Xbox Series S (512GB, Controller Included) Is Back at a Low Price on Amazon Despite Microsoft’s Price Hike

Happy Silksong Weekend to all who celebrate. If you’re not playing the most anticipated game of the decade right now, I can only imagine it’s because you don’t own any gaming console or PC to play it on. So, here! Let me help you. The Xbox Series S is a wonderful option for an entry-level game system and right now it happens to be on sale. It’s MSRP is $380, but for a limited time, you can grab one for 13% off at just $329.

Now for the elephant in the room… Back when the Xbox Series X and Series S first launched in 2020, the latter of which was priced at just $300. A few months back, Microsoft made and announcement confirming plans to raise the price of its consoles and games. The Xbox Series S went up by $80 to $380. So while this discount brings console down lower than the current list price, this Series S is still $29 more than it had been for five years (ignoring any other discounts over that time). It stinks, but it is what it is.

All-Digital Gaming Console

This model comes with a controller and hold 512GB. It’s disc-free so you’ll be downloading all your games onto that internal storage or onto an external SSD which you can purchase separately. It may not have 4K gaming, but it can still produce higher than standard HD resolution at 1440p. Plus, it’s got HDR support to ensure that the darks look dark and the bright colors pop. It can handle refresh rates of up to 120FPS so performance is still pretty great.

Like it’s counterpart, the Xbox Series X, this console has a feature called Quick Resume. No longer do you need to worry about finding a save point when you want switch to a different game. You can suspend your gameplay in the background, hop into something else, then return to it later right where you left off. My apologies to any game dev who works on title screens because I only ever see those once.

Quick Resume is possible because of the Xbox Velocity Architecture, which also allows for super-fast load times.

Over 50% of video game layoffs have been in California, says Game Changers award recipient

The games industry has been wracked by layoffs in the last few years, but over half of all layoffs have been in California, with North America overall the worst hit country.


That’s according to Amir Satvat, who spoke to The Game Business on the topic. Satvar was the first recipient of the Game Changers award at The Game Awards 2024 for his work assisting laid-off employees across the industry.


“Over 70 percent, and in some years 75 percent, of the layoffs have been in North America,” said Satvat. “North America used to have 30 percent, 35 percent, 40 percent of the open roles, and that number is now down to 25 percent.”


Globally, employment in the games industry has increased since before the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, though that depends on region. While Asia has seen an increase in jobs, North America has seen its workforce in AAA studios cut by 15 to 20 percent.


“And here’s another stat,” added Satvat, “over 50 percent of the cuts globally have been in California. California AAA is like the epicentre of the difficulty.


“There is opportunity, but it may be that if you want to stay in the industry, being open to going to some of these places like China, like Japan, not forever, but for some amount of time, that’s going to become a larger part of the equation.”


The most high profile layoffs recently were from Microsoft back in June, which included the cancellation of Perfect Dark from the California-based The Initiative, though developers were affected on both sides of the pond.


So far this year, an estimated 4400 people have been laid off globally in the games industry.

Hollow Knight: Silksong kills it on its launch day on Steam with over half-a-million concurrent players

There was really no chance Hollow Knight: Silksong wasn’t going to be a major hit for Team Cherry; the only question was how much of a hit it was going to be. We no longer need to guess, because the game is out and everyone seems to be onboard.

Silksong has officially become one of Steam’s biggest releases of 2025, and certainly one of the most significant launches for any indie game.

Quickly after Silksong went live last night on Steam, it started shooting up Steam’s Most Played chart, overtaking heavy-hitters like Path of Exile 2 (which, incidentally, just had a major update that boosted its spot), and perennial multiplayer titles like PUBG.

Silksong had no trouble landing into the top five – and staying there. Even at the time of this writing, the game occupies the number three spot, just below DOTA 2, and Counter-Strike 2 with over 317,000 in-game.

Its peak concurrent was a staggering 535,213 players (via SteamDB), which it managed to achieve around 14 hours ago. Silksong is also, of course, Steam’s current number one top-seller, with the game and soundtrack bundle at number two. It is especially impressive that it only spent one week in the top 100, no doubt the result of its gamescom revival and subsequent release date news.

The original Hollow Knight even saw a boost off the back of that reemergence, beating its own all-time Steam concurrent player record just two days ago, as many booted up (and bought) the game in anticipation of the expansion-turned-sequel

And, just like how beloved that game was, it seems Silksong is getting the same level of love from players. As it stands, Silksong has an Overwhelmingly Positive Steam user review rating, based on nearly 16,000 reviews.

All that time spent in development has also seemingly resulted in a polished game, because there’s barely any mention of bugs or any other technical problems. Given this incredible momentum, it’s possible the weekend will boost Silksong’s numbers even further.

Mewgenics finally has a release date! The endless cat breeding RPG from The Binding of Isaac’s Edmund McMillen will be released on 10th February, 2026 on PC. That’s over 13 years since its original announcement!

Alongside this announcement, McMillen (one half of the Mewgenics team) released a gameplay reveal on his personal YouTube account. It’s a whopping 50-minutes long, and showcases how the much-anticipated indie will actually play. You can check it out yourself down below.

For those unaware, Mewgenics has been on a bizarre development journey. First revealed in 2012 after the smash hit Super Meat Boy, the game was described as the “strangest project” McMillen had ever worked on. However, this version of Mewgenics was shelved and ultimately cancelled, with McMillen focusing on The Legend of Bumbo until 2018 when he acquired the rights for Mewgenics from Team Meat and began development on the game alongside Tyler Glaiel.

Lego Reveals Its Most Expensive Set Ever: A $1,000 Death Star

After rumors and leaks, Lego has officially released all the information on its upcoming Death Star diorama set. And yes, the rumors are true, Lego’s next big Star Wars set will cost an eye-watering $1,000, making it the most expensive set in the company’s history when it goes on sale in October.

Officially known as (deep breath) the LEGO® Star Wars™ Death Star™ – Ultimate Collector Series (75419), this new Death Star set is nearly 2 feet tall and over a foot wide. The big diorama contains over 9,000 Lego pieces and an astonishing 38 Star Wars minifigs. Yowza, that’s a lot of characters! Lego even tossed in a Stormtrooper wearing swimtrunks as a nod to the Lego Star Wars games and the famous hot tub Easter Egg. Other characters include Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Wulf Yularen, The Emperor, and various versions of Luke Skywalker.

The large set contains multiple rooms that are each based on moments from the movies. It is a bit weird to see the famous trash compactor scene from A New Hope recreated in the same Death Star build that features Luke and Darth Vader fighting in the throne room from Return of the Jedi. I’ll just ignore these discrepancies and enjoy the massive set for what it is: A cool assortment of famous Star Wars moments contained inside a very expensive collection of plastic bricks.

If you want to buy the Lego Death Star set, well first off, you’ll need $1,000. Once you have that, congrats. If you are a Lego Insider member, you’ll be able to order the Death Star set starting on October 1. Everyone else has to wait until October 4. And if you buy the set before October 8, you’ll get a Lego Star Wars TIE Fighter set as an additional gift with purchase. The TIE Fighter can be built and slotted into the Death Star set.

I’m a big Star Wars nerd and Lego sicko, but I won’t be buying the Death Star set because I can’t in good conscience spend that much money on a single Lego set. I have too many other problems and things in my life that I could use that money on instead. Still, I’ll be curious to see how well this Death Star set sells in October. $1,000 is a hefty price tag and this set seems like Lego testing just how much money they can squeeze from collectors and fans using the power of nostalgia and exclusive minifigs. If it succeeds, I expect a few more $1,000 sets in the future.

Roblox continues efforts for child safety by expanding age estimation to all users by end of the year

Roblox has announced it will expand its age estimation requirement to all users of the platform who access its communication features by the end of the year.


Back in July, the platform introduced new safety features, including an AI used to estimate a user’s age through video selfie. Now, in a new statement, the company plans to roll out age verification for all users, through facial age estimation, ID age verification, and verified parental consent.


Roblox also plans to limit communication between adults and minors, unless they know each other in the real world.


“These added layers of protection will help provide users with access to developmentally appropriate features and content,” reads the statement from chief safety officer Matt Kaufman. “We hope this move sets a standard that other gaming, social media, and communication platforms follow.”


In addition to age estimation, Roblox has made a number of other advancements in its safety features:

  • Introducing Trusted Connections, as per its previous update, to safeguard communication
  • Using its open-source AI system Roblox Sentinel to detect early signs of child endangerment
  • Improving voice and text filters
  • Rolling out new technology to detect specific servers where large numbers of users are breaking rules
  • Refining its avatar detection model to scan for player characters breaking rules


Since January 2025, Roblox has shipped over a hundred safety initiatives in an effort to prove its commitment to child safety.


This is in response to numerous reports of questionable safety, for which Roblox has long been criticised.

EA Sports Is No Longer Making A Basketball Game

Electronic Arts is seemingly giving up on its plans to develop a new college basketball game and letting 2K Sports make one instead, according to a leaked email obtained by Extra Points.

A little background: In June, EA Sports teased online that it was developing a new college basketball game, which would have been the first from EA since 2009’s NCAA Basketball 10. So a lot of fans were excited about the news. However, there was a problem. 2K also had video game plans that involved college basketball teams and players. Unlike EA’s plan to develop a whole video game, 2K wants to create college basketball DLC for NBA 2K and/or a new mode in the game as a way of testing the waters for a full, standalone release later. And despite the College Licensing Company asking schools to sign EA’s deal, it was reported last month that many Division 1 schools were taking 2K’s deal instead. As a result, EA is taking its digital ball and leaving.

As reported by Extra Points on September 4, a leaked email from EA Sports VP of commercial licensing Sean O’Brien to multiple college licensing directors seems to indicate that the publisher is giving up on its plans. In the email, O’Brien wished the schools “good luck” while expressing that everyone at EA was “disappointed” that “some schools” were “choosing to accept” 2K’s deal.  Here’s the full email:

Hi…I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend.

Given there are some schools choosing to accept the 2K Sports proposal for inclusion in NBA 2K, the offer to be included in a college basketball video game will unfortunately have to be rescinded.

Everyone at EA SPORTS is disappointed that we all couldn’t find an acceptable path forward, but we appreciate your support in trying to bring a stand-alone college basketball game with all men’s and women’s Division 1 institutions and student athletes, conferences as well as the NCAA, in a way that fans have told us they want.  We really appreciate your support.

Good luck with back to school and an exciting start to the football season.

Of course, it’s also possible that EA Sports purposely leaked this email to Extra Points in an attempt to use angry fans to pressure schools into accepting its game proposal. “See,” EA can say. “Blame 2K and the colleges for not letting us make a whole new game. Enjoy your DLC instead.” That’s pure speculation, but even if that wasn’t the plan, it’s likely that fans hoping for a new college basketball game in the future aren’t going to be happy that EA is giving up, while 2K is reportedly just doing DLC for NBA 2K.

Is this wild saga over? Will EA actually make a college basketball game after all? Will 2K get bullied into changing its plans? Who can say? But considering how well EA’s College Football 25 game sold last year and how much money a college basketball game could make, I imagine we haven’t seen the end of this.

“Bury this game and experience forever? That should be a crime” How a group of modders revived Ubisoft’s cult driving game, The Crew

Back in 2023, Ubisoft announced it would shut down The Crew’s servers on 31st March, 2024, which would make the game unplayable due to its always online requirements – even those with physical copies of the game were to be locked out. Needless to say, many were unhappy with Ubisoft’s decision.

Some, though, decided not to just leave it there, and set about reviving the game on their own time and dime. Now a little over a year later, the fan lead Crew revival project – known as The Crew Unlimited – is gearing up for its release on 15th September.

But, what has it taken to get to this point?

“We started working on the server emulator project (to revive the game) a bit before the official server shutdown,” project lead whammy4 told Eurogamer. “Ever since then it’s been a non-stop technical uphill battle: network data analysis, reversing, implementation, rinse and repeat.”

This was all to “implement the networking and communications between the game client (the game that the players play) and the server (what we’re working on)”, they explain. “Then there’s a whole other side of it where we have to re-implement and rewrite entire parts of The Crew’s game/data design, functionality and logic, entirely from scratch.”

Think that all sounds difficult? Well, it was. The rest of The Crew Unlimited’s team is made up of r00t0, ChemicalFlood, mono24 and Guki. It was r00t0 who started and carried out the actual server emulator project, with whammy4 calling them an “absolute godsend”. Whammy4, then, is “mainly responsible for programming the actual game functionality and logic, and all the MMO stuff on the server”, while ChemicalFlood is “helping and assisting us with the networking and IT side of things (also archiving everything)”. Guki, meanwhile, is the expert on The Crew’s data and file systems, and mono24 provides “invaluable advice on how to run and manage the project correctly”. The entire team have their own jobs, families and lives outside of The Crew Unlimited.

So, what does this all actually mean in practice, though? “The game’s economy, prices, items, rewards, databases, MMO systems and logic; we have to manage things down to each individual part you install on your car in the game,” whammy4 explained. “Oftentimes working on this project feels like an unpredictable rollercoaster ride, one day we’re feeling like we’re making huge progress and got everything sorted, next day we’re bashing our heads on the wall failing to figure out how some minor gamemode’s reward formula works… sometimes for months.”

Whammy4 added there would be times when the team would have to deal with issues in their personal lives, and this would halt any progress for a not insignificant period of time. “But you know what really warms our heart and keeps us going? It’s the amount of support we get from fans of the game,” whammy4 said, adding the entire team is very grateful for this.

“It just shows how many people love and care for this game. We get kind words and support from people from all across the world, both young and old. Very few video games can boast such dedicated fanbases with such a large variety in age. This warms my heart to no end and just shows how special this game is, and to so many people.”

While it is clear The Crew Unlimited has had a huge amount of passion and care poured into it, there is one elephant in the room – Ubisoft. What does it have to say about this community project to revive The Crew?

“We often get asked if Ubisoft has commented or acknowledged our project in any way. They have not, but as for The Crew’s developers Ivory Tower, one (alleged) developer has anonymously come out and expressed their and the studio’s gratitude and appreciation for our project,” whammy4 told me when I asked. While the developer chose to stay anonymous, whammy4 said The Crew Unlimited’s team “know for a fact we got supporters over at Ivory Tower”, adding “shoutouts to them all!”.

Whammy4 admitted Ubisoft could shut down the project, but said “causing trouble for anyone is not something we’re looking to do”. They said that “each player has to have their own The Crew game installation, then they install TCU over it to make it playable again”. They added The Crew Unlimited team doesn’t provide any game files. “TCU itself is 100 percent free of charge and always will be, including anything else we may release,” they said.

As for what will come next once The Crew Unlimited releases, whammy4 said the community is excited about the modding potential that they will be able to explore. “Now that the game is free from the publisher’s servers and control, we can practically do whatever we want (and can) with the game. Only problem is that this is one hell of a difficult game to work with and modify, but there already are people in the community that are making modding tools, software and documentation in preparation for the game’s revival,” they furthered.

“With a game as rich in its content and features as The Crew, lots of mods could be possible: New cars, new car customisations, map modifications, or entire new areas and parts of the map. Maybe even new races and gamemodes!


“Part of the TCU Project is the ‘TCU Mod’, which aims to restore a lot of the visuals and ambient content that was removed from the game post-launch. It’s still in development, but already features plenty of visual improvements, along with car handling and physics improvements. It’s all just a matter of time and effort.”

Whammy4 said the team ultimately still doesn’t “know where the winds will take us”, but believes the modding “could be incredible” in the future.

“The game already has so much to offer as is, and such a solid base for modding, it’s practically screaming to be modded,” they said. “I personally believe modding is the future of The Crew, that’s how it will live on and be relevant for decades more.”

I asked whammy4 why this Crew project is so important. “Let’s begin with the fact that… we’re basically giving… millions of players their beloved game back,” they replied.

But, it is more than just that. It is also about preservation, something that has been a big topic in recent years. “Sometimes we get dads thanking us for bringing the game back, because they wanted their kids to play it, or continue playing it,” whammy4 said. “I consider video games the ultimate form of art, they are a unison of a variety of different arts – visual arts, music, sound, writing, acting, etc. The Crew is a game that definitely took all of these elements very seriously, and each was done by talented, caring artists.”

They continued: “The original version and vision of the game had a visual direction never seen before or after in gaming, it was designed to look like a moving/dynamic painting, going as far as to have entire visual elements like skies and clouds be hand-painted.”

“This game also has a ton of educational value, about American geography, history (the game features several hundred landmark points with descriptions), even down to geographical and meteorological quirks of the different places of North US, expressed with the mappers’ careful and deliberate work, featuring a large variety of biomes and ecosystems (including lots of different animal types), and a staggering 40+ unique artistic regional weather conditions available in the game (cut down to… two weathers total, in later updates).

“All of this on a huge digital map of the North US, scaled down to 1900 square miles. And to lose all this? Destroy all this work? Take it away from everyone, and bury this game and experience forever? That should be a crime.”

Closing, whammy4 said they believe that thanks to The Crew Unlimited, Ubisoft’s game “will get the recognition and love it deserves”.

30 Minutes With Ninja Gaiden 4 Was All I Needed To Be Convinced

It’s been over a decade since the last numbered Ninja Gaiden game. While the precision-based hack-and-slash series was sleeping, most action games went one of two ways. They either morphed into sprawling RPG adventures full of bloat or tried to ape the obsession with Soulslikes, incorporating methodical hitbox dodging and disciplined stamina management. But one of the kings of 3D arcade action is awake again and ready to dispense with all of the popular trend chasing. Ninja Gaiden 4 is mostly a game about killing tons of guys by executing the most lethal combos and flashiest executions you can master, and it seems to be completely content with that. I am too.

I had a chance to play a recent build of the game at Microsoft’s campus (Xbox is publishing the game) during PAX West 2025 ahead of Ninja Gaiden 4‘s release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 21. The joint venture between Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja and Bayonetta makers Platinum Games appears to be going great. Rather than a disjointed sequel divided between two game design philosophies struggling with each other and the series’ infamous legacy, what I played of Ninja Gaiden 4 felt smooth, focused, and fun. Most importantly it exuded confidence about what it is: a high-skill action game that rewards diligent fans with satisfyingly gory thrills.

The story revolves around returning frontman Ryu Hayabusa and a new hero, the Raven Clan’s Yakumo, as they scale a cyberpunk-infused Sky City Tokyo infested with new daemon horrors and futuristic ninja soldiers. Each character has access to different weapons and skill sets, and which you play depends on the chapter your in. The option to replay any chapter as either one unlocks after you finish, and for demo purposes I opted to go with Ryu for old times’ sake.

Within seconds I was chopping off heads and staggering enemies with throwing stars. A perfect dodge gives you a small window to press the attack with a counter-strike that breaks through enemy defenses. There’s also a perfect parry that consists of attacking an enemy right as they’re about to attack you, but it’s an awkward window to exploit and doesn’t feel nearly as satisfying when you’re in the heat of combat (and for those who want a less crunchy experience, there’s an option in the settings menu to turn hitstop completely off).

Ninja Gaiden 4 thrives when you’re constantly moving and trying to combo light, heavy, and projectile attacks into a conveyor belt of carnage. Doing so builds up meter to unleash special attacks or enter a time-limited transformation that alters your moveset an also makes it more lethal, culminating in stylish new insta-kill animations that swap the screen to black, white, and red. The old obliterations are there too, letting you unleash geysers of blood as you quickly execute foes already suffering from severed limbs. The pulled-out third-person camera also performed well during the demo, rarely tripping me up with off-screen attacks amid the controlled chaos.

I only had time to experience the first layer or two of combat, and can see how two characters, a handful of weapons each, and all of the other secondary moves can add up into a combat system with enough depth to keep things interesting while never losing sight of the moment-to-moment satisfaction that propels a game like this forward and keeps you from rage-quitting once you hit a difficulty spike or two (there are three difficulty modes in Ninja Gaiden 4 that you can swap between at any time).

What I’ll be most curious to see from the finished game is whether its level design will feel equally refined or just like a means to an end. The early couple of sections I experienced included some wall running, wall jumping, and grappling hook swinging, both for platforming and combat. Ninja Gaiden 4 has collectibles and I encountered the occasional fork in the road to explore, while statues dotting the level offer checkpoints at which to buy items from and upgrade skills.

But most of the action was confined to flat arenas without many interesting features outside of some split elevations and grappling hook points. If Team Ninja and Platinum Games are able to imbue the later stages with as much drama in-between the big battles as during them, Ninja Gaiden 4 could be the return to demanding hack-and-slash action fans have been waiting for, perfecting the essentials and carving away the rest.

Here’s a bit of inside baseball: Gamescom is a busy show. More often than not, you’re booked back-to-back for hours on end, zipping from one appointment to the next in a flurry of interviews, previews, and meetings. I pack my schedule so tight I don’t stop for lunch, and playing just 30 minutes of a game at a time can spin you out a bit and make everything sort of blur into one. With all that in mind, I still couldn’t tear myself away from Valor Mortis – the hardcore first-person RPG from the Ghostrunner devs – when it was my final appointment of the day. I stayed at the demo station until I beat the boss. That, in an environment like Gamescom, is high praise indeed.

You awake in a mass grave with your sabre, a pistol, and magic powers infused into your palm a la Bioshock or Dishonored. From there, you have one task: survive. As much as I’m reticent to use the term ‘Soulslike’, you can’t hide from some of the genre trappings: you drop your currency on your gravesite when you die, you have a limited number of health recovery items you need to ration out, attacks come in light and heavy flavours, there’s a dedicated dodge button, and the bosses are sturdy bastards that have multiple health bars. Combat is crunchy and brutal, and if you want to come out on top, you’re probably going to have to learn how to parry effectively.

But the Dark Souls comparison feels off. Aside from the most obvious thing – this is first-person, not third – the flow of combat feels more important here. Valor Mortis isn’t as much of an ‘immersive sim’ as Dishonored, but the perspective does a lot to evoke Arkane’s influential Bethesda debut. Maybe it’s in the spells you can bind to your right hand, maybe it’s in the dashing, jumping, and blade-plunging you can do that makes you feel more acrobatic than any Hunter or Chosen Undead in From’s catalogue, but Valor Mortis, for my money, is a game that rewards speed and aggression more than holding up a shield and ‘rolling around the big guy’.

The beating heart of Ghostrunner is still very much alive inside this ‘imsim’/Soulslike hybrid; it’s clear the game wants you to be deft and svelte as you tear through the muddy trenches of the Napoleonic frontline. You can see this focus on agility even in some of the mechanical choices that One More Level makes – blocking still causes you to take some damage, so parrying is the game’s preferred method of responding to threats. Some attacks are unblockable or can’t be parried, so dodging and then countering is prioritised. To be uncharitable, you could say it’s all one violent, trumped-up version of ‘rock, paper, scissors’, but that’s fine, because it all feels so damn good.

If there’s one standout thing about the Ghostrunner games, it’s the feel of GR-74 in your hands: the 74th Ghostrunner feels both dangerous and fairly fragile, making you a glass cannon blasting through the Dharma Tower. It’s a samurai/ninja fantasy, after all. Your avatar here, in 19th Century Europe, is William: more hardy than a cyborg ninja, but still just some guy when all’s said and done. Taking out possessed footsoldiers and mutated dogs in the blasted trenches is easy enough; learn to respond to their telegraphed attacks and how you can outrun them, and they become naught but feckless drones. It’s the bosses where Valor Mortis is going to shine, though, and that’s why I stayed past my allotted appointment time at One More Level’s booth. I needed to kill one.

As you’d expect, the first phase is simple enough. Use your pistol to target weak points, eat away at the stamina bar, stagger the hulking goliath, and dive in for a ‘poise attack’ that deals stupendous damage. Rinse, repeat, onto phase two. By the end of my session, I was clearing the first phase without even touching my potions – nice! – but the second phase is where things started to get muddy.

An eruption of Cronenberg body horror and some vague dialogue about ‘power’ later, General Lothaire – or The Eagle Bearer, to use his military moniker – turned into a grafted beast akin to Elden Ring’s Godrick: multiple arms, all wielding flintlocks, a huge flagstaff he could bonk you across the arena with, and the ability to recall dead souls from the battlefield to complicate matters. One hit with his cutlass or flag, and you’d be down past half health. Oh crap. My offensive tactics from the first half of the battle became far more defensive, and I was on the back foot. Suddenly, I became keenly aware that I too had a stamina bar, and more often than not it was running on empty. Scrambling to find the right moments to gauge my attacks and respond to his onslaught was the name of the game here. It took me a good 10 deaths, but eventually I ripped the monster’s bones apart. Phew.

But my 30-minute slot was over. It had been for a while. Luckily, it was the end of the day and the only thing I was late for was a glass of kolsch and some aggressively-mid pork knuckle. But that desire – that need – to overcome this boss is emblematic of how Soulslike sickos will feel about this game when playing at home: it’s compelling, gratifying, and it will get its hooks into your brain and make you think ‘OK, I’m not putting this pad down until I’ve beaten this monster.’ One More Level, indeed.
