feeling the crash of a collision, the controller’s next-gen vibration motors plunge you further into the game.

Aside from the haptic feedback, adaptive triggers provide varying levels of force and tension so that you can feel the distinction between drawing back a bowstring or slamming on the brakes in a racing title. They work together to create a feeling of realism and immersion that was not achievable on previous PlayStation controllers.

The built-in microphone allows you to chat online without a headset and the 3.5mm audio jack allows you to plug in your favorite headphones for individual use. The create button is convenient to use to capture and stream your most excellent gaming moments in case you’re playing with buddies or capturing highlights to playback later. The controller’s iconic appearance has been fine-tuned for comfort with enhanced sticks and an intuitive layout that feels great in your hand even after long gaming sessions.

DualSense isn’t only for PlayStation 5 gamers: With its USB Type-C and Bluetooth connectivity, you can easily play it on Windows desktops and Macs too which gives you even more gaming possibilities outside of the console. Most high-end PC games currently support advanced features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, which lets you experience the same immersive experience playing from your computer.

With over 33,000 reviews and a lovely 4.6 out of 5-star rating, the PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller is a proven winner among gamers. Don’t hesitate too much: These sales don’t come around often, and the stock may not be here.
