How to craft bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest

by admin October 1, 2025

It gets harder and harder to survive as the days pass, so you’ll want to stock up on as many bandages as you can get your hands on in 99 Nights in the Forest. They’re your priority item for reviving other players, and come in clutch if you’re playing alone and can’t self-revive.

You’ll find the bulk of them while roaming the woods, but it’s also possible to craft bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest after locating one of the Tool Workshop variants and collecting a few fairly common resources.

You can craft bandages at the Anvil in 99 Nights in the Forest, though the crafting station may not look the same every time you play. Depending on your world and the current event, the map icon can be a different color and surrounded by alternative enemy types, but the principle is always the same.

To craft a bandage , you’ll need:

  • Campfire Level 4
  • An upgraded axe or chainsaw
  • (2) Rabbit’s Foot
  • (2) Wolf Pelt

The Tool Workshop—a big, grey building marked with an anvil icon—typically houses the crafting station. You can chop the branches blocking the entrance down with any upgraded axe or a chainsaw.

The meteor shower update later added a lava version that’s destroyed in a fiery rain of spacerocks a few days into random matches. You’ll just have to pick up the pieces of the Anvil around the building and put it back together to get it up and running again.

How to use the Anvil

Before you can make anything, you’ll need to interact with the bench beside the Anvil and select the bandage recipe. Then place the ingredients on top of the station one by one, and they should snap into place—it can be a little finicky, so if it says you’re missing something, pick it back up and try again.

There’s a cooldown between crafts, so you’ll have to make one bandage per day if you have extra materials. I usually just dump surplus at the station instead of hauling them back to camp to save myself a trip.

How to get more bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest

You can get more bandages by finding them in chests, buildings, or just hanging around out in the open. Unfortunately there’s a bit of RNG involved, so you may hurt for them more in some runs while struggling to find enough storage space in others.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Here’s a quick list of other ways to get bandages:

  • Locate the hospital after upgrading to Campfire Level 3, there’s usually at least two or three inside (plus a medkit and other valuable resources)
  • Unlock the Medic class to start with two extra bandages (and a handy buff to revive 99 Nights in the Forest teammates)

IREN stock price could soar
NFT Gaming

Here’s why IREN stock jumped after the CoreWeave and Meta Platforms deal

by admin September 30, 2025

IREN stock price jumped by more than 2% and approached its all-time high after a major $14 billion deal between Meta Platforms and CoreWeave and after a bullish report on AI spending from Citi.

Summary

  • IREN stock price soared after a big deal between Meta Platforms and CoreWeave.
  • Meta will buy AI computing power from CoreWeave in a $14 billion deal.
  • IREN jumped as investors predicted a similar deal with a hyperscaler.

IREN, a popular Bitcoin (BTC) mining company, jumped to $46.80, a few points below the all-time high of $49. It has advanced by 870% from its lowest level this year, bringing its market capitalization to more than $14 billion.

IREN shares jumped after Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook and WhatsApp, inked a $14 billion deal with CoreWeave. Meta will take advantage of CoreWeave’s infrastructure to accelerate its AI development.

The deal came a few weeks after Microsoft reached a similar deal with Nebius. Therefore, IREN stock is soaring as investors anticipate similar deals in the coming months as it ramps up construction of its AI data centers.

In a report published today, Citigroup raised its estimate of AI data center spending. The Wall Street bank now expects that technology giants will spend $2.8 trillion on AI data centers by 2029, up from its previous estimate of $2.3 trillion.

Citi also expects that the top hyperscalers, such as Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Google, will spend $490 billion by the end of 2026, up from the previous estimate of $420 billion.

If these estimates are correct, it means that companies providing AI infrastructure solutions, such as IREN, will continue to perform well in the foreseeable future.

In a recent statement, IREN said that it had doubled its AI cloud to 23k Nvidia and AMD GPUs as it seeks to become a major player in the industry. Its near-term target is to have about 60,000 GPUs.

Most importantly, it hopes to reach an annualized run rate of $500 million by Q1 2026, a large figure for a segment that generated just $7 million in revenue in the last quarter.

IREN stock price technical analysis

IREN stock chart | Source: crypto.news

The daily timeframe chart shows that the IREN share price has been in a strong uptrend over the past few months, moving from a low of $4.96 in April to $46 today, bringing its market capitalization to more than $12 billion.

IREN’s share price has remained significantly above all moving averages, while the rising Average Directional Index shows that the trend is gaining momentum.

However, IREN’s stock has become highly overbought as the Relative Strength Index and Stochastics have risen.

Therefore, the most likely scenario is that the stock continues rising as AI momentum accelerates and as traders wait for a potential deal with a hyperscaler. However, a smaller pullback cannot be ruled out in the near term as investors begin to book profits.

Robinhood Eyes Europe With Prediction Markets Push

by admin September 30, 2025

Robinhood Markets (Nasdaq: HOOD) is moving to expand its footprint in the fast-evolving world of event-based trading. The company’s stock surged past $142 this week, marking an all-time high, following reports that it plans to take its prediction markets product beyond U.S. borders, specifically targeting the United Kingdom and broader European market.

CEO Vlad Tenev confirmed earlier that users had already traded more than 4 billion event contracts on the platform, which first introduced prediction markets ahead of the 2024 U.S. election. Bloomberg later reported that Robinhood is in talks with the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority to bring the product overseas. The company is also ramping up offerings tied to major sporting events like college football and the NFL.

Robinhood Prediction Markets just crossed 4 billion event contracts traded all-time, with over 2 billion in Q3 alone. And we’re just getting started. pic.twitter.com/13LxjqWaNt

— Vlad Tenev (@vladtenev) September 29, 2025

Robinhood’s move into prediction markets aligns with its user base’s appetite for risk, extending beyond meme stocks and crypto into event-driven speculation. Financially, the strategy appears to be working: Q2 net revenue surged 45% to $989 million, with operating costs rising just 12%, leading to $386 million in net income and fueling a 275% year-to-date rally in HOOD stock.

Robinhood eyes retail access to private equity deals

Meanwhile, Robinhood is also waiting on a regulatory green light from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch its Robinhood Ventures Fund I, a retail-accessible product offering exposure to private, pre-IPO companies. If approved, the fund would trade under the ticker ‘RVI’ on the NYSE and invest in high-growth firms through their IPO phases and beyond.

Previously, the company unveiled tokenized stock products in Europe, giving users access to firms like OpenAI and SpaceX. Ventures Fund I would extend this access into the U.S., challenging long-standing restrictions that favor institutions.

Taken together, the prediction market expansion and the SEC fund application reflect Robinhood’s dual push: one outward, toward new global markets and asset types, and one inward, to democratize traditionally off-limits financial instruments.

The Trump phone is late

by admin September 30, 2025

I’ve got bad news if you’ve been impatiently awaiting the release of the Trump Mobile T1: it looks like the gold-tinted, bargain basement smartphone with “American values” is running late. It was initially meant to launch in September, but with only a few hours of the month left, that’s looking increasingly unlikely.

The T1 was announced in June, along with the launch of Trump Mobile’s $47.45 monthly service plan. The release date was always a little unclear — the Trump Organization’s press release promised the phone would arrive in August, while the Trump Mobile website claimed September — but either way, it hasn’t happened. That means any buyers who actually stumped up the $100 deposit for the hardware still have nothing to show for it.

We’ve known this was coming for a while. Within weeks of the phone’s announcement, the Trump Mobile website was quietly updated to remove mentions of that September release — the phone’s store page now promises it will arrive “later this year.” The Trump Organization didn’t respond to our request for comment on the reason for the delay or when the phone is expected to arrive.

The launch date isn’t the only detail about the phone that’s changed. The T1 is now supposed to have a 6.25-inch screen rather than 6.78-inch, and the spec sheet no longer features the confusing, but strangely endearing, promise of a “5000mAh long life camera.” Despite the smaller size, the low quality render above remains our only glimpse yet of the T1’s design outside a few ads featuring badly edited images of iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones.

Crucially, Trump Mobile also no longer claims the T1 is made in the USA. Instead, it carefully suggests there are “American hands behind every device,” and that it was “designed with American values in mind.”

The T1 Phone will cost $499 when — or if — it arrives later this year.

Societe Generale launches stablecoins on Morpho and Uniswap

by admin September 30, 2025

Societe Generale’s digital asset arm is now live on Morpho and Uniswap, moving its regulated EURCV and USDCV stablecoins beyond centralized exchanges and into the heart of decentralized lending and spot markets.

Summary

  • Societe Generale-FORGE has deployed euro and dollar stablecoins on Morpho and Uniswap.
  • Users can borrow against BTC, ETH, and tokenized money market funds, with Flowdesk and MEV Capital managing liquidity and risk.
  • The move reflects growing institutional interest in DeFi and tests how regulated bank-issued stablecoins perform in decentralized markets.

According to a press release dated Sept. 30, SG-FORGE has deployed its euro- and dollar-denominated stablecoins on two foundational DeFi protocols. On Morpho, users can now borrow EURCV and USDCV against a basket of crypto collateral, including wrapped Bitcoin and staked Ether.

Simultaneously, the stablecoins are listed on Uniswap, with Flowdesk providing liquidity for spot trading. The move, facilitated by specialized partners like MEV Capital for risk management, marks the division’s first major foray into the public Ethereum DeFi landscape.

Why Societe Generale’s stablecoin deployment matters

Per the statement, the deployment is a direct response to growing institutional demand to interact with digital assets outside the confines of traditional market hours and centralized gatekeepers.

SG-FORGE said it was positioning its stablecoins not as replacements for existing options, but as regulated instruments for specific, capital-efficient use cases.

“SG-FORGE aims to offer a complementary approach to its clients who would like to use these robust and regulated assets 24/7 in the context of financial operations,” the company noted, suggesting a shift from viewing DeFi as a separate entity to treating it as another operational venue, akin to a new trading floor or settlement network.

Beyond the familiar crypto collateral of wrapped Bitcoin and staked Ether, the Morpho vaults introduce a significant new asset class: tokenized money market funds. Specifically, the USTBL and EUTBL funds issued by Spiko will be accepted, blending traditional yield-bearing instruments with decentralized lending for the first time in this context.

Overseeing this cautious expansion is MEV Capital, which has been tasked with a critical curatorial role. The firm will supervise the list of eligible crypto assets used as collateral, ensure optimal capital allocation across the vaults, and act as a backstop by managing the risk of default as a last resort.

Uniswap’s role in the rollout is equally significant. By placing EURCV and USDCV into automated trading pools, Societe Generale is testing whether bank-issued stablecoins can operate under the same liquidity dynamics that govern crypto-native tokens.

Turns out a relatively important plot point in The Witcher games shouldn’t exist at all, so says the books’ author

by admin September 30, 2025

The thing about an adaptation, is that sometimes you’ve got to twist things slightly to better do what you want to do. Whether that’s the right choice or not depends on how militant you are about the concept of faithfulness. When it comes to The Witcher series, however, I expect most people won’t care, except for the author of the original books Andrzej Sapkowski himself. His personal gripe? The very existence of different witcher schools.

In The Witcher games, there’s various Witcher schools that crop up here and there, with Geralt of Rivia coming from the School of the Wolf. Except according to a recent AMA with Sapkowski on Reddit (thanks, PC Gamer), the whole idea of schools was completely blown out of proportion. “The issue of ‘witcher schools’ requires – I apologise – a longer explanation,” Sapkowski wrote. “A single sentence about some ‘school of the Wolf’ mysteriously made its way into The Last Wish. I later deemed it unworthy of development and narratively incorrect, even detrimental to the plot.”

For some context, The Last Wish is the first book he wrote in the series. The author goes on to explain that he didn’t include any references to any other schools in any of his other books from that point on. “However, that one sentence was enough. Adaptors, particularly video game people, have clung to the idea with remarkable tenacity and have wonderfully multiplied these ‘witcher schools.’ Completely unnecessary.”

Sapkowski also noted how he’s not sure how he wants to go about dispelling this idea of schools, suggesting removing any mention of them in future editions of The Last Wish, or even just outright expanding and clarifying the idea in future books. “Perhaps I’ll shed some light on the issue of Witcher medallions, their significance, and their connection to specific individuals? There are many possibilities, and the sky is the limit.”

I have to admit, this does tickle me quite a bit. I’m not a mega Witcher fan, I enjoyed the third one enough, but the schools did feel important enough to be relatively memorable. And they’re just not really a thing apparently!

Ultimately Sapkowski’s comments don’t really matter as the games have obviously taken on a very large life of their own. I doubt there’ll be anyone at CD Projekt Red who’s going to lose any sleep over this either.

In any case, there was meant to be one last Witcher 3 patch this year, but that recently got the boot to 2026. I’m sure you can wait a while longer for your cross-platform mod support.

Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 7 shares new multiplayer gameplay and details in lengthy new showcase

by admin September 30, 2025

With Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 7’s 14th November release date looming and its early access beta just days away, Activision has aired a big old Call of Duty Next showcase, featuring – amid the enthusiastic shouting and endless “official partner” promotion – a heap of multiplayer news and gameplay, including a look at Warzone’s new Resurgence map, and more.

Call of Duty Black Op 7’s open beta, as you probably already know, runs 5th-8th October, with early access beginning Thursday, 2nd October. Things kick off at 6pm in the UK/10am PDT and those taking part will have access to six 6v6 maps. There’s Blackheart (an off-shore oilrig), The Forge (a Tokyo R&D facility), Toshin’s downtown Tokyo, Exposure (the Australian outback), Imprint (an Alaskan weapons manufacturing facility), and Cortex’s human testing site. Zombies fans, meanwhile, can try out the Vandorn Farm survival map, with beta pre-loading starting tomorrow, 1st October.

Black Ops 7 – Launch Multiplayer Maps Flythrough.Watch on YouTube

Still on maps, Activision also used its showcase to whizz through a few of Black Ops 7’s 18 launch maps (16 for 6v6 matches, two for the series’ new 20v20 Skirmish mode). Colossus, for instance, is a Black Ops 2 “callback”, while Den takes players to a Japanese castle full of 2035 tech. There’s Express, set in a Tokyo train station; Hijacked, whose action unfolds on a Tokyo Bay yacht; Homestead, set in and around David Mason’s Alaskan childhood home, plus Paranoia – a more fantastical map inspired by the nightmare of David Mason’s mind. You can see those and more in the flythrough trailer above, but if your mappetite still isn’t sated, Activision says a further seven multiplayer maps will arrive as part of Black Ops 7’s post-launch Season 1 plans, alongside two Survival maps and one round-based map for Zombies mode. Nuketown 2025, for instance, is due “shortly after launch”.

Weapon-wise, Black Ops 7 features 16 new multiplayer weapons at launch, including the M10 Breacher – a pump-action shotgun that can be charged to reduce spread and land mid-range shots with more accuracy. Additional weapons (both new and returning favourites) are promised – alongside the likes of attachment rewards and weekly challenges – once Black Ops 7’s post-launch seasons get underway. We also got a peak at some of the new Weapon Prestige attachments and camos coming in Black Ops 7, with Activision promising a “big” year for camo fans. Alongside a dedicated camo track in the co-op campaign, there are 16 mastery camos (split across multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and co-op), plus plenty more coming as season rewards.

Rounding out the multiplayer portion of Activision’s showcase, there was a brief bit of Black Ops 7’s “very competitive” new Overload mode. This, if you’re unfamiliar, is a 6v6 objective mode in which each team attempts to secure the overload device and get it to one of the oppositions two zones. Success earns the victors one point and eight points equates to a win.

Next up, Zombies mode and its round-based Ashes of the Damned map. Inspired by the legend of the Bermuda Triangle, it’s constructed from landmarks – all with a violent history – dragged into the Dark Ether. There’s a ruined version Janus Towers Plaza, for instance; Black Water Cabin, where a famed horror director drowned his leading lady; Vandorn Farm, home to a murderous family and their unfortunate victims, plus the fractured Southern Georgia town of Ashwood. Between them lie endless waves of respawning undead, including the loot-snatching Ravagers. That’s where your trusty wonder vehicle Tessie comes in though, providing an essential means of transporation that can be augmented with thrusters, chomp attacks, and more.

There’s a closer look at Ashes of the Damned above, and if you like the sound of Vandorn Farm, it’s playable as a Survival map in the imminent beta. More survival locations taken from round-based maps are promised post-launch.

Warzone – Haven’s Hollow Flythrough.Watch on YouTube

Zombies mode also got a nod as Black Ops 7’s showcase turned its attention to Warzone. That’s thanks to Warzone’s new Resurgence map, Haven’s Hollow – a small Appalachian town that might look familiar to Zombies fans. It’s essentially a pre-outbreak version of Liberty Falls, featuring nine unique points of interest across its autumnal expanse. There’s the train station, mansion, lumber mill, riverboat, pond, coal depot, homestead, and Main Street, all of which appear in the flythrough above. And if that’s got you ready to go, Haven’s Hollow arrives with Season 1 later this year.

You’ll need to delve into the full several-hours-long showcase if you want to properly scrutinise Activision’s extensive Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 gameplay. As a reminder, open beta early access begins this Thursday, 2nd October, and the full game launches on 14th November.

154,448,000,000 SHIB Restores Hope as NetFlow Plunges 21%

by admin September 30, 2025

Shiba Inu is down 1.83% in its trading price over the last 24 hours. However, a relative decline in its exchange net inflow has triggered attention from investors.

According to data from an on-chain analytics platform, Shiba Inu has recorded a decrease of 154.4 billion SHIB in its overall net inflow across all supported exchanges, including Coinbase, Binance, and others.

SHIB holders show resilience

Despite the slowdown in Shiba Inu’s trading price, its exchange flows have shown a 21.83% decline, suggesting that holders have shown less interest in selling.

While this key metric signals a dramatic shift in investor sentiment, it appears that the decline in SHIB’s trading price is not entirely attributed to speculative trading. Rather, it might be the leading altcoin responding to the broader market trend.

The metric, which marks the difference between exchange inflows and outflows, suggests that the amount of Shiba Inu tokens withdrawn from exchanges is larger than the amount of tokens deposited for sale by 154,448,000,000 SHIB.

This trend indicates that many small and large SHIB holders have shown no interest in selling their holdings despite the negative price trend. Instead, they are moving their tokens into self-custody wallets to hold for longer periods.

While the decline in exchange flows stands as a bullish indicator, it aims to tighten the supply available on crypto exchanges while propelling the token toward a potential price upsurge.

Although the low selling activity could highlight strong investor confidence, it is also important to note that the slow market activity could mean that investors are trading with caution.

The sharp plunge in net flows could help stabilize the price movements of the leading memecoin, and investors are confident that the token might be set for bigger price rallies ahead.

To further build momentum for the dog-themed meme cryptocurrency, its burn activity has also surged decently by 22.98% after staying flat in previous days.

With 171,407 SHIB tokens moved out of circulation today, the resurgence in the SHIB burn rate aligns with the decline in exchange net flows, as they work hand in hand to tighten the SHIB supply while driving demand for the token.

Anker drops a 14-in-1 docking station with a knob and digital screen, which no one really saw coming.

  • Anker Prime Docking Station includes HDMI and DisplayPort support for triple external monitors
  • Brings 140W upstream USB-C for device-to-host connections
  • Delivers three 100W USB-C ports with varied transfer speeds

Anker has introduced the Prime Docking Station, a desktop accessory built to connect multiple devices and displays.

This device features a broad range of ports with a digital screen and control knob, elements not commonly found in docking stations.

The docking station is marketed as a “14-in-1” device, offering front-facing TF and SD card slots alongside a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Also on the front, there are three USB-C ports rated at 100W that provide fast charging and data transfer, with two running at 10Gbps and one at 5Gbps.

Above these sits a compact 2.1 by 0.9-inch digital screen that can show charging information or serve as a clock.

A side-mounted knob allows users to cycle between the different display modes, making this feature more interactive than the average dock.

At the rear, the docking station connects to the host device through a 140W upstream USB-C port supporting 10Gbps.

Other inputs include a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port and several USB-A ports with speeds of either 480Mbps or 5Gbps.

For external displays, one DisplayPort allows output at 8K and 60Hz, while two HDMI ports provide 8K at 30Hz.

These connections are supported through DisplayLink, which may help expand compatibility but could also affect performance in some cases.

This device comes with a dark grey metallic finish that aims to balance professional aesthetics with durability.

It measures 7.7 inches long, 3.6 inches wide, and 1.9 inches tall, roughly translating to 195 x 92 x 48 millimeters.

While compact compared to some workstation hubs, it is still larger than most travel-friendly options.

The inclusion of a small display and a physical knob set it apart visually, although it remains to be seen whether these elements provide real-world value beyond novelty appeal.

This device appeared at IFA 2025 and has been released in the U.S., China, and now Europe.

In Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, the accessory is available through Amazon at €349.99, but in the U.K., it is sold on Anker’s website for £299.99.
