UK and US Joint Task Force for Digital Asset Regulation

by admin September 23, 2025

On September 22, 2025, the United Kingdom and the United States announced the formation of the “Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future.” The initiative, led by UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Commerce Secretary Scott Bessent, aims to increase collaboration on key financial topics, with a specific focus on digital assets. The move signals a potential step toward a unified Anglo-American regulatory approach for the crypto industry.

UK-US corridor

The task force was unveiled in an official announcement by Chancellor Reeves. Its stated goals are to enhance collaboration on capital markets and digital assets, according to a government press release. This partnership builds on an existing financial relationship valued at £1.2 trillion in mutual investment.

The UK and US are deeply linked with £1.2 trillion invested between us.

Today @SecScottBessent and I have established the Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future, enhancing collaboration on key topics such as capital markets and digital assets.https://t.co/gdtZFzMJXx

— Rachel Reeves (@RachelReevesMP) September 22, 2025

While specific details on the task force’s agenda remain limited, the explicit inclusion of “digital assets” represents an advance in their relation. The collaboration can be motivated by a desire to create a more attractive and streamlined regulatory environment for crypto businesses, as well as grow the capital market the relation between the UK-US.

Europe’s regulatory dominance

A unified UK-US regulatory framework can present a challenge to the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, which is currently the most comprehensive crypto framework globally. This partnership can intensify “regulatory arbitrage,” where crypto firms select where they want to act based on the place that seems more favorable. If the UK and US align their policies, they could create a necessary regulatory bloc capable of shifting the industry’s center of gravity away from the EU.

The establishment of the UK-US task force is an important diplomatic partnership; it represents a potential first move in reshaping global cryptocurrency policy. Industry participants and policymakers will now be closely watching for the task force’s first whitepapers and policy recommendations. The initiative can mark the beginning of a new, two-bloc era in global crypto regulation.

Crypto Market Prediction: Shiba Inu (SHIB) to Hit 2025’s Bottom, XRP: Hope for $3 Recovery Not Lost, Bitcoin Not Losing $100,000, Yet

by admin September 23, 2025

The market has entered a long-term correction period and might lose a serious portion of its valuation. Shiba Inu is getting ready to test out 2025’s bottom at around $0.00001, and Bitcoin is already eyeing $100,000 level. But in the case of Bitcoin and XRP, the correction might not aggravate and keep the overall state of the market neutral.

Shiba Inu weak

There are indications of weakness on Shiba Inu, which could push the token down to its lowest levels in 2025. The asset’s recent break from its long-standing symmetrical triangle structure has put it in a technical position, indicating that more losses are probably next. The 200-day EMA is still acting as strong overhead resistance, and SHIB has dropped below both its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, currently trading at about $0.00001213.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

The failure to stay above these levels indicates that buyers are losing market control and that bearish momentum is developing. The sell-offs, volume spikes, provide additional evidence that this decline is the result of a wider change in market sentiment rather than just a low liquidity event. With little indication of a reversal, the RSI has fallen near oversold territory, indicating intense selling pressure.

The most likely scenario going forward is a test of deeper levels of support. The next critical area is around $0.00001050, which might represent a new local bottom for 2025 if SHIB is unable to stabilize above $0.00001200. The possibility of SHIB starting a protracted downward trend, and possibly wiping out a large portion of its previous annual gains, would be indicated by a break below this level.

The outlook for SHIB remains pessimistic, due to the lack of significant catalysts in the near future and cautious market conditions. In the coming weeks, Shiba Inu looks set to revisit, or even set, its lowest price of 2025, unless there is a significant resurgence in buying interest or a significant shift in the general sentiment toward cryptocurrencies.

XRP: Things are not so bad

With XRP falling below its most recent support, traders are worried that the asset might be headed for even more declines. Although a breakdown is suggested by the drop below the descending resistance line, the situation may not be as clear-cut as it seems. Notwithstanding the technical flaw, a number of indicators suggest that the breakdown might be a hoax, which would allow for a speedy recovery.

XRP is currently trading close to $2.86, touching levels around the 100-day EMA, which frequently serves as strong support in trending markets, and falling below the 50-day EMA. The absence of notable exchange inflows indicates that major holders are not in a rush to sell off tokens, despite the fact that this move initially appears bearish. This lack of panic selling is a crucial indicator that the market might still level off.

XRP/USDT Chart by TradingView

Volume should also be taken into account. Even though selling pressure caused XRP to crash, the activity spike was not as severe as it has been in the past during liquidation events. This gives rise to the possibility that long-term holders are still in a position to recover, while short-term traders may have been flushed out. The $2.80-$2.85 range will be critical in the future.

The token may return to its previous trading channel if XRP can swiftly regain the $2.95-$3.00 range. But failing to do so puts the market at risk of retesting deeper supports close to $2.60. Although it should not be interpreted as a clear indication of collapse, the breakdown should be handled carefully for the time being.

Bitcoin backpedaling

At $112,916, Bitcoin is clearly weak after recently retreating from the $115,000-$116,000 range. Traders are worried that the top cryptocurrency may lose its six-digit psychological threshold of $100,000 as a result of the correction. However, that risk is still far off for the time being.

BTC is consolidating on the daily chart near $111,800, just above the 100-day EMA, while the 200-day EMA is much lower at about $105,000. It would be premature to worry about a collapse below $100,000 unless Bitcoin makes a clear break below this level, which serves as a crucial long-term support zone. The difference between the 200 EMA and the current price levels indicates that Bitcoin has a significant amount of room to withstand volatility before any existential downside risks materialize.

The fact that volume has decreased during this decline suggests that there may not be strong conviction behind the selling pressure. In addition, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has cooled, hovering around 45, indicating that Bitcoin is neither overbought nor oversold. Instead of a sudden decline, this neutral momentum suggests a possible stabilization. However, the overall technical setup does have a bearish bias.

After failing to reach new highs, the market is waning, and Bitcoin might continue to face pressure as altcoins also exhibit weakness. With the 200 EMA at $105,000 serving as the make-or-break level to monitor, a further decline toward $108,000-$106,000 will put investor confidence to the test.

All things considered, Bitcoin is losing ground but is not yet in danger of crossing the $100,000 threshold. At $105,000, the structural support offers a sizable buffer. The discussion will only turn to Bitcoin losing six figures if this level fails; this is still a possibility, but not the current situation.

CleanSpark (CLSK) Shares Rise After Getting $100M Bitcoin-Backed Credit From Coinbase Prime

by admin September 22, 2025

Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark (CLSK) has secured a new $100 million credit facility with Coinbase Prime, giving it access to fresh capital without selling its bitcoin holdings or raising equity.

The shares rose nearly 6% in post-market trading, after the announcement on Monday.

The mining company will use the proceeds for strategic capital expenditures, including expanding CleanSpark’s energy portfolio, scaling its bitcoin mining operations, and investing in high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities, the company said in a press release.

Rather than selling bitcoin to raise cash or selling additional shares of the firm—a move that can dilute the current shareholders—CleanSpark is using the asset as collateral to keep growing while holding on to what it mines.

“Delivering accretive growth using non-dilutive financing is at the core of CleanSpark’s capital strategy,” said Gary A. Vecchiarelli, CleanSpark’s CFO. “Our ‘Infrastructure First’ strategy has been proven historically and will further enhance shareholder value as we expand into more diversified compute opportunities.”

The new raise comes after recent leadership changes hinted at the miner going beyond just mining bitcoin and diversifying into other revenue opportunities. The focus on HPC isn’t surprising, as more and more bitcoin miners are pivoting into hosting machines that cater to HPC and artificial intelligence computing, which requires a tremendous amount of energy, in their data centers.

Shiba Inu Dev Issues New Security Update On Shibarium Bridge

by admin September 22, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Shiba Inu core developer Kaal Dhairya has issued a detailed security update following the September 12 incident that exploited validator signing power on the Shibarium PoS bridge to push a malicious state/exit and withdraw multiple assets. The post, published on September 21, 2025 outlines what happened, what has been done so far, and what will govern a phased restoration once independent reviews conclude.

Shiba Inu Core Dev Shares Another Update

In a personal foreword that framed both the technical and human dimensions of the episode, Dhairya opened by distancing himself from any singular leadership mantle and reiterated the original ethos driving his work. “I want to clarify first: I’m not ‘the lead.’ I never was and never want to be. I’m just a builder who bet on SHIB’s ethos,” he wrote, adding that “in moments like these, you realize you may have just been a pawn in the whole game.”

The Shiba Inu core dev cautioned that, given “the sophistication of this attack,” he could not presently vouch for the safety of any existing keys, and he signaled fatigue with expectations that individual contributors could “keep it all together” without broader structural support.

The account of the incident describes how, at 18:44 UTC on September 12, “unauthorized validator signing power was used to push a malicious state/exit through the PoS bridge.” The method, per the update, combined short-lived stake amplification with malicious checkpoint/exit proofs to authorize withdrawals. Post-incident on-chain activity linked to the attacker is said to include sales of portions of ETH, SHIB and ROAR, though the team is withholding the “evolving wallet graph” while containment and coordination with authorities continue. “We’ll release the full technical narrative after doing so no longer increases risk,” the post states.

Immediate measures include restricting specific bridge operations to prevent new unauthorized exits, upgrading and gating contract pathways covering deposits, withdrawals, claims and rewards, and applying “targeted defensive controls against misuse of delegated stake.” The team says it recovered and secured at-risk BONE at the stake-manager level and notes that any short-term BONE stake under the attacker remains “effectively immobilized” by interventions and protocol mechanics.

Key and custody hygiene steps have involved rotating validator signers and migrating contract control to multi-party hardware custody, while live monitoring and automated alerts continue in coordination with exchanges, external security researchers, incident-response firms and relevant authorities.

The update also engages frequently asked questions about validator compromise and operational accountability. It says validator signing keys were “primarily stored in AWS KMS, with rare usage on developer machines,” and that ultimate responsibility for key management lies with operational leadership. While a single intrusion vector has not been confirmed, preliminary possibilities include a developer machine compromise, a cloud KMS compromise, exposure during an AWS-to-GCP migration, or a supply-chain attack, such as via npm.

The post acknowledges decentralization shortcomings underscored by the fact that “10 of 12 validators” signed the malicious state, and it commits to greater validator decentralization, stronger key-rotation policy, tighter custody, improved disclosures, and higher due-diligence thresholds for sensitive access.

A roadmap preview sets out four gated phases. “Containment” remains ongoing with restricted bridge functionality and live monitoring; “Hardening,” in collaboration with Hexens, includes signer/validator hygiene, policy-level controls such as rate limits, challenge windows and circuit-breakers, and deny-list extensions where technically appropriate.

Next, “Safe Restoration” will not begin until independent reviews sign off on mitigations, post-incident integrity checks pass and drills on test environments succeed, with restoration executed in phases and with rollback levers; finally, a comprehensive technical postmortem will precede a community-reviewed remediation path for affected users and liquidity, with the update noting that “token-specific approaches may differ.”

Timelines remain intentionally unspecified: “We won’t publish dates that could be gamed by an adversary,” the team writes, reiterating that updates will post to official channels.

For Shiba Inu token holders and victims, the message is blunt: beware of scams, ignore unverified “recovery/claim portals,” and expect bridge restrictions to persist “until we confirm it’s safe to restore.” Questions about bridging back to Ethereum, the timing of bridge resumption, validator rotation and full audit all receive the same answer—safety first, details to follow when security allows. On fund recovery and potential compensation, the team says options are being evaluated and any proposal will be published for community review “once viable and secure.”

The Shiba Inu developer closes by reaffirming priorities and situating communication within a disciplined cadence. “Our priorities are unchanged: protect users, secure the network, contain the attacker, and restore services safely.” The next major communication, he writes, will be the technical postmortem and a remediation proposal “once the environment is safe for full disclosure.”

At press time, Shiba Inu traded at $0.00001207.

Bakkt Stock Spikes Past Analysts’ Price Target After Adding Crypto Veteran to Board

by admin September 22, 2025

In brief

  • Crypto industry veteran Michael Alfred is joining the board of Bakkt, a provider of digital asset services.
  • The company’s share price jumped more than 40% on the day.
  • Bakkt has been looking to reposition itself in recent months, including with plans for a potential Bitcoin treasury.

Bakkt Holdings’ share price jumped past analysts’ one-year consensus target on Monday after the provider of digital asset services announced that noted crypto investor and entrepreneur Michal Alfred was joining the board.

BKKT rose more than 40% on the day to close at $14.70 per share, its highest level since late July, according to Yahoo Finance data, and above analysts’ average prediction of $13.26. Alfred was a co-founder of Digital Assets Data, a crypto-focused data platform acquired by NYDIG in 2020, and has invested in multiple high profile firms, including Swan Bitcoin and Bitwise Asset Management.

“We’re doubling down on our mission to build next-generation financial infrastructure by bringing world-class leaders onto our board,” Bakkt CEO Akshay Naheta said in a statement. “Mike’s proven track record and reputation in the digital asset and fintech ecosystem brings unparalleled expertise, a powerful network and institutional credibility.”

The company has repositioned itself in recent months as it looks to elevate its stock price, which is down more than 40% year-to-date and over 94% since reaching an all-time high in late 2021.

In July, Bakkt announced that it had sold its loyalty rewards business for $11 million as it looked to focus more tightly on digital asset infrastructure.

The sale aimed to streamline operations and allow the company to focus on core crypto services, including custody, stablecoin payments, and tokenized assets. In the second quarter, its crypto business generated more than $568 million in revenue, while the loyalty unit brought in some $10 million.

In June, Bakkt notified the U.S. SEC of plans to sell up to $1 billion in securities to provide fresh capital for a possible expansion of its corporate treasury to include Bitcoin. That followed less than three weeks after the company updated its investment policy, allowing it to include Bitcoin and other digital assets as part of a broader treasury strategy.

Earlier this month, investment bank Benchmark Company initiated coverage with a buy rating and price target of $13. Analyst Mark Palmer wrote that the company “is poised for a fresh start after a period of restructuring that has streamlined its focus and reset its growth trajectory.”

“The divestiture of its custody business and the pending sale of its legacy loyalty business mark a decisive exit from capital-intensive, non-core operations that weighed on its profitability and investor confidence,” Palmer wrote.

He noted Naheta’s hiring in March and the Bitcoin and stablecoin initiatives, among other positive developments.

In a statement, Alfred said he was looking forward to working with Bakkt on its next growth phase.

“Bakkt has a unique opportunity to deliver a trusted fintech platform for institutions in four transformative trends over the next decade: digital asset trading, stablecoin payments, AI agents, and Bitcoin,” he said.

Helius buys $167m in Solana amid corporate treasury shift

by admin September 22, 2025

Helius Medical Technologies has joined an exclusive club. Its acquisition of 760,190 SOL, worth $167 million, places the Pantera-backed firm among the largest public-company holders of the asset, signaling its aggressive shift in treasury strategy.

Summary

  • Helius Medical acquired 760,190 SOL worth $167 million, making it one of the largest public holders of the token.
  • The purchase follows a $500 million raise led by Pantera and Summer Capital, with plans to scale holdings and explore staking.

According to a press release dated September 22, the neurotech company has initiated its digital asset treasury strategy with the purchase of over 760,190 Solana (SOL) at an average cost basis of $231 per token.

The move, guided by Pantera Capital’s Cosmo Jiang, who serves as a board observer, effectively redeploys a significant portion of the capital from a recent $500 million raise. Notably, Helius retains a substantial war chest of more than $335 million in cash, potentially earmarked for further SOL purchases.

“We are excited to embark on our SOL accumulation plan in an efficient manner. The initial accumulation at a lower cost basis than recent market prices, while still retaining the large majority of its capital raised for more opportunistic purchases, showcases how laser focused the team is on maximizing shareholder value by having market awareness and being responsible stewards of capital,” Jiang said.

From neurotech to Solana treasury company

Helius first outlined its digital asset treasury strategy earlier this month when it raised $500 million in a deal led by Pantera Capital and Summer Capital. That raise preceded a 250% surge in HSDT shares on September 12, a sign that investors saw the pivot as more than a passing experiment.

The September 22 announcement confirms that Solana will anchor the company’s treasury approach, with plans to scale the position over the next 12 to 24 months while exploring staking and DeFi opportunities under what the firm describes as a conservative risk framework.

Helius now occupies a notable position in a rapidly emerging cohort of public companies betting on Solana. Data from CoinGecko tracks nine entities holding a combined 13.4 million SOL, valued at approximately $2.95 billion.

While Helius’s $167 million stake is significant, it places the company behind the current leader, Forward Industries, which holds 6.8 million SOL. Other major holders include DeFi Development Corp. (2.09 million SOL), Upexi (2.01 million SOL), and Sharps Technology (2 million SOL), illustrating a clear trend of corporate capital flowing into the network.

Helius (HSDT) slipped 18% following the Sept. 22 announcement.

U.S., U.K. Form Task Force to Align on Crypto and Capital Markets

by admin September 22, 2025

The U.S. and U.K. have established a joint Transatlantic Taskforce aimed at strengthening cooperation on capital markets and digital assets.

The task force, announced on Sep. 22 by U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, will bring together officials from HM Treasury, the U.S. Treasury and market regulators across both jurisdictions.

Two of the goals of the task force is to develop approaches to digital asset oversight and explore new opportunities in wholesale digital markets.

The group will report within 180 days through the existing U.K.–U.S. Financial Regulatory Working Group, delivering recommendations shaped in close consultation with private industry, the release said.

“London and New York remain the twin pillars of global finance,” Reeves said, adding that closer alignment is essential as technology reshapes markets. Bessent echoed that sentiment during a Downing Street roundtable, calling the initiative a commitment to ensuring innovation in financial markets “does not stop at borders.”

Crypto at the forefront

While the task force’s remit spans traditional capital markets, digital assets are expected to take center stage.

Officials will look at both short-term measures, such as facilitating cross-border use cases while legislation remains in flux, and long-term strategies for advancing wholesale digital market infrastructure.

“With the creation of a joint U.K.-U.S. task force on capital markets and digital assets, we can expect meaningful developments on both sides of the Atlantic,” Mark Aruliah, head of EMEA policy and regulatory affairs at Elliptic, said in an email.

While noting that the U.S. has “set the pace with a pro-innovation agenda,” Aruliah suggested the task force “signals a strong intent to close that gap and position the U.K. more competitively.”

More broadly, the firm described the collaboration as a validation of the digital assets industry itself: “Structured collaboration of this kind will strengthen a shared commitment to higher standards of transparency and accountability, and may establish a global benchmark if other jurisdictions follow suit.”

US, UK Authorities to Form Digital Asset Task Force

by admin September 22, 2025

Treasury authorities in the US and UK have announced the formation of a transatlantic task force to explore “short-to-medium term collaboration on digital assets.”

In Monday notices, the US Treasury Department and HM Treasury said the cross-country effort, taking place through the already established UK-US Financial Regulatory Working Group, would release a report with recommendations within 180 days.

The new task force, called the Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future, will consider crypto laws and regulations as well as how the two countries can collaborate on “wholesale digital markets innovation.”

Source: UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves

The announcement follows a Financial Times report on a meeting last week between UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on how the two countries could work together on crypto regulation.

The discussion reportedly included representatives from several cryptocurrency companies. At the same time, the task force said on Monday that it should “seek input from leading industry experts to ensure that its recommendations are informed by what matters most to industry.”

The US Treasury did not explicitly state whether the task force formation was related to any crypto-related legislation in Congress, such as the law to establish a framework for payment stablecoins, the GENIUS Act. Under the bill, signed into law in July, the US Treasury Department is required to draft regulations with the Federal Reserve before implementation.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase shared the US-UK announcement on its blog on Monday, saying it was “proud” to support the partnership. Daniel Seifert, the exchange’s vice president and regional managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, was present in the discussions between Reeves and Bessent, according to a spokesperson for Coinbase.

Similar approaches to crypto regulation?

The US and UK have both taken steps to address regulatory issues affecting digital assets and companies handling them in 2025. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with US President Donald Trump last week, signing a memorandum of understanding to explore the development of technologies, including artificial intelligence, though the deal is not legally binding.

While the UK Treasury under Reeves said in April that it would focus on crypto rules to “support innovation while cracking down on fraudsters,” the US side under Bessent has pushed an approach that suggests scaling back on regulation.

The US Treasury Secretary said in August that the department would explore “budget-neutral pathways” to acquire Bitcoin (BTC) as part of the US government’s crypto reserve plans.

Central Banks Could Hold Bitcoin Like Gold By 2030: Deutsche Bank

Central Banks Could Hold Bitcoin Like Gold by 2030: Deutsche Bank

by admin September 22, 2025

In a recent report, Deutsche Bank, one of the biggest investment banks in the world, gave a prediction that the central banks could soon start holding Bitcoin just like they hold gold, and this might happen by the year 2030.

The research has become a topic of discussion among crypto investors, after Matthew Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck, pointed it out in public, and it picked up interest because this would be the first time central banks use Bitcoin as part of their official reserves.

Matthew Sigel shares the research on X | Source: X

Bitcoin Will Stand Beside Gold, Not Replace It

The bank explained that Bitcoin will not fight Gold for position but will instead stand beside it. Moreover, both assets are seen as “safe” places to keep value during hard times in the economy. The report said that the central banks may slowly add more Bitcoin and gold into their reserves.

“So long as we are human, Bitcoin and other alternative assets will likely continue to compete for our attention.” Deutsche Bank wrote.

One reason behind this idea is due to Bitcoin’s limited supply. Out of its maximum cap of 21 million coins, nearly 19.92 million are already in circulation, which means about 95% is already unlocked. The final 5% will only be mined over the next 115 years, which would make the cryptocurrency scarce as time goes on.

With its current market cap standing at $2.2 trillion, the bank said scarcity and its reputation as a hedge against inflation could drive governments to include it in their reserves.

Lessons from Gold’s Past

The report also compared Bitcoin to gold’s early history. At an early stage, Gold was not always trusted, it faced doubts from investors and saw huge drops in its price.

It even went through a 60% price fall between 1980 and 2001 before becoming one of the most important assets in the world. Today, the asset is worth more than $20 trillion.

Deutsche Bank believes Bitcoin is following a similar path, with regulation, and liquidity helping it mature. The bank also stressed that Bitcoin’s volatility will ease as adoption grows, just like gold became more stable over time.

The research further pointed out that both assets are hitting record highs. In 2025, gold climbed to $3,703 per ounce, while Bitcoin reached $123,500 per coin. The bank said this thanks to the weakness in the dollar, as well as doubts about the independence of the US Federal Reserve.

However, Deutsche Bank notes that Bitcoin and gold will not replace the US dollar. Instead, the dollar will stay the main reserve, while gold and Bitcoin act as extra safe assets.

$180 Billion XRP Faces Its Biggest Upgrade Yet With New Ripple DeFi Roadmap

by admin September 22, 2025

Ripple’s new roadmap makes it clear that XRP, already valued at $180 billion, is being promoted as an institutional DeFi asset at a time when the sector is demonstrating its true size: $161.8 billion is locked in protocols, $292.8 billion in stablecoins, $15.6 billion is traded daily on DEXes and there is $23 billion in perpetuals volume, according to DefiLlama.

The message is clear: XRPL is evolving beyond payments to encompass the compliance, credit and tokenized markets, where billions are already changing hands daily.

1/ Institutional DeFi is here and the XRP Ledger has solidified its position as the trusted open source settlement layer for global institutions.

The next phase of the roadmap starts now. Explore it below and read the full blog for details 🧵⬇️ https://t.co/YLQ9Po8xMQ

— RippleX (@RippleXDev) September 22, 2025

Upgrades are now live, with on-chain proof of regulatory status, freeze controls for issuers and simulation tools for reducing errors. These features address regulators’ concerns, contributing to the growth of XRPL’s stablecoin, which recently surpassed $1 billion in a single month, and its position in the top 10 real-world asset chains, valued at $15.6 billion in DeFi. XRP’s role as a settlement asset within this system continues to expand.

Source: DefiLlama

The bigger shift will come with version 3.0. A protocol-level lending system will pool liquidity and issue loans natively under KYC/AML standards, creating cheaper institutional credit and direct yield opportunities. The Multi-Purpose Token standard, due in October, will allow bonds and structured products to be issued and traded directly on XRPL.

Bottom line

These are not side experiments but are ways of pulling regulated money into markets where XRP is both the collateral and the liquidity rail.

Privacy is next. Zero-knowledge proofs are being developed to enable institutions to transact and collateralize positions without revealing details while still passing audits.

In a market where ETFs are pulling in inflows of $270 million in a single day and stablecoins are approaching $300 billion, Ripple’s plan signals that XRP is not just surviving but is being positioned to sit at the heart of the largest flows in digital finance.
