AI Models Predict Neutral Bitcoin Trend: Warns Of Late-September Shock

by admin September 9, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Bitcoin is currently in a consolidation phase after a strong multi-month uptrend that began in April. Following weeks of heightened volatility and selling pressure, BTC has managed to hold steady above critical support levels, keeping the broader bullish narrative alive. Some analysts argue that this resilience highlights the strength of Bitcoin’s current market structure and even suggest that a push beyond all-time highs could be on the horizon in the coming weeks.

Despite uncertainty and cautious sentiment, long-term holders and institutional flows continue to provide a foundation for Bitcoin’s price stability. While short-term corrections remain possible, the broader market remains optimistic that BTC is preparing for another leg higher.

CryptoQuant analyst Crypto Onchain recently shared a Bitcoin TFT AI Forecast, which points to BTC trading in a mostly neutral range for the next month. According to the model, Bitcoin is likely to stay around current levels without a sharp breakout or collapse in the near term. This reinforces the idea that the market is digesting its recent gains before attempting another move.

Bitcoin AI Forecast Suggests Rising Uncertainty

According to the Temporal Fusion Transformer (TFT) AI Forecast, Bitcoin is expected to trade within a mostly neutral range in the coming weeks, though uncertainty is rising sharply. The model places Bitcoin’s current price at $110,669, projecting a 1.1% decline to $109,451 over the next seven days. Looking further ahead, the 30-day forecast anticipates a 1.72% decrease to $108,771, reinforcing the idea of consolidation rather than a clear bullish or bearish breakout.

Bitcoin Price Prediction (30 Days Forecast) | Source: CryptoQuant

The most important signal, however, is not the modest downside forecast, but the sharp opening of confidence intervals. Model uncertainty climbs above 50% by the end of the forecast period, signaling elevated risk and the potential for severe volatility. This uncertainty opens the door to multiple scenarios.

The main scenario, combining both the WaveNet and TFT models, suggests Bitcoin will hold within the $108,000–$120,000 channel, a range-bound movement likely to dominate the first three weeks of September. A surprise scenario, however, could emerge in the final week. If a strong catalyst or sudden sentiment shift occurs, the elevated uncertainty could translate into an explosive move—either a breakout to fresh highs or a sharp retrace.

While the market faces slight selling pressure short term, the last week of September may prove decisive, with volatility set to define Bitcoin’s next big move.

Testing Support Within Ongoing Consolidation

The 3-day Bitcoin chart shows BTC trading at $112,146, rebounding 1.77% after recent volatility. The price remains in a consolidation phase following the rejection from the all-time high near $124,500. Notably, Bitcoin has so far defended the $110,000 support zone, which has acted as a floor during recent pullbacks.

The moving averages highlight the structure: the 50-day SMA at $107,765 and the 100-day SMA at $100,647 provide strong medium-term support. Meanwhile, the 200-day SMA at $81,576 remains far below, reflecting Bitcoin’s broader bullish cycle despite short-term weakness. Holding above the 50-day average is key for confirming the resilience of this uptrend.

Immediate resistance lies at $115,000, a level Bitcoin failed to reclaim in its last attempts. A successful breakout above this region could open the path toward $120,000–123,000, where the ATH sits. Conversely, failure to maintain $110,000 could trigger further downside, potentially targeting the $107,000–105,000 range.

Nasdaq files with SEC to enable trading of tokenized securities

by admin September 9, 2025

The premier tech stock exchanges in the U.S. is preparing to start offering tokenized assets to its traders.

Summary

  • Nasdaq filed with the SEC to enable it to trade tokenized securities
  • These tokenized assets will retain all investor rights and protections
  • The total value of tokenized assets has doubled in 2025

Asset tokenization has gotten its biggest endorsement yet. On Monday, September 8, the Nasdaq stock exchange announced a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission seeking approval to trade tokenized securities.

According to Tal Cohen, president of Nasdaq, the move aims to leverage blockchain’s speed and efficiency while embedding it directly into U.S. equity infrastructure. What is more, these tokenized assets will retain all investor rights and protections, including dividends.

“The integration of tokenization and blockchain technology alongside traditional market infrastructure presents an extraordinary opportunity for the global financial system,” said Tal Cohen, Nasdaq CEO. I am excited to share that we have submitted a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to facilitate the trading of tokenized securities on the Nasdaq Stock Market.”

Cohen said tokenized assets can shorten settlement times and modernize proxy voting, among other benefits. He also emphasized that Nasdaq would always prioritize investor protections and market stability while looking for new ways to leverage the technology.

Tokenized assets become increasingly mainstream

Asset tokenization is becoming one of the strongest trends in crypto markets and is now entering the mainstream. As of August, the total value of tokenized assets doubled year over year, going from $12.4 billion to $26.3 billion.

An increasing number of traditional companies have started to join this market. For instance, on September 8, investment giant Fidelity launched a $200 million tokenized Treasury fund on Ethereum (FDIT).

Treasuries and private credit dominate asset tokenization. Tokenized equities, however, are also increasing in popularity.

‘Near Telepathic’ Wearable Lets You Communicate Silently With Devices

by admin September 9, 2025

In brief

  • Boston startup AlterEgo unveiled a wearable that lets users communicate silently with machines by decoding neuromuscular signals in the jaw and throat.
  • The technology builds on a 2018 MIT Media Lab prototype that showed subvocal speech could be captured and translated with high accuracy.
  • AlterEgo positions its non-invasive approach as a practical alternative to brain implants like Neuralink or EMG wristbands from Meta.

A Boston startup called AlterEgo on Monday unveiled a wearable device that allows users to communicate silently with computers, marking the first serious attempt to commercialize a revolutionary technology pioneered at the MIT Media Lab.

The device, described by the company as a “near-telepathic” interface, does not read brain activity. Instead, it detects faint neuromuscular signals in the face and throat when a person internally verbalizes words. Those signals are decoded by machine learning software and transmitted as commands or text. Responses are delivered privately through bone-conduction audio.

The story was first reported by Axios, and shared by the company’s founder Arnav Kapur on X.

Introducing Alterego: the world’s first near-telepathic wearable that enables silent communication at the speed of thought.

Alterego makes AI an extension of the human mind.

We’ve made several breakthroughs since our work started at MIT.

We’re announcing those today. pic.twitter.com/KX5mxUIBAk

— alterego (@alterego_io) September 8, 2025

The approach builds on research first presented at MIT in 2018, when Kapur, then a graduate student, introduced a prototype headset under the same name. That version demonstrated that subvocal speech—words uttered in silence—could be captured with sufficient accuracy to control simple systems. The lab positioned it as a potential aid for people with speech impairments, while also suggesting broader applications in human-computer interaction.

AlterEgo has not disclosed details about funding, launch timing, or commercialization strategy, but the company will present the technology publicly at the Axios AI+ Summit in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 17.

The system draws on several existing strands of research. Electromyography, or EMG, has long been used in prosthetics to capture muscle impulses for controlling artificial limbs; AlterEgo applies the same principle to the muscles involved in speech. The U.S. military supported similar “subvocal speech” experiments in the 2000s, though early prototypes were bulky and inaccurate. Bone-conduction audio, which transmits sound through vibrations in the skull, is a well-established technology in consumer headsets and hearing aids.

What sets AlterEgo apart is the integration of these elements into a discreet, wearable package with improved machine learning that can parse silent speech in real time. Unlike invasive brain–computer interfaces such as Neuralink, or non-invasive EEG caps that attempt to interpret brain waves, AlterEgo does not attempt to decode thought directly. It registers only intentional motor signals, a distinction the company emphasizes as a safeguard for user privacy.

If successful, the device could reshape how people interact with artificial intelligence systems and connected devices by creating a channel for communication without keyboards, touchscreens or spoken voice. For consumers, it could mean whispering a command to an AI assistant in a crowded room without being overheard. For individuals with speech impairments, it may offer a new way to interact with the world.

The company enters a field that is attracting attention from major players. Elon Musk’s Neuralink is pursuing invasive brain implants with a focus on medical applications. Meta has explored wristbands that detect EMG signals in the forearm to control augmented-reality systems, while Apple and Google continue to invest in wearable interfaces tied to voice and gesture.

AlterEgo’s bet is that a lightweight, non-invasive system will prove more practical—and more acceptable to consumers—than implants or bulky hardware.

Circle’s USDC Market Share ‘On a Tear,’ Says Wall Street Broker Bernstein

by admin September 8, 2025

Hyperliquid is planning to launch its own stablecoin, in a move that could reduce the decentralized exchange’s (DEX) dependency on Circle’s USDC.

In spite of these fears, USDC supply has surged to $72.5 billion, running 25% ahead of Wall Street broker Bernstein’s 2025 estimates. The firm had predicted that the stablecoin’s supply would reach $74 billion by year-end.

The stablecoin’s market share is “on a tear,” wrote analysts led by Gautam Chhugani in a Tuesday report.

Market share relative to Tether, issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin USDT, has also grown to 30%, up from 28% in the second quarter, the broker said.

Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies whose value is tied to another asset, such as the U.S. dollar or gold. They play a major role in cryptocurrency markets, providing among other things a payment infrastructure, and are also used to transfer money internationally.

The report noted that $5.5 billion in USDC (about 7.5% of supply) is currently used as collateral on Hyperliquid. While the exchange’s move introduces competition, it will be challenging to bootstrap sufficient liquidity for a new stablecoin in derivatives markets where execution reliability and sizing are critical, the analysts wrote.

Bernstein said that following the GENIUS Act, new stablecoin entrants are inevitable. However, liquidity bootstrapping for derivatives is non-trivial.

Concerns about Circle’s exposure to rate cuts (since lower interest income could impact revenues) miss the bigger picture, according to Bernstein analysts, as the stablecoin issuer benefits from expanding USDC supply.

Rate cuts could even support risk-on sentiment in digital assets, spurring further demand for USDC and related yield strategies, the report added.

Bernstein has an outperform rating on Circle shares, with a $230 price target. The stock was trading 1.2% higher, around $116, at publication time.

OpenSea Debuts NFT Reserve with CryptoPunk Purchase

by admin September 8, 2025

NFT marketplace turned trading platform OpenSea on Monday said it launched a $1 million reserve dedicated to buying “culturally relevant” non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

OpenSea kicked off its NFT reserve by buying a piece of digital art from the CryptoPunk collection — widely considered Ethereum’s first NFT profile picture (PFP) collection.

“To us, culturally relevant NFTs are works that have made an impact: creatively, socially, or technologically,” OpenSea Chief Marketing Officer Adam Hollander told Cointelegraph. “They might represent a defining moment in NFT history, introduce a new artistic style, or come from voices that haven’t been fully recognized yet.”

OpenSea bought CryptoPunk #5273, and plans additional acquisitions. Hollander said buying decisions will be guided by a cross-functional team of employees and external advisers from the digital art world.

Onchain data shows that CryptoPunk #5273 was purchased on Aug. 25 for 65 Ether (ETH), valued at around $283,000, before being transferred to another wallet address on Monday.

Created in June 2017 by Larva Labs, the CryptoPunks collection has a market cap of $2.1 billion, according to NFTPriceFloor.

While strategic reserves featuring fungible tokens like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Solana (SOL) have become more popular in 2025, NFT reserves have been rare if nonexistent. They also carry additional risks to investors: NFTs are less liquid than fungible tokens and could be harder to sell during a market downturn.

Upcoming purchases will “happen over the coming months”, Hollander said. “It’s not a limited campaign, it’s a living collection that will continue to grow as the space evolves.”

NFT momentum slows first week of September

The NFT sector showed signs of a comeback in recent weeks, according to data from CryptoSlam, with sales between July and August ranging from $115.4 million to $170.5 million. That momentum cooled in September, with weekly sales slipping to $92 million.

Various crypto exchanges, including Bybit and Kraken, and more mainstream companies like GameStop, have shuttered their NFT marketplaces amid falling trading volume.

In May, OpenSea announced it was rolling out a token trading platform in an effort to diversify its businesses. In April, NFT marketplace Magic Eden acquired crypto trading app Slingshot to undergo a similar pivot.

Ripple CTO Praises XRP Wallet for Swift Reaction to Supply Chain Attack

by admin September 8, 2025

David Schwartz, chief technology officer at Ripple, has praised Xaman, a popular XRP wallet, for swiftly reacting to a large-scale supply chain attack on the Node Package Manager (NPM) ecosystem.

A reputable developer’s NPM account was recently compromised, and widely JavaScript packages ended up being infected with malicious code.

The malware specifically targets cryptocurrency wallets such as MetaMask in order to redirect the funds of uninitiated crypto users to the attackers by secretly swapping addresses.

Michael Saylor Enters Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index At $7.37B

by admin September 8, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

MicroStrategy (now Strategy) co-founder Michael Saylor has made his first entry on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, joining the list with an estimated net worth of $7.37 billion and taking the 491st spot.

Reports have disclosed that his wealth rose by about $1 billion since the start of 2025, a gain of nearly 16% year-to-date.

Strategy Holdings Drive Wealth

According to Bloomberg’s breakdown, roughly $6.70 billion of Saylor’s reported net worth is tied to his equity in Strategy, while about $650 million is held in cash. That split leaves the bulk of his public wealth exposed to the market value of the company’s stock and, by extension, the company’s Bitcoin reserves.

Source: Bloomberg

Different Counts For Bitcoin Hoard

Different outlets list different totals for Strategy’s BTC stash. Some reports cite about 580,000 BTC held as of May 2025, while others report figures above 630,000 BTC or near 660,000 BTC depending on timing and source.

The range reflects ongoing purchases and the lag in public filings, which mean the company’s Bitcoin tally can look different from story to story.

Saylor’s Fortune Moves With Markets

Bloomberg’s live index shows short-term swings in Saylor’s number: his net worth rose by about $167 million in a single recent update, underscoring how quickly the headline figure can change when Strategy shares or Bitcoin move.

Based on reports, the sharp moves this year were driven by a rise in Strategy’s share price and Bitcoin’s run toward higher levels.

BTCUSD now trading at $111,966. Chart: TradingView

From Dot-Com Highs To A Bitcoin Bet

Saylor’s path to the list traces back to earlier highs and setbacks in the dot-com era and a major strategy shift beginning in 2020, when Strategy began buying Bitcoin as a treasury asset.

The change in company focus is what analysts and commentators point to now when they link most of his public net worth to the firm’s holdings rather than to cash or other assets.

Index Entry Joins Crypto Titans

Based on reports, Saylor’s arrival on the Bloomberg list places him among other tech and crypto-linked billionaires who have seen fortunes tied to digital assets or crypto firms.

His entry follows a year in which several public companies and their leaders have gained or lost ground in step with Bitcoin’s swings.

For now, Saylor’s rank on the list is a snapshot — a number that can rise or fall quickly. Investors and observers will watch Strategy’s filings and Bitcoin’s price for the clearest clues about where his net worth might head next.

Hyperliquid price at record high; USDH vote and 80% fee cuts fuel rally

by admin September 8, 2025

Hyperliquid price reached an all-time high, following news of a stablecoin launch and a major institutional vote of confidence.

Summary

  • Hyperliquid reached an ATH following several major announcements
  • Singapore-based fintech and trading platform Lion Group ditches Solana and SUI for Hype
  • The protocol is gearing up for major technical upgrades and its own stablecoin launch

On Monday, September 8, Hyperliquid (HYPE) price was up 7.5%, reaching an all-time high of $51.89. With a market cap of $16 billion, HYPE is now the eleventh-largest crypto asset, ahead of Chainlink (LINK). The move followed several significant developments for the DEX, including a major nod of confidence from an institutional player, network upgrades, and stablecoin plans.

For one, on Monday, September 8, Singapore-based trading platform Lion Group announced that it will convert Solana (SOL) and Sui (SUI) holdings into HYPE tokens. The Nasdaq-listed firm specializing in alternative investments stated that HYPE offers better long-term value creation than Solana and SUI. They also called the token “the most compelling opportunity” in DeFi.

Lion Group stated that it will convert its SOL and SUI positions into HYPE over time, buying at times when the token is down. Notably, Lion Group’s shift to Hyperliquid signals the institutional legitimacy the token has acquired, showing to some that it is now “safe” to invest. It also follows the decision from the asset manager BitGo to launch HyperEMV custodial solutions in the United States.

Hyperliquid to launch USDH stablecoin

Another significant development that pushed Hyperliquid to its ATH is the latest governance vote, which proposed the launch of the USDH. The Hyperliquid-based stablecoin, according to the company, is supposed to launch as part of the protocol’s next major upgrade.

The upgrade, announced on September 5, will cut fees for certain trading pairs by 80% and reduce rebates. According to the DEX, this move would boost liquidity on the high-frequency trading DEX.

OpenSea Reveals ‘Flagship’ NFT Treasury Stockpile as SEA Token Drop Nears

by admin September 8, 2025

In brief

  • OpenSea is creating an NFT reserve, starting with a CryptoPunk on Ethereum.
  • The firm is preparing for the final phase of pre-token rewards, starting with a prize vault filled with $1 million in ARB and OP tokens.
  • The OpenSea Foundation is expected to announce SEA tokenomics in early October.

Prominent NFT marketplace OpenSea said Monday that it has committed more than $1 million to acquiring culturally relevant NFTs as it charges towards the launch of its native ecosystem token, SEA.

The marketplace’s reserve, called the Flagship Collection, will begin with CryptoPunk #5273, which was last purchased for $282,000 on August 25 before being transferred to a new address on Monday. After acquiring “essential pieces,” the firm aims to acquire and elevate pieces from emerging artists.

“We’ve always said NFTs are culture. The Flagship Collection is about picking the pieces we believe will stand the test of time,” OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer told Decrypt.

Today we’re introducing:

– OS Mobile: a beautiful trading experience powered by AI
– Flagship Collection: honoring web3’s cultural heritage
– Final Rewards Phase: 50% of platform fees funding millions in token & NFT prizes
– $SEA Update: details in early October

Learn more ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/EfsjucUeSR

— OpenSea (@opensea) September 8, 2025

The firm will choose pieces for the collection using a committee of OpenSea employees and a group of external advisors with strict internal procedures in place to prevent the leak of information prior to acquisitions.

In 2023, a former OpenSea employee was convicted in the first-ever NFT insider trading case, as the executive had purchased and profited from assets that were to be featured on the popular marketplace. The conviction was ultimately overturned this July.

“There are a variety of elements that factor into our buying criteria, ranging from cultural significance, impact on Web3 as a whole, unique expressions of creativity and more,” OpenSea CMO Adam Hollander told Decrypt.

“Some of the selections for the Flagship Collection will seem obvious, while others much less so,” he added. “The goal is to spotlight well-deserving artists and creators, even new and emerging ones, placing their works shoulder-to-shoulder with historical pieces that represent digital culture.”

Beyond the Flagship Collection, OpenSea is gearing up for a final push before the official launch of the SEA token, the native ecosystem token announced by the OpenSea Foundation in February.

Starting on September 15, the firm will begin using 50% of its platform fees to create a prize vault for the final phase of pre-token generation rewards. Additionally, it is kickstarting the vault with $1 million worth of the native tokens from Ethereum layer-2 networks Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB).

Based on activity on the platform, such as NFT and token trading and completing daily tasks, users can level-up their portion of the prize vault, which will also play a “meaningful role” at the time of the SEA token generation.

Full tokenomics details are expected to be shared by the OpenSea Foundation in early October.

The Miami-based firm—which hit a valuation of $13.3 billion in 2022 amid the NFT boom—announced a complete overhaul earlier this year with the launch of “OS2,” a renewed vision for NFT and fungible token trading.

In July, OpenSea acquired crypto portfolio application, Rally, to level up its mobile experience. Waitlists for a revamped mobile application and an AI-focused trading experience are expected to launch in the coming weeks, the firm said Monday.
