Popular fast-food chain Wendy’s is bringing yet another part of its menu into supermarkets for the first time.
Over the last few years, Wendy’s has been working on making items available for customers to buy straight from the supermarket.
The company released cans of its chili back in 2023, and in May 2025, brought its iconic square patties into certain markets around the US.
Now, Wendy’s fans looking to make their baconators at home will soon be able to buy packs of Wendy’s bacon – assuming they’re lucky enough to live near a store that has it.

Wendy’s lets you bring home the bacon
According to a statement given to People, Wendy’s is looking to bring more of their food to customers in “new and exciting ways.”
One of those ways is by offering its bacon in supermarkets, which is available in King Soopers or Kroger in “select markets.” They didn’t say where the new food is available, but we’re assuming it’s the same markets as the previously released hamburger patties.

If so, that means the bacon will be available in Denver, Colorado, and Columbus, Ohio.

As news of the release broke, users flocked to social media to share their thoughts about the bacon availability.
“No one in the history of humanity has been like ‘I really wish I could buy JUST Wendy’s bacon.’,” commented one user.
Another asked: “So they even make good enough bacon to be selling it in the grocery store?”
Others mentioned that they may try to get the bacon so they can make homemade Baconators, which is nearly possible to do with everything Wendy’s has made available. With the bacon and patties in store, all you’d have to find is a suitable bun, ketchup, mayo, and American cheese.
