Elden Ring - The Prisoner

A live-action Elden Ring movie from A24 and Alex Garland is in the works

by admin May 23, 2025

The rumors about an Elden Ring movie seemed too specific not to be true, and sure enough, Bandai Namco confirmed today that it’s working with A24 on a live-action Elden Ring movie.

The film will be written and directed by Alex Garland, best known for Civil War, Annihilation, and Ex Machina. He also wrote the screenplays for 28 Days Later and Dredd.

George RR Martin, who had a hand in Elden Ring’s lore, is on board as a producer.

You may like

We first heard about the project earlier in May, but the article revealing its existence was taken down and no official announcement was made until now.

Elden Ring co-op spin-off Elden Ring: Nightreign is on the verge of release—it’ll be out on May 29. Meanwhile, Garland’s latest movie is Warfare, which he wrote and directed with former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza. Reviews are largely positive.

So how do you make an Elden Ring movie? Hop into the comments if you have any good ideas. I suppose I’d go for something surreal and not super concerned with plot like David Lowery’s The Green Knight, also an A24 film. I’m not sure that’s how I’d expect Garland to approach it, though.

He does, at least, know the games: in a Reddit AMA in April, Garland said he was on a NG+6 run of Shadow of the Erdtree. He also has experience writing for games, including 2010’s Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Ninja Theory’s DmC: Devil May Cry.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Good or bad, the Elden Ring movie will probably at least be a spectacle. Hopefully we see a pot with legs.

Published: May 22, 2025 01:35 pm

A new update is available for Schedule 1 players, and it includes plenty of interesting additions along with a host of bug fixes.

The update is currently available on the public beta version of the game. You can switch to the beta to test out all the changes, or wait for the full version to follow very soon.

Major Schedule 1 V0.3.6 features

Here are the major highlights of the new patch in Schedule 1.

  • Lockers have been added to the game, and they will act as replacements for employee beds. If you have employees assigned to a bed, you can’t reassign them. However, new employees can be hired and assigned to lockers. This will save space for you, and the lockers can also be used to store more items.
  • Item slot filters have also been added to allow you to manage your employees better. You can set whitelists and blacklists with items that will instruct your employees which ones they can use.
  • Employees can now switch between different properties.

Major Schedule 1 V0.3.6 improvements

A few key improvements have also been added to the game to QoL features.

  • Storage unit capacity increased to three.
  • Consolidated all NPC and property save files.
  • The trash can pickup area has now been changed to squares instead of circles.
  • You’ll be able to view the pickup area of a Trash Can while placing it.

Major Schedule 1 V0.3.6 bug fixes

A few more bugs and glitches have also been quashed in the update.

  • Fixed occasional failures during NPC long-distance pathing.
  • Fixed occasional employee pathing failures.
  • Fixed employees sometimes attempt to pick up items without having the inventory capacity for them.
  • Fixed botanist-related performance bug.
  • Fixed police showing question marks above their heads while they’re unconscious.
  • Fixed viewmodel drifting.

To read the full patch notes, click on this link. The update will be available soon on the full version of Schedule 1, but we don’t have an exact date or time.

SEC Pushes Back Decision On XRP ETFs Again, What’s Going On?

by admin May 23, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has again delayed its decision on the XRP ETFs, raising discussions on when the Commission could approve these funds. Market expert and Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart has provided insights into when exactly an approval could come for these crypto ETFs.

SEC Pushes Back Decision On XRP ETFs

A SEC release shows that the agency has delayed its decision on CBOE’s filing to list and trade shares of 21Shares XRP ETF. Likewise, the Commission pushed back on its decision to approve the request to list and trade shares of Grayscale’s XRP ETF. This decision came as the second deadline for a decision approached.

The third deadline for the SEC to decide on Grayscale and 21Shares XRP ETFs is August 19 and 20, respectively. Meanwhile, the fourth and final deadline is October 18 and 19. In the meantime, the Commission has called for comments and rebuttals from the general public on why they should either approve or reject these filings.

It is also worth mentioning that the second deadlines for the Bitwise and WisdomTree XRP ETFs are May 25 and 27, respectively, and the SEC is expected to delay its decision on those filings. Meanwhile, the second deadline for the Canary and CoinShares ETFs is May 26.

A decision on all these filings could be announced together, similar to what the Commission has done for other filings with close dates. The second deadline for Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF is the 17th of next month.

In the meantime, a positive is that the CME XRP and Micro XRP futures launched earlier this week. Following their launch, Nate Geraci, the president of the ETF store, declared that the XRP ETFs are just a matter of time, meaning that approval is inevitable. A regulated futures market guarantees that the SEC cannot deny these filings on the grounds of manipulation since the court has ruled that the futures and spot markets are similar.

When An Approval Is Likely To Happen

In an X post, James Seyffart stated that the SEC will likely not approve the XRP ETFs early until late June or early July. He added that approval seems more likely in the early part of the fourth quarter of this year. This came as he noted that delays on these spot crypto ETFs are to be expected.

The Bloomberg analyst further explained that the SEC typically takes the full time to respond to these filings. As such, an early decision would be out of the norm, no matter how crypto-friendly the current SEC administration is. Seyffart and his colleague Eric Balchunas predict that there is an 85% chance that the SEC approves the XRP ETFs this year. Meanwhile, Polymarket data shows an 83% chance of approval in 2025.

Ethereum’s March To $3,000 Depends On Holding Above This Key Resistance Level

by admin May 23, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Given the growing bullish momentum across the general crypto market, Ethereum is showing early signs of an upward movement as it draws close to key resistance levels. While ETH is gaining traction, a crypto analyst underlined a particular price level where the altcoin could muster enough strength for its next major rally.

Technical Level To Ignite Ethereum’s Rally

Ethereum is preparing for a notable upward move following the renewed market surge, mainly triggered by Bitcoin’s significant growth in the past few days. Technical and on-chain analyst, Ali Martinez, has highlighted an impending upswing for ETH, pointing to a key zone in the journey toward higher price levels.

According to the expert’s analysis, this crucial resistance zone ahead has historically acted as a turning point for upside movements. However, this zone may either signal the start of a new consolidation cycle or confirm the strength of the current rally.

In the X post, Ali Martinez noted that Ethereum’s newfound strength hints at a spike to the $3,000 mark as it escapes the immediate barrier. ETH may be gearing up for a jump to this mark, but the altcoin must break and hold above the $2,588 zone.

ETH’s chart looks bullish | Source: Ali Martinez on X

Looking at the 1-hour chart, the anticipated upward move is further supported by a crucial Head and Shoulders formation, a technical pattern that mainly sparks notable price growth. With ETH breaking the resistance trend line of the pattern, Martinez is confident that the altcoin will hit the $3,000 range in the upcoming days.

Even though Ethereum is poised to rally, it appears the move will not be an easy ride for ETH, as several price levels have been observed acting as strong barriers against upside attempts. These barriers identified by Martinez include $2,668, $2,711, $2,774, and $2,827 at the Fibonacci levels of 1.272, 1.414, 1.618, and 1.786, respectively.

Ali Martinez’s prediction aligns with that of Michael Van De Poppe, a crypto analyst and founder of the MN Fund, who has previously forecasted a move to $3,000. Van De Poppe believes that with current momentum, ETH might hit this level very soon.

After analyzing ETH’s price action in the 6-hour time frame, the expert has highlighted the $2,410 range as a critical area that the altcoin must hold to lay the groundwork for its push to $3,000.

A Massive Triangle Pattern Forming On ETH’s Chart

In a larger time frame, particularly ETH’s 2-week chart, market expert Trader Tardigrade has revealed the formation of a massive Symmetrical Triangle pattern. A symmetrical triangle is a technical formation that precedes a notable uptrend or downtrend after a period of consolidation.

Presently, the altcoin is inching closer to the upper line of the triangle pattern at the $3,700 and $3,800 price range once again, indicating growing momentum. In the event of a breakout, Trader Tardigrade predicts a substantial surge to the $21,000 milestone.

Lian Li flexes new PSU with rotatable power outlet at Computex 2025

by admin May 23, 2025

Lian Li unveiled a novel new power supply series at Computex 2025, featuring a power outlet on a swivel, duplicate connectors on different sides of the unit, and a built-in USB hub on the back panel that can be swapped out for a fan controller.

These new power supplies, known as the RS series, will be available starting in Q3 2025. Pricing starts at $154.99 for the 1000W version, $159.99 for the same unit paired with a USB 2.0 hub, and $179.99 for the 1200W version that also comes with a USB 2.0 hub.

(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)(Image credit: Tom’s Hardware)

The RS series’ design is all about improving the flexibility of traditional ATX power supplies. The lineup’s most definitive feature is its swiveling three-prong power outlet on the back. This outlet can be moved from the front side of the unit to the right, to improve compatibility with non-conventional installations.

In addition to this swiveling outlet, Lian Li has also mounted duplicate 24-pin ATX power connectors and primary 8-pin EPS power connectors on the front and left of the unit. Having the power connectors on the left side specifically can be beneficial in a traditional ATX case, where the power supply is mounted on the bottom with the fan facing downwards. Installing the 24-pin and EPS cables on the left side will provide better cable management, less cable clutter in the bottom PSU chamber, and better reach to the motherboard if cable length is a problem.

The front-mounted connectors are presumably designed for ITX enclosures, which can often have the PSU mounted in unorthodox areas — such as the front of the case, where a cable adapter is required to wire the PSU’s three-prong power outlet to the rear of the chassis. In these cases, again, having the 24-pin and 8-pin EPS in the front of the unit alongside the three-prong outlet can improve cable management and declutter the back portion of the unit where most of the cables will inevitably be installed.

These changes also make room for the RS series USB hub/fan controller hub mounting point on the back. Lian Li installed a mount below the rear CPU, PCIe, and SATA power connectors that can house either of the aforementioned hubs. The fan controller hub is a combo USB/fan controller hub that houses four additional USB 2.0 headers (for internal use), and six 4-pin fan connectors powered by an 8-pin connector (either SATA or PCIe). Lian Li also has a dedicated USB 2.0 hub with five USB headers for those who don’t need an extra fan controller. (This is the same hub that is combined with the more expensive 1000W unit and 1200W unit, mentioned previously.)

How to unlock LC10 SMG in BO6 and Warzone season 4

by admin May 22, 2025

Season four is set to arrive in BO6 and Warzone with a bunch of new content, including operators, maps, and weapons. One such weapon being introduced in season four is the LC10 SMG. Available from the launch of the upcoming season on May 29, the LC10 is a fully automatic SMG with a decent fire rate.

The LC10 is one of the two weapons being released with the launch of season four, while three more new weapons will be released later in the season. However, the LC10 is the only new SMG being introduced in the upcoming season, and if you’re a fan of mobility along with a weapon that features good accuracy and range, you simply cannot miss out on this one.

Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking the LC10 SMG in BO6 and Warzone.

How to unlock the LC10 in BO6 and Warzone

Season four is almost here. Image via Activision.

Activision has confirmed that one of the new weapons available with the launch of season four is the LC10 SMG. However, the weapon won’t be available for you from the get-go, and you will have to spend some time unlocking tiers and pages on the battle pass until you reach the SMG. The LC10 is available on the third page of the battle pass, requiring you to play and earn XP to level up tiers and pages.

The LC10 features all the possible attachment slots, allowing you to further enhance the weapon’s performance. Additionally, there is also a weapon blueprint for the LC10 that you can unlock from the fourteenth page of the battle pass. However, that will take a lot of time and might even cost you additional CoD points.

The upcoming season is expected to follow the course of its predecessors and stretch over a period of eight weeks, giving you plenty of time to grind for XP and unlock all the possible rewards.

XRP Traders Remain Overwhelmingly Long on Binance

by admin May 22, 2025

  • XRP traders remain bullish
  • XRP active addresses show steady activity

XRP traders on Binance appear to be bullish as long positions have surpassed shorts over the last few days. The latest Coinglass chart for the XRP/USDT perpetual market indicates that longs continue to dominate—an indication that most traders expect a rise in XRP price in the coming days.

XRP traders remain bullish

A comparison of the long and short positions on the chart shows that the longs (green bars) make up over 70% of total positions during the observed period. Shorts (red bars) have barely gained any significant momentum.

However, XRP sentiment hasn’t been entirely stable, as the line graph displays sharp dips and rebounds. Around May 19, interest from longs dipped temporarily, with shorts gaining the upper hand before a quick recovery. During this period, the percentage of long accounts dropped closer to 50% before rebounding.

This shift reflects some uncertainty in the market, but the sharp return to a higher long ratio shows a strong underlying belief by traders that XRP price could recover and continue rising.

You Might Also Like

The price trend (represented by the black line over the long/short bars) mirrors the shift in sentiment. Even during price pullbacks, longs remained above 60%, indicating that most traders considered the dips as buying opportunities rather than reasons to exit positions.

Since this long/short account ratio is based on the number of trader accounts on each side, it highlights the breadth of the bullish sentiment. The significant number of accounts leaning toward longs points to a broader retail optimism.

Still, the current wave of optimism around XRP can change quickly, especially if traders begin factoring in other important elements such as macroeconomic conditions.

XRP active addresses show steady activity

Meanwhile, data from Glassnode shows that the number of active addresses on the XRP network has fluctuated noticeably over the past ten days. As of May 12, active addresses stood slightly above 38,000. However, a sharp decline followed, with the number dropping to about 33,000 by May 16.

On May 17, there was a sudden spike in activity, with active addresses rising to nearly 44,000—the highest level during this period. Twenty-four hours later, the number fell below 30,000 and remained in that range for the next three days. Then, on May 21, it rebounded to approximately 33,000.

As of the latest CoinMarketCap update, XRP is trading at $2.41 after a 1.28% gain in the last 24 hours.

More players. More choices. Unlocking HDMI gaming features

by admin May 22, 2025

Gamers have more freedom and choices than ever to play in every room in their house, in other locations or even on the move, without breaking the bank. All major manufacturers of HDTVs include key HDMI® gaming features that make playing feel more immersive and responsive, reduce lag and maximize the overall experience.

Add in the choice of using 4K or even upscaled 8K, and you don’t have to play in an esports arena to get the full effects the game designers intend. The high adoption rate of HDTVs with the gaming features also means there are more choices for gamers than just relying on specialized gaming monitors; although both types of displays have multiple features and benefits that gamers should check, especially with the growing category of smart HDMI-enabled monitors.

Three HDMI gaming features make all of the difference. They include:

You may like

  • Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which reduces or eliminates lag, judder, and frame tearing for more fluid and better detailed gameplay. VRR enables a gaming source, such as a console or computer, to deliver frames as fast as it can, which in many cases is slower than the normal static refresh rate.
  • Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which enables the ideal latency setting to be set automatically allowing for smooth, lag-free and uninterrupted viewing and interactivity. In many cases this is referred to as game mode, and it usually has to be set manually, which involves going through menus and settings and then switching back again for normal viewing.
  • Quick Frame Transport (QFT), which reduces latency for smoother no-lag gaming and virtual reality. QFT transports each frame at a higher rate to decrease “display latency,” which is the amount of time between a frame being ready for transport in the GPU and that frame being completely displayed.

Right now, many top manufacturers offer the benefits of these HDMI gaming features and at higher refresh rates such as 144 Hz and 165 Hz for smoother, more responsive gameplay.

Gaming monitors from many of these same companies and others are available with these HDMI gaming features with refresh rates up to 240 Hz, 280 Hz and even 480 Hz—but consider some may sacrifice resolution or luminance, so make sure to check the specs.

There’s other good news for gamers as well. Many portable game consoles can output to an HDTV, and most of them are equipped with HDMI technology, making these portables easy to connect. It has recently been announced by Nintendo that the new Switch 2 will be bundled with an Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable for HDTV connection. These portables include:

  • Mobile phones via a USB C to HDMI adapter and HDMI Cable.
  • Steam Deck via the Steam Deck Docking Station and an HDMI Cable.
  • Nintendo Switch via an HDMI Cable to a TV from the dock’s HDMI Out. Be sure to power the setup using a USB Type C plug to connect the Switch AC adapter to the dock’s AC Adapter terminal.
  • ASUS ROG Ally using an ASUS ROG Gaming Charger Dock connected to the TV via an HDMI Cable.
  • Lenovo Legion Go via the HDMI port on the USB-C dock.
  • Retroid Pocket 4 Pro via a micro HDMI to HDMI Type A Cable.

Of course, always be sure to connect to a TV with the correct HDMI® Cable to ensure support for the maximum bandwidth and feature set your gaming setup is capable of delivering.

Monster Train 2 Review - Engine Ingenuity

Monster Train 2 Review – Engine Ingenuity

by admin May 22, 2025

“No two runs are the same” is an oft-spoken line in reference to roguelikes, and it has perhaps never been more true than with Monster Train 2. With five new Clans, new card types, and a side mode of dimensional challenges, every run is distinct, but combat never becomes less satisfying. Despite some cutscenes that leave much to be desired, Shiny Shoe has crafted one of my favorite roguelikes of the year so far, improving on the previous title in every way.

In Monster Train 2, you lead various armies of Hell in a war against the Titans, an old, powerful faction that threatens the existence of your world. To stand up against such an imposing threat, you have control of multiple Clans, unique societies of magical creatures that each have their own playstyles. The angelic Banished Clan focuses on the Valor buff, granting additional armor and damage, while the draconic Pyreborn Clan hoards gold and inflicts pyregel, a debuff that causes enemies to take more damage. Each Clan also has two champions, powerful units you build your runs around, to choose from. When a run starts, you pick a primary Clan and a secondary Clan, and with five to unlock (plus a load of secret ones), the sheer number of combinations is staggering.

Combat takes place aboard the titular locomotive, which has four tiers of train cars – three for your units to battle, and a fourth to hold the Pyre, the train’s lifeblood. If it takes too much damage, it explodes and your run ends, so it’s in your best interest to eliminate enemies as soon as possible. The end result is part deckbuilder, part roguelike, and part tower defense, as you draw cards to place units on each floor and defend the train from waves of attackers.

Most cards cast spells, dealing damage, healing, inflicting status conditions, and more, but Monster Train 2 introduces two new types of cards: equipment and room cards. Equipment is played on a friendly unit to give them better stats and abilities, while rooms add a modifier to an entire car, like boosting spell potency or granting money when units die. The game also adds unlockable Pyres, which have active or passive abilities to make your runs even more interesting. Each feature brings something new and exciting to the table, entering the gameplay so seamlessly that I often forgot they were absent from the last game.

Each run uses one of two clans, each with two champions and associated starting cards, meaning that if you exclude the game’s secret clans (which increase the total exponentially), there are 80 ways to start a run. While I haven’t played each permutation, every combo I’ve started with so far has been surprisingly exciting, as each cleverly designed Clan synergizes with another in a unique way. It isn’t randomness for the sake of big numbers – each run I’ve played has felt as fun as the one before it, and it’s an impressive feat.

Monster Train 2 also includes a collection of 21 Dimensional Challenges, restricting you to a preset combination of Clans and adding fun mutators to alter the game. For example, “Weapons Make the Warrior” reduces all cards’ upgrade slots to 1, but makes equipment cards twice as powerful and cost less to play. “Twofer” doubles all money earned, status effects inflicted, and makes it so each time you add a card to your deck, you get a copy of it. In contrast to the standard, ultimately customizable base game, it’s a collection of carefully curated rulesets and modifiers. I appreciate that these challenges adjust your strategies and the game’s difficulty beyond simply making it harder. Many roguelikes include unlockable settings or difficulty modes limiting your abilities, but sometimes I want to be challenged in different ways, and Monster Train 2 understands that.

My main issue with the game lies in its story, which is, thankfully, infrequent and easily ignored. Upon completing runs, you’re greeted by cutscenes of conversations between the Clans’ various Champions as they try to figure out what to do next in their battle against the Titans. It feels half-baked, with reused battle models standing against plain backgrounds and turning left or right to indicate which character they’re speaking to. The dialogue is mostly exposition disguised as conversation, and most characters are reduced to their Clans’ most basic traits – dragons are greedy and like gold, while the Lazarus League obsesses over science and experiments. Monster Train 2’s gameplay is inspired and expertly crafted, but its cutscenes are cliché and forgettable.

Still, I didn’t come to Monster Train 2 for an engaging story. I came for tense, strategic combat, hours of upgrading and optimizing spells and units, and that uniquely roguelike power fantasy of starting with scraps and blazing your way to the top. The realm of indie roguelikes is competitive and crowded, but despite years of tough competition, Monster Train 2 has strongly reasserted its series as one of the leaders of the pack. In other words, many games are good; few are as good as Hell.

What it means for Pepe, Solaxy, WPONKE

by admin May 22, 2025

Solaxy claims Layer 2 on Solana, but with little to solve, focus shifts to Wall Street Ponke, raising $300k fast with real value.

Solaxy has been making noise in the market. It’s calling itself the first Layer 2 project on Solana, and that’s getting people excited. But here’s the part many miss. Solana is already fast. It’s already cheap to use. That’s why it became so popular. On Ethereum, Layer 2 tech makes sense because gas fees are high and transactions are slow. But Solana doesn’t have those issues.

So the question becomes: what exactly is Solaxy solving? Some investors still think it could go 5x simply because of hype. But more careful traders are asking a better question , does it have long-term value?

That’s why attention is starting to shift to another name in the memecoin race. And it’s not just for the hype. It’s for the tools.

Wall Street Ponke raises $300k in hrs and builds something real

While some coins chase trends, Wall Street Ponke is building structure. In just a few hours, it raised over 300,000 dollars during presale. And it didn’t do it with buzzwords — it did it by showing value.

Wall Street Ponke is not just another memecoin. It’s the first in the space to bring artificial intelligence into crypto trading. That means safer moves, smarter decisions, and fewer rug pulls for everyday traders.

Here’s what makes Wall Street Ponke valuable:

  • A trading platform that scans smart contracts to find hidden risks
  • AI-powered alerts that warn about scams and suspicious tokens
  • Real-time market data to help catch trends before they explode
  • A clear mission to protect users and remove bad actors
  • A shift in focus from whales to real builders and developers
  • A fully audited smart contract by Coinsult for extra security
  • Staking rewards over 1000 percent for long-term holders

And remember, all of this is still available at the early price of just 0.000261 dollars per token.

Wall Street Ponke is also building education

Too many people lose money in crypto because they don’t know what they’re doing. Wall Street Ponke knows that. That’s why it’s not just building tools. It’s also building a way for people to learn.

The WPonke learning platform was designed for everyone. Whether someone is just starting or already experienced, this space helps them trade smarter.

Here’s what they get:

  • Simple lessons that explain everything clearly
  • Live signals and practical advice to guide  trades
  • A community where traders share tips and learn together
  • Trusted information from real people with real experience
  • A fun and hands-on way to build confidence in crypto

Wall Street Ponke isn’t just trying to ride the next pump. It wants to help people become a better trader.

As markets heat up, Wall Street Ponke stands out

The market is coming back. The nasdaq composite is going up. Dogecoin price is rising again. ETH price is steady and pepe coin isn’t making much noise anymore.

But investors are no longer just chasing the next meme. They want more than that now. They want safety. They want rewards. They want something built to last.

That’s why Wall Street Ponke is becoming one of the most talked-about memecoins in this cycle. It’s not about hype anymore. It’s about value.

How to get in now

To buy WPONKE, go to the official website, connect Trust Wallet or MetaMask, and pay with ETH, USDT, BNB, or card. Simple, secure, and early.

Interested investors can follow WPONKE on Twitter and Telegram.
