YouTube star CoryxKenshin has returned to YouTube following a two-month hiatus, during which one of his ex-partners came forward with accusations regarding their past relationship.
CoryxKenshin is one of the most popular gaming-focused content creators on YouTube. Boasting over 22 million subscribers, he’s become so famous that he scored a speaking role in Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s film and even made his own manga series.
Outside of his humorous playthroughs of viral horror games, Cory is also known for taking random, unexplained hiatuses from uploading videos, going ghost on social media for months at a time.

His most notable absence lasted for over a year and a half before he finally returned in late 2024, promising to upload 100 videos the next year.

While he’s taken a few breaks here and there, he has managed to upload 25 videos at the time of writing — but fans grew worried when he once again disappeared from the internet in summer 2025.

CoryxKenshin returns to YouTube once again after two-month hiatus
During this time, Cory came under scrutiny when one of his ex-partners, a TikToker named @pandaninjaxxofficial (also known as Nina), posted a series of videos and screenshots of prior conversations with Cory.

In the now-deleted posts, she accused the YouTuber of toxic behavior and emotional manipulation. In one video, Cory joked about doing something to Nina while she was asleep. In another, he attempted to hit her up after they had seemingly broken things off.
The situation sparked a heated debate online, but fans quickly took Cory’s side after pandaninjaxx’s ex-roommate came forward with a different account of events, saying she was “lying” and that the events in question had taken place eight years prior.

Eventually, the ordeal appeared to resolve itself, but Cory remained AWOL. He was later seen at events like the Evolution Championship Series fighting game tournament in Las Vegas before finally making his long-awaited comeback on September 4.

CoryxKenshin apologizes to fans for “poor communication”
While Cory did not address any of the allegations his ex-partner brought forward, he apologized for his lack of uploads and reiterated that he plans on uploading 100 videos in 2025. His video, which lasted a total of 38 seconds, has already been viewed over half a million times since being uploaded 35 minutes ago at the time of writing.

“Sorry about the poor communication,” he said. “That’s my bad. But like I said at the beginning of the year, a hundred videos.”
Fans have largely been supportive of Cory’s return and eagerly await his next video.
This isn’t the first time Cory has dealt with criticism. In March 2025, Cory felt compelled to address outrage that sparked after he appeared in a video with his braider, where fans accused him of ogling the hairdresser when she walked in front of him.

“I’m so sorry you got dragged into all of this,” he said toward his braider. “She asked me if she could record the process, it would help her business. And me being me, the most private guy ever, I’m like, ‘You know what, if this is gonna help your business… let’s do it.’”
