Shiba Inu (SHIB) Refuses to Be Dethroned by Litecoin, With $350 Million Advantage

by admin June 19, 2025

Somewhere just beyond the spotlight of the crypto top 10, a major power shift is brewing between two of the space’s best-known names: Litecoin and Shiba Inu (SHIB). The two are sitting just outside the top 15 cryptocurrencies, with SHIB slightly ahead at $6.815 billion and Litecoin close behind at $6.480 billion — a difference of less than $350 million.

Prices are a reflection of that. SHIB is steady at $0.00001156, showing almost no movement over the past 24 hours or the past week. Meanwhile, Litecoin is doing okay — up 1.45% on the day, trading at $85.29. In the last seven days, LTC has dropped 3.41%, but that still puts it ahead of SHIB’s 7.9% weekly drop.

The volume makes it easier to understand. In the last 24 hours, there was $329.2 million worth of trading volume in Litecoin, while SHIB only had $121.7 million. That is a big difference, and it suggests more attention, more movement and possibly more short-term confidence around LTC. SHIB’s price chart has been all over the place recently, while Litecoin’s decline looks more measured.

The difference in supply is huge: SHIB has 589.24 trillion tokens in circulation, while Litecoin has just under 76 million.

One is all about meme culture and massive scale, and the other is all about utility and legacy functionality. These two occupy different corners of the crypto market, but that has not stopped people comparing them, especially when they are trading spots.

No one is expecting either of them to break into the top 10 overnight, but in a market where rank often shapes perception, even a small jump can make a difference.

If LTC keeps up its pace and SHIB keeps stalling, the flip could be coming soon. It is not a rivalry that is all over the headlines — but it is a tight one.

Your character’s attribute letter grades in Elden Ring Nightreign don’t really mean much, but you can still use them to your advantage

by admin June 11, 2025

Elden Ring Nightreign is, at its core, an RPG with character stats that grow each time you level up. Because of the rapid pace of runs, however, FromSoftware simplified that process and turned it into a one-button affair.

When you reach a Site of Grace, you press that to gain new levels, without having to worry about stat allocation. The game does that in the background, though in different ways depending on your chosen class.

But what about those starting attributes and their letter grades? Well, it’s complicated.

FromSoft dataminer and all-around Souls investigator, Zullie the Witch, have revealed some interesting details about the way stats and levelling work in Nightreign. Their latest video attempts to show the true stats of each of the game’s different classes.

Each class has an attributes screen that lists a few of the more common stats: HP, FP, Strength, Faith and so on. It also assigns a letter grade to each to signify which areas of that spectrum they’re strong/weak in. It does this, however, without revealing any hard numbers, or really explaining what each grade corresponds to.

As you may have already guessed, each class does have a traditional stats screen, which we see in the Zullie’s latest video. Looking at that screen, you can also see that the jump from level 1 to 2 is the biggest across the entire system, with level 12 being the softcap.

The true nature of each class, of course, is dictated by which attributes they favour, but the grading system itself does not appear to follow a set formula. The Duchess, for instance, has a B in in DEX and an A in INT, despite their values being almost identical.

The video also reveals that Relics that boost attack stats are more powerful at lower character levels, but tend to not matter much once you upgrade your weapon, and gain damage bonuses through other sources.

As Zullie points out in the video, of course, Nightreign’s random nature doesn’t make it easy to target specific builds, but knowing each characters’ true stat sheet means you can better pick Relics and other items that you know will benefit your class the most.

In other Nightreign news, the game received a new update yesterday that brought a couple of balance changes, as well as some bug fixes. It’s not a big one, but more is on the way. For more on FromSoft’s latest, hit up our mega Elden Ring Nightreign guide for some juicy tips and walkthroughs.

Ethereum’s Buterin Recognizes Key Bitcoin Advantage

by admin June 3, 2025

Canadian programmer Vitalik Buterin has recognized Bitcoin’s advantage over Ethereum in such aspects as censorship resistance and decentralization.

Buterin believes that this is the case due to less code complexity, lower rate of protocol change, higher full node count, and less dependence on RPCs (remote procedure calls).

Bitcoin’s protocol is simpler, which makes it easier it easier to audit and harder to introduce bugs. At the same time, Ethereum’s smart contract capabilities add a lot of complexity, increasing risk.

The Bitcoin community is also extremely conservative when it comes to implementing new changes, which enhances predictability and trust in the long term.

Finally, more people run full Bitcoin nodes, which means that the network has a higher degree of censorship resistance. These nodes also do not rely as much on external services, which is not the case for Ethereum applications since they are often dependent on providers of the likes of Infura.
