Burn, Mint, Repeat: Ripple USD Stablecoin Breaks into Top 100 After $11,000,000 Mint

by admin September 24, 2025

Ripple’s stablecoin desk is playing active supply games, with the latest sequence showing both sides of the ledger. First, there was an eight million RLUSD mint, then an eleven million burn, and then another three million tokens spun out of the treasury.

The pattern is not random; it is controlled cycling that shows Ripple is adjusting liquidity around live flows rather than just letting supply drift.

The total float is now around $741 million, which is enough to push Ripple USD above Raydium — the token of Solana’s main decentralized exchange — in the market cap rankings. The jump is important because RLUSD is still pretty young, only launching months ago, but it is already moving $150 million in daily volume.

That means it has a turnover rate of over 20% of supply every single day. For a stablecoin that is still finding its distribution rails, that kind of speed is a statement.

What is so specific about Ripple USD stablecoin?

What makes RLUSD stand out is how well institutions are already plugging in. Investors can swap tokenized fund shares like BlackRock’s BUIDL into RLUSD using Securitize, closing the loop between tokenized treasuries and dollars.

DBS Bank is listing RLUSD alongside sgBENJI in Asia, enabling trading, borrowing and collateralizing using Ripple’s stablecoin in the same environment as tokenized money market funds.

The mint-burn-mint cycle shows that Ripple is treating RLUSD like a live monetary instrument, not a one-way issuance machine. If you look at the market size of Raydium, it is already overtaking some of the big names in DeFi.

Connections with large institutions show the target is bigger than crypto trading pairs; Ripple wants RLUSD to be at the center of global tokenized finance.

Ripple, Securitize Bring RLUSD to BlackRock and VanEck Tokenized Funds

by admin September 24, 2025

Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin is being integrated into tokenized money-market funds from BlackRock and VanEck, giving holders of the products a direct redemption path into on-chain liquidity.

Through a new smart contract on Securitize’s platform, investors in BlackRock’s BUIDL and VanEck’s VBILL funds can now swap their shares for RLUSD on demand, creating what Ripple calls a 24/7 stablecoin off-ramp for tokenized treasuries.

The move positions RLUSD as a settlement layer for real-world assets (RWA) while broadening its institutional footprint.

Jack McDonald, Ripple’s SVP of Stablecoins, said in a prepared statement thathe tie-up “is a natural next step as we continue to bridge traditional finance and crypto,” framing RLUSD as regulatory-compliant and enterprise-grade.

RLUSD — backed 1:1 with liquid reserves and issued under a New York DFS trust charter — has climbed past $700 million in circulation since launching last year. Ripple has been pushing its use in cross-border payments and DeFi pools, while now anchoring it to institutional RWA platforms.

The Securitize tie-in also sets up RLUSD for deployment on the XRP Ledger, giving Ripple a dual push of a regulatory-compliant stablecoin issuance on one side, and DeFi-facing usability on the other.

SEC Eyes New Crypto ‘Innovation Exemption’ By Late 2025

by admin September 24, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

In a recent interview, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman discussed the importance of establishing a crypto market structure legislation and the regulatory agency’s effort to implement a rule exception for digital asset firms in the coming months.

SEC To Offer More Crypto Clarity By Year-End

On Tuesday, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins joined FOX Business to discuss the US Congress’s crypto legislation and the agency’s measures to make the industry “stand on firm ground” and provide the long-awaited regulatory clarity to advance the digital assets sector in America.

Atkins stated that the Commission is “trying to get the marketplace some kind of stable platform upon which they can introduce new products,” citing the recently approved new generic listing standards for spot crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as one big step toward their goals.

The SEC Chief affirmed that “a lot is going on” for the agency, including working on rulemaking and setting an innovation exemption for crypto firms by the end of 2025. Following the successful “Crypto Week” in July, he revealed that the Commission was exploring some regulatory changes to boost innovation.

As reported by Bitcoinist, the Chairman shared that the agency was considering an innovation exemption that would “permit novel ways of trading and more narrowly tailored forms of relief to facilitate the building of other components of a tokenized securities ecosystem.”

The rule exemption would allow crypto firms to quickly launch products without having to comply with “burdensome prescriptive regulatory requirements that hinder productive economic activity.”

Instead, crypto firms would “be able to comply with certain principles-based conditions designed to achieve the core policy aims of the federal securities laws,” Atkins detailed in a late July speech.

CFTC, SEC To Work ‘Hand in Glove’

During the interview, the SEC Chairman also discussed the regulator’s ongoing collaboration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the potential consolidation of the two agencies, with Atkins as the leader.

It’s worth noting that the CFTC is currently in leadership limbo as the confirmation process of President Trump’s nominee for Chairman, Brian Quintenz, has stalled following a request from the White House.

The regulatory agency, intended to be a five-person, bipartisan commission, is down to only acting Chair Caroline Pham, who is also expected to depart from the agency once a permanent chief is appointed.

“I have my hands full right now,” Atkins said, shutting down the idea. “We are working hand in glove right now with the CFTC, so harmonization is what I envision. People have been discussing this issue for a long time, and I think we’re at a point now, especially when we look at the changes in the digital asset area, that it’s incumbent on the two agencies to work hand in glove.”

What we have to really focus on is that over the years, there’s been (…) jockeying for position, and we don’t need regulatory turf battles. The field is littered with bodies of would-be products (…) that over the years have been torpedoed by the lack of certainty as between what falls within the SEC’s realm and what’s the CFTC’s realm.

Speaking about crypto market structure legislation, the regulator highlighted the importance of the bill. He explained that with the enactment of the GENIUS Act for stablecoin regulations, the market structure must be a priority “so that there’s certainty in the marketplace and direction to the SEC and CFTC to work together.”

Ultimately, he anticipated that the two regulatory agencies would work on joint rulemaking to “try to future-proof these rules and the relationships from some rogue regulations in the future.”

Sam Bankman-Fried’s X Account Awakens, Sends FTT Token Soaring

by admin September 24, 2025

In brief

  • SBF’s verified X account posted “gm” Tuesday evening despite prison restrictions on internet use.
  • FTT token surged 32% following the tweet, with volume climbing from $10.4M to $59M.
  • The FTX estate has filed a $1.1 billion lawsuit against Genesis Digital and plans to distribute $1.6 billion to creditors by September 30.

On Tuesday evening, Sam Bankman-Fried’s verified X account posted a two-letter greeting, “gm,” short for “good morning.”

While the greeting has become a familiar catchphrase in the crypto community, SBF’s message drew immediate attention because inmates in U.S. federal prisons are not supposed to have direct access to social media.

The account later clarified in a reply that SBF himself is not posting, and that a friend was doing so on his behalf, after this story went live.

FTT, the native token of the now-bankrupt FTX exchange, is trading at around $1.10 at the time of writing, up roughly 32% over the past 24 hours. Daily trading volume has surged almost sixfold, from approximately $10.4 million to nearly $59 million, according to data on CoinGecko.

Once used to cut fees and serve as collateral on FTX, the token lost its core utility after the exchange’s November 2022 bankruptcy. It continues to draw speculative trading interest during the estate’s liquidation process.

SBF, founder and former CEO of the shuttered FTX exchange, is serving a 25-year federal sentence after being convicted on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy for siphoning off billions in customer funds from the exchange and misleading investors about its finances.

He last tweeted at length months earlier in a series of posts reflecting on layoffs, workplace challenges, and even government bureaucracy, writing about the difficulty of firing employees, expressing sympathy for those facing unemployment, and joking about not checking emails for days.

A week later, he thanked former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for a prison interview.

Earlier on Tuesday, the FTX Recovery Trust filed a lawsuit against Bitcoin mining firm Genesis Digital Assets, seeking to claw back $1.1 billion. The lawsuit alleges that the company received preferential payments in the months leading up to the exchange’s collapse.

The move comes just days before the estate is set to begin its third major creditor distribution on September 30, which will release about $1.6 billion to verified claimants.

Tweets from prison

SBF was transferred to the Federal Correctional Institution Terminal Island in Los Angeles in April, after 18 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Under the Bureau of Prisons’ rules, federal inmates may use TRULINCS, a secure messaging system that allows text‐only communication (no attachments) with approved contacts. The system is monitored and screened, and does not grant access to the wider internet.

Possession or use of a contraband cellphone is strictly prohibited, and if discovered, it can lead to disciplinary action, including solitary confinement or docking of “good conduct time.”

Some inmates’ attorneys attempt to post statements: the inmate sends a text or letter to someone outside, who then posts it to their social media handles.

Decrypt reached out to Sam Bankman-Fried’s defense counsel at Shapiro Arato Bach LLP, as well as officials at the Federal Bureau of Prisons and FCI Terminal Island, for comment on the “gm” post but did not immediately receive a response.

Editor’s note: Additional details on who tweeted from SBF’s official account were later added to this story.

FTT price surges 30% following “gm” tweet from SBF’s account

by admin September 24, 2025

FTT price jumped more than 30% after a surprise “gm” post on Sam Bankman-Fried’s X account sparked a wave of speculative trading.

Summary

  • A “gm” post from SBF’s X account sent FTT up ~30% intraday on Sept. 23–24.
  • Derivatives volume and open interest jumped sharply, raising liquidation risk.
  • Daily chart shows momentum but longer-term averages and oscillators advise caution.

On Sept. 23–24, FTT staged a sharp, headline-grabbing move. The token climbed to an intraday high near $1.20, up roughly 30% from prior levels, then settled around $0.97 as of press time as traders took profits and the initial frenzy faded.

FTT is still up about 22% on the day. Weekly gains now stand at 20%, while the token has risen 7.9% in the past month. Despite this jump, FTT remains 99% below its all-time high of $84.19 from 2021.

The latest surge was accompanied by a sharp rise in trading volume. FTT saw a 281% increase in 24-hour spot volume to $49.6 million. According to Coinglass data, derivatives activity also increased, with open interest rising 38% to $3.3 million and volume jumping 1,353% to $30.3 million.

These numbers suggest a rise in leveraged speculation, which increases the likelihood of significant fluctuations in either direction.

Social signal drives sharp reaction

The catalyst was a short “gm” message posted from SBF’s account on Sept. 23, marking the first notable activity in months. The post was enough to spark heavy speculation, even though a friend later clarified that they were the ones who created the post and not SBF.

Traders quickly moved into FTT, echoing similar market reactions to prior activity on the account earlier this year.

Community response ranged from memes about “pumping from prison” to skepticism about the token’s value, given FTT’s lack of utility after the collapse of the FTX exchange. The latest episode reinforces how attention around SBF’s account can still generate volatility, even without fundamental backing.

FTT price technical analysis

The technical picture shows short-term strength despite overall mixed signals. On the daily chart, FTT overextended, briefly rising above the upper Bollinger Band at $1.05 before falling back. After cooling from overbought levels during the spike, the relative strength index is currently in neutral territory at 54.7.

FTT daily chart. Credit: TradingView

Moving averages point to potential short-term support. A short-term bullish bias is confirmed by the 10-, 20-, and 50-day EMAs all sitting below the current price. This structure is also supported by the 100-day EMA at $0.92. FTT is still in a longer-term downward trend though, as the 200-day EMA at $1.10 is still above the current price.

Momentum indicators are split. The momentum oscillator and commodity channel index are bearish, indicating short-term exhaustion, while the MACD displays a buy signal.

The immediate resistance, if the rally picks up steam, is between $1.05 and $1.20. Support on the downside can be found at $0.90 and $0.80, and a deeper correction could result in a retest of $0.70.

What Does Divergence From Stocks Mean?

by admin September 24, 2025

Much has been made of bitcoin’s underperformance to gold — which Tuesday hit yet another in a long series of records, crossing above $3,800 per ounce for the first time. But gold isn’t the only asset partying while bitcoin stagnates under $115,000.

U.S. stocks have also been notching record highs on what seems to be a daily basis, including bellwether S&P 500 index, which is perched just below the 6,700 level.

Even with BTC struggling of late, the world’s largest crypto remains in a bull market and this isn’t the first time this cycle its performance has diverged from that of the S&P 500.

The first divergence occurred between March and July of 2024. During this period, the S&P 500 climbed from around 4,000 to 4,600, while bitcoin declined from just under $30,000 to $25,000.

The second divergence took place later that year when the S&P 500 rallied from 5,200 to 6,000 from April to October. with only a brief summer pause. Bitcoin, however, did not follow, with its rally not beginning until November (alongside the presidential election results).

As for this most recent divergence, the S&P 500 since May has moved steadily higher, while bitcoin has consolidated within the $110,000 to $120,000 range. Bitcoin did break to new all time highs in August, but those gains were quickly reversed, with BTC returning to the low end of its previous range.

History suggests that while bitcoin and the S&P 500 often move in the same general direction, they periodically diverge for extended periods. The data from at least this current cycle suggests that bitcoin is likely to catch up to gold.

CFTC To Explore Stablecoins for Derivatives Collateral

CFTC To Explore Stablecoins for Derivatives Collateral

by admin September 24, 2025

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission is looking to allow tokenized assets, including stablecoins, to be used in derivatives markets as collateral in a move supported by crypto executives.

CFTC acting chair Caroline Pham said on Tuesday that her agency will “work closely with stakeholders” on the scheme and is encouraging feedback on using tokenized collateral in derivatives markets until Oct. 20.

“The public has spoken: tokenized markets are here, and they are the future. For years I have said that collateral management is the ‘killer app’ for stablecoins in markets.”

If implemented, stablecoins like USDC (USDC) and Tether (USDT) would be treated similarly to traditional collateral like cash or US Treasurys in regulated derivatives trading. Congress passed laws earlier this year regulating stablecoins, which have seen their adoption grow among financial institutions.

Stablecoin, crypto heavyweights back move

Crypto executives from stablecoin issuers Circle Internet Group, Tether, Ripple Labs and crypto exchanges Coinbase and Crypto.com all gave their stamp of approval for the CFTC’s move.

Circle president Heath Tarbert said that the GENIUS Act “creates a world where payment stablecoins issued by licensed American companies can be used as collateral in derivatives and other traditional financial markets.”

“Using trusted stablecoins like USDC as collateral will lower costs, reduce risk, and unlock liquidity across global markets 24/7/365,” Tarbert added.

US President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS Act into law in July. It’s geared toward establishing clear rules for payment stablecoins, but is still awaiting final regulations before implementation.

Coinbase chief legal officer Paul Grewal also backed the move, and said in a X post on Tuesday that “tokenized collateral and stablecoins can unlock US derivatives markets and put us ahead of global competition.”

Source: Paul Grewal

Meanwhile, Jack McDonald, senior vice president of stablecoins at Ripple, said the initiative is a key step toward integrating stablecoins into the “heart of regulated financial markets,” and driving greater efficiency and transparency in derivatives markets.

“Establishing clear rules for valuation, custody, and settlement will give institutions the certainty they need, while guardrails on reserves and governance will build trust and resilience.”

Initiative in the works since early 2025

Pham said the tokenized asset initiative will build on the CFTC’s Crypto CEO Forum and is also part of the previously announced crypto sprint to apply the President’s Working Group on Digital Asset Markets recommendations.

The crypto CEO forum in February called for crypto industry CEOs to provide input on an upcoming digital asset pilot program and discussed the use of tokenized non-cash collateral.

The CFTC’s Global Markets Advisory Committee also released a recommendation last year from its Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee on expanding the use of non-cash collateral through distributed ledger technology.

US crypto regulatory landscape changing

Pham’s announcement comes the same day Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Paul Atkins said his agency is working on an innovation exemption that would act as a regulatory carve-out, giving crypto companies temporary relief from older securities rules while the SEC develops tailored regulations.

He also announced Project Crypto in July, which hopes to modernize the securities rules and regulations around crypto and move America’s financial markets to move onchain.

BlackRock Dominates With $260M Crypto ETF Revenue, Outpaces Rivals

by admin September 24, 2025

In less than two years, BlackRock has established its Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as a multi-million-dollar business line. According to data shared by Leon Waidmann, research director at the Onchain Foundation, the firm’s crypto ETF business generates $260 million in annualized revenue, comprising $218 million from Bitcoin ETFs and $42 million from Ethereum products.

BlackRock has quietly built a crypto empire!👇

In less than 2 ye,ars their Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are generating over $260M in annual revenue.

🔸 $218M from Bitcoin
🔸 $42M from Ethereum

That’s a quarter-billion-dollar business, built almost overnight. For comparison, many… pic.twitter.com/NuhZnlMMAS

— Leon Waidmann 🔥 (@LeonWaidmann) September 23, 2025

Blockchain analytics platform Dune, corroborates the firm’s dominance, reporting that BlackRock has close to $85 billion in assets under management (AUM), representing over 57% of the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market. Fidelity’s ETF takes in $22.8 billion, capturing only 15.34% of the market.

BlackRock’s dominance is reinforced by consistent ETF flows. According to Farside, IBIT has attracted over $60B and ETHA $13B since launch. On September 22nd, IBIT flows were flat while ETHA saw a $15.1M outflow. Even with daily fluctuations, BlackRock’s market share remains unchallenged.

Institutional Benchmark and Market Impact

BlackRock’s release of the size of revenue represents a significant change. Cryptocurrency ETFs are no longer a novelty. They are core profit generators for those in asset management and investment management. To put it in perspective, many fintech unicorns take ten years to generate a similar amount of revenue.

Waidmann argued that such profitability could be a jumping point for pension plans, sovereign funds, and insurance companies, pushing the TradFi to see a digital asset as a legitimate business line rather than as a novel opportunity.

BlackRock’s large market share might demonstrate to other financial platforms that regulated crypto ETFs can be profitable revenue streams as well as prudent and long-term value to traditional long-established institutional portfolios.

Looking Ahead: Beyond ETFs

At the start of the month, we reported that BlackRock is in fact exploring tokenized ETFs shortly after the success of their Bitcoin fund. If their existing products can generate $260M annually, tokenization would drive further profitability while creating access to even more investors across global markets.

This trajectory also establishes BlackRock as the leader in crypto ETFs, and perhaps a model for introducing digital assets into traditional finance.

The implications are obvious: crypto has transitioned from being a speculative asset class to being a mainstream revenue producer at the heart of global finance.

BlackRock’s crypto ETFs now play the role of a profitability benchmark for institutions across the globe. Their leadership shows that digital assets are no longer on the fringes of the financial world but are entrenched in mainstream institutional strategy.

As the ETFs open the door, the next stage of BlackRock’s approach could move to tokenized funds and/or broader digital asset participation, changing the way traditional finance intersects with crypto in the coming years.

Crypto Market Prediction: Ethereum (ETH) Loses $4,000, Shiba Inu (SHIB): Hope for $0.00002 Not Lost, Dogecoin (DOGE) Hiding Bullish Card for $0.32

by admin September 24, 2025

Ethereum, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin are all facing pressure after recent pullbacks, but their technical setups suggest different paths forward. Ethereum looks the weakest, struggling near $4,000 with a risk of deeper losses if key supports fail. Shiba Inu is consolidating, showing limited selling pressure and room for recovery if buyers step in. Dogecoin, while also correcting, is holding stronger support levels and could stage a rebound if it regains short-term momentum.

Ethereum slips

Ethereum (ETH) has experienced a significant decline and is endangering the $4,000 mark. Weakness is indicated by the recent break from the symmetrical triangle pattern, as ETH moved sharply lower after failing to maintain its consolidation. Ethereum is currently trading close to $4,185, down more than 5% from the previous session.

Since ETH had been firmly consolidating for weeks and traders were anticipating an increase in volatility, the breakdown is noteworthy. Bulls were disappointed when the breakout turned bearish, confirming resistance at $4,600 and increasing selling pressure.

ETH/USDT Chart by TradingView

A mixed picture is being painted by the moving averages. After breaking through the 50-day moving average, ETH is now depending on the 100-day average, which is at $3,880, as the next important support. If that does not work, the 200-day average at $3,378 will turn into the main target for the downside, which could wipe out a large portion of the summer rally.

The recent red candles also saw a spike in volume, indicating that sellers are currently in charge. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has entered bearish territory after falling below 40. This supports the notion that ETH is overshooting lower, but it might also point to the potential for a short-term relief bounce.

Ethereum runs the risk of plummeting if $4,000 is lost, testing the $3,800 support nearly instantly. Since $4,000 has been regarded as a psychological and technical anchor, failure at this level would result in a significant change in market sentiment.

Ethereum holders are currently facing a crucial time. Restoring confidence would require a bounce above $4,400, but the current momentum points further downward. It has never seemed more likely that ETH will lose $4,000 in recent weeks.

Shiba Inu’s pressure

After briefly breaking below the symmetrical triangle that has been forming since the middle of the year, Shiba Inu is currently trading under pressure near $0.0000122. At first, the move appeared to be the start of a longer downtrend, but current circumstances indicate that there is still hope for a recovery.

Here, the absence of consistent selling pressure is the most crucial element. On-chain data shows no discernible increase in exchange inflows despite the recent decline, indicating that holders are not in a rush to sell their holdings. SHIB has the space to stabilize and possibly push higher in the near future due to the supply side’s relative calm.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

With the 200-day EMA continuing to serve as a broad support zone around $0.0000100, the daily chart displays SHIB consolidating between major moving averages. A sign that capitulation has not occurred is the recent red candles’ volume, which has not increased significantly. With SHIB regaining the $0.0000130-$0.0000135 range, the bulls may regain momentum.

At about 41, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates that the market is somewhat oversold. As technical traders seek out reentry opportunities, this might serve as fuel for a brief recovery rally. Restoring general confidence would begin with a recovery into the $0.0000140 zone.

Even though it might seem far off, $0.000020 is still accessible if the market levels off in Q4. When demand increases, SHIB has historically demonstrated the capacity to move swiftly, and the lack of significant exchange selling lends credence to that theory.

In other words, Shiba Inus are still relevant today. There is still room for recovery, as there are no strong selling signals or technical indicators pointing to oversold levels. If buyers pick up steam again, $0.000020 remains a viable target.

Dogecoin’s hidden strength

Dogecoin is currently trading at about $0.23, having experienced a significant decline after testing resistance at around $0.30. A major bullish card on the chart may position DOGE for a subsequent run toward $0.32, despite the decline initially appearing depressing.

DOGE recently dropped straight onto the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which is serving as a critical support level at the moment. The current configuration raises the possibility that DOGE will use the 50 EMA as a launchpad for recoveries, as it has in the past. The larger bullish structure is unaffected as long as this level is maintained.

Trends in volume indicate that the selling pressure has not been particularly strong. Although there are more red candles, the intensity does not indicate a panic, allowing buyers to reenter the market. Furthermore, the market’s willingness to defend important price zones is indicated by DOGE’s higher lows, which show that it has not completely given up its summer gains.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI), which is currently at 45, is getting closer to neutral. This promotes the notion of a recovery bounce and lessens the chance of an overheated market. The path toward resistance at $0.28-$0.30 may open rapidly if DOGE can regain $0.25 in the near future. The price may eventually test $0.32 if there is a breakout from there.

It is important to note Dogecoin’s resilience in comparison to other assets. Its ability to maintain its trend above long-term averages, such as the 200 EMA, in spite of volatility indicates that its value base has not been lost.

Y Combinator, Base and Coinbase Ventures Launch ‘Fintech 3.0’ as Finance Goes On-Chain

by admin September 24, 2025

Y Combinator, the Silicon Valley startup incubator behind Airbnb, Coinbase and Stripe, is collaborating with Base and Coinbase Ventures to create the next wave of so-called “Fintech 3.0” companies, according to a blog post on Tuesday.

The firms have opened applications to these “Fintech 3.0” companies, saying it is looking for themes such as expanding stablecoins beyond the dollar into local currencies, tokenizing assets such as stocks and credit markets and building consumer-facing applications including AI-driven financial agents.

This is part of these companies’ continuing efforts to move the financial industry on-chain. A prime example of this is Base, the Ethereum overlay blockchain attached to Coinbase which recently partnered with Shopify to offer global USDC payments.

“Our mission at Base is to build a global economy that increases innovation, creativity, and freedom. To do this, we need more founders to build on-chain businesses so that anyone, anywhere can participate in the global economy,” the blog post said.

The initiative comes as U.S. lawmakers move to clarify rules for crypto. The GENIUS Act, a new U.S. law governing stablecoins, aims to bring federal clarity by directing regulators to come up with specific rules for stablecoin issuers. U.S. lawmakers continue to work on broader crypto market structure legislation as well.
